Upon my relocation to the US from abroad, I strived to reactivate my AT&T contract to use promptly my IPhone 4. The latter was purchased at AT&T in the US prior to my departure abroad. Their clean, bright and well-organized store was empty. Both the store manager and its sale associate were unwilling to help me. They were pushy to sell me a new phone and contract. When I insisted I wanted to use my IPhone 4 purchased at AT&T, they stated I should call AT&T corporate to unlock it. They claimed the AT&T customer service forgot to unlock it when I relocated abroad. They refused to call AT&T corporate in their store to unlock my phone and sell me a contract. As a result, I brought my business to the Verizon store nearby.

I had a great customer experience in-store with Peter Teifer, the store manager. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. I was told that my old phone would be «unlocked in a day» and they even filled out the form online. Unfortunately it turned out that I would have to wait two weeks. I bought the new phone on the promise that I could have the old phone for an overseas trip this week, not two weeks from now! Eva tried to resolve the unlock with AT&T on a conference call, but to no avail. I got home, and woke up to find the phone without service, as the store had installed the wrong SIM card, according to AT&T. I had to go to another AT&T store and have them install a new SIM card. Don’t be fooled by their sales pitch!

Brandon, the manager, is a HERO! I had lost my iPhone(which I found 2 days later, but nonetheless, I was in shambles that day) — and was quoted $ 649 at the Apple store for a new phone, leaving me crestfallen, to say the least. I went to AT&T, not expecting much, BUT: Brandon updated my contract, helped me pay less per month, get a new phone for $ 59.95(with more storage) and I hugged him. YES! He deserves to be hugged because not only did he super-save me on that day, he made me believe that big companies work on individuals like Brandon. AT&T, you have a diamond at your Quaker Bridge Store, I sure hope you KNOWIT! TY, Brandon! :o)
