Zipz Transportation and Freight

I was referred to this company by a colleague of mine who was relocating for work from another city and used zips to relocate their entire single-​family home and had a great experience. I thought they wouldn’t take me because I was only moving a one bedroom apartment with minimal items however when they showed up & told me it wouldn’t be a problem even though they had a huge truck. They came right in packed up everything for me carefully and locked it in place in the truck. I was really impressed at the level of care they took for basically IKEA items. They treated my items as if it were their own. Very professional and efficient. I recommend Zips 100% and will definitely use the company again.

I hate moving a family friend of mines referred me to call Zipz transportation and freight. I called got a solid price with them. The day they came they were early to map out and figure out the best way to move everything and was very professional. They treated my furniture with care like it was there own. I was very happy and my back was too LOL. They also impress my wife with how they handled everything and she is hard to please so like they say happy wife happy life. I will always used Zipz Transportation and Freight when it is time to move again.

I have used Zipz Transportation for my residential moving and delivery since 2005. Zipz provided residential moving services for me in a move from MD to PA in 2005 and again in my move from PA to VA in 2008. The rates were exceptional, but most importantly I was highly impressed with the level of knowledge, logistics, and professionalism. Mr. Spencer, who is also the owner, was the lead on each job. So, it’s not like I was getting just anybody coming to my home. His attention to detail is almost compulsive… LOL. He was prompt, organized, took care of all my items, especially my fragile items like my artwork, and my larger ceramic and glass items. When moving my really bulky furniture out and into my homes, (if anyone knows how tricky that can be cutting corners and negotiating doorways etc) he was so precise that I didn’t feel like I had to supervise him or the staff. By the second move, I was comfortable that all I needed to do was move out of the way. As a result, I referred him to many of my friends and colleagues, and each time I was given extreme appreciation for the referral. Moving can be stressful and having a great mover makes it so much more palatable.
I was sad to see that he was transitioning out of moving and doing more shipping and delivery. However, when I opened my business and needed some items picked up from the warehouse and delivered, I used Zipz once again! Needless to say, Zipz has become a fixture for my personal and business shipping and moving needs.
