see my other review for Sardi’s. Go at like new after they cycle through the chicken. LOL. It’s good tho.

I like sardi’s, I’m still trying to figure my staple dish there… I like the Gyro there very flavorful and full of meat, I can say that and there chicken are my staples. but I also like there Lamb chops. Although small you only get very small Lamb chops. But I like them ventering off today. 1÷27÷16 I tried there chicharon de pollo… and was not pleased at All… I have had authentic chicharones with pork but this was trash not even worth my $ 10 or the side because I was so disappointed at the main dish I didn’t even want my side anybody that knows or has had chicharones knows what it is but I was expecting a little bit more from Sardis or maybe I shouldn’t have maybe it’s my fault all I know is I will never order it again but I do have some other dishes that I want to try,. I like Sardis they’re very flavorful but I would not try that chicharones ever again and I will leave it at that!!! I will not elaborate so with that said I like sardi’s… I like they’re flavorful food I just did not like this dish but I have other dishes I plan to explore very soon and make an update review…

Excellent food! So delicious. Hate that I always have to wait 15 mins for lomo Saltado. But it’s yummy so I always wait Lol.

I got the ¼ chicken white meat with fried rice and plantain. The chicken was tender and very juicy. The rice was pack with bit of chicken and flavor. The plantain was a bit plain. The sauces are they have are pretty good. With a ¼ chicken you are limited to 3. The verde is the best, you can also get rosa(red) and white. They do offer more then chicken. They get pretty busy during lunch hour but the line moves smoothly but does get slow. There is plenty of parking both in the front and back.

I got a family dinner while my bestest buddy was home from school, pretty good chicken, smaller pieces than I get at my other place in Twinbrook. But much better side variety, I also like that with a larger meal deal they include beverages. Love the Laurel location, plenty of parking, minutes from ICC for me and lots of stores in the shopping center that I can use when stopping, while this has nothing to do with the chicken, the location is a good one. Best sides I had were sautéed green beans, fried rice, I didn’t like the red potatoes, those were sooooooooo dry… ughhhhhhh. Liked the white sauce, also liked that it was pre-packaged, I just used some with some grilled fish tonight YUMMY… and cause it’s pre-packaged and sealed none of it has gone to waste. Establishment clean, good customer service when I went. Good parking… Nothing to complain about at all, I see why folks like Sardi’s ohhhhhh and prices really reasonable… and feels like a meal, not so much like fast food. Glad I went, will go back and try some other menu items:)

I actually favor this location for Sardi’s. I have been to this location and Gaithersburg and I prefer Laurel. The restaurant is organized, clean and the service is good. The servers at the Gaithersburg location are not friendly at all and the restaurant is cramped. This location has plenty of spacious seating, a full menu and fresh tasty food. They have all of the sauce options and lots of desserts near the register. Also, the grilled options, rotisserie chicken and side dishes are all yummy! Happy Dinning! :)

Good food. Came here after being cooped up in the house for five days after Christmas due to a cold. I got the half white chicken with fries and beans and rice on the side. The portions are huge and big enough for two meals. The green sauce is the best in my opinion, a little creamy a little spicy. I’ve visited the Beltsville location several times but never this one. It did not taste identical to the Beltsville location which is just a hair better, but it did not disappoint either. P. s. You might need some salt.

I ordered this meal from the Laurel location. The food here is sooooo good. I ordered the Ultimate Mixed Grill with fried rice and Peruvian corn as my sides. This seemed like a great option since I wasn’t sure what to get(this was my first time eating here) and didn’t really have a taste for anything in particular. It’s like a sampler. The ultimate mixed grill comes with a shrimp skewer, a piece of steak, ¼ grilled chicken, and chorizo in a bed of white rice. Everything was AMAZING except the Peruvian corn; the texture was weird to me. I sampled three different sauces; red, yellow, and green. They all reminded me of the white sauce that you get at a hibachi place but with a Peruvian kick to them. None of them are SUPER spicy which is what I would’ve preferred. However, I fancied the yellow sauce the best. The plates are well worth the price. I shared with my two kids and still had plenty left over once I was done. The leftovers tasted just as good as the day it was purchased. I ate the leftovers almost 2 days later. I’d definitely recommend this place to any and everyone and I’ll most definitely be returning.

The Laurel shop follows the Sardi’s recipe perfectly: crispy smoky skin, tender juicy meat, savory black beans, crisp fresh green beans, generous portions. This store goes a baby step upscale compared to my usual stop in Beltsville: booths with padded seats, music not quite so loud, Cholula hot sauce vs generic(though the ferocious habanero sauce is still there), and their delightful salsa is in wider, shallower packages which makes for easier dipping. Olé!

I’ll begin by giving nothing but the highest praise to Sardi’s chicken, specifically the location near College Park. A few years ago, my girlfriend(at the time) and I made it a weekly thing for awhile because it was just that good. It was one of the best, if not the best, chicken I ever had. Learning that they opened a new location near where I live, I was naturally inclined to try it. The new location definitely has a better facility and dining amenities, but that’s where the praise ends. The chicken wasn’t as moist nor flavorful as I remember it to be. I vividly remember how tasteful and juicy even the white meat was when I ate it religiously at CP, but this one didn’t compare… It was also a bit overly salted. Luckily the infamous green sauce still made it enjoyable. Even the sides(green beans & mixed vegetables) were on the salty side. Sardi’s has the right recipe when it comes to Peruvian chicken, it just seemed like the food here was seasoned too much and left out for too long. Given the choice, I would definitely make the extra 10 – 15 minute drive to the original location where I feel like the chicken and sides are better prepared. Who knows, maybe I just came at an uncanny day. But it’s still no excuse– 3.5÷5 stars for me… can’t give it a full 4 due to the cold temperature inside and overly loud traditional music.

I have eaten almost everything here and the food it is good, they have a good combinations for each plate of food. I love the sides variety. One time per week we visited this place, a lit bit far away from our office but still good food. The points if is you have just one hour for lunch the quick way to eat fast is to order chicken, because if you want to order others dishes you have to wait over 20 minutes or next time you have to call. They are very friendly when they take the orders by phone. See you YA!

Oh yes. Very well seasoned and juicy charbroiled chicken. This chicken is great! Normally places like this have bad sides and only good chicken. my sides were really good I had rice and black beans and steamed vegetables. I need a new reason to visit Laurel to make this stop.

Don’t get their Ceviche Mixto. The portion was ridiculously small. I understand that seafood is expensive but this was so disappointing that for the first time in Sardi’s history, I actually felt bad. Almost like a heartache. This place is so awesome that I go here almost every week. Aside from that setback above, this is what I usually get and the results are nothing short of amazing. Family Meal: 2 whole chickens, 4 big sides and 6 cans of soda for a little less than 40 bucks. This is usually split between me and my friend. I would get 1 chicken, 2 sides which are White Rice & Black Beans and Fries with 3 bottles of water instead of soda. He would get 1 chicken, 2 sides which are Fried Rice & Black Beans and Plantains with 3 cans of soda. Then they would ask us what sauce we’d like to have. We tell em everything. Though the green hot sauce is the best, I do enjoy the mayo sauce as well. Their chicken looks succulent, it smells distinctively delicious and it tastes even better! The breast area might be a tad bit dryer compared to the original location in Beltsville, but that’s why we have the sauce to help right? The Black Beans & Rice combo is soooooo good. It may look simple and un-tasty, but it’s actually flavorful and goes really well with the chicken. I get fries because they give you a lot and with the sauce you have, they’re tasty! My buddy’s plantains are always tender and slightly sweet. What more can you ask for? I can ask for the Ceviche’s portion to be bigger lol. Seriously, their chicken isn’t expensive and the taste is truly marvelous. Even if the line is long, it goes by really fast because they know what they’re doing. Very friendly people and overall a great atmosphere to be in.

I will say that the food is excellent and on a five star level. I know you are looking above and noticing my three stars and I will get to that later. This was my first visit and I went with the combo grilled that came with shrimp, steak, chorizo, and chicken. This combo comes with two sides and I went with the plantains and rice and beans. You actually have a plethora of sides to choose from. The portion sizes were decent and will fill you up. The chicken was moist and not overly spiced as with so many of the Peruvian places that offer rotisserie chicken in the area. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded with most people deciding to do takeout. Here is where I get into the reason as to why I gave three stars. As a first time customer the first thing I noticed was the fact that the tables were taking some time to get clean. A big turn off was seeing a chicken bone left on the table for the entire 15 minutes I was waiting in line to place my order. I was with guest and one go nd a clean table in the back as many were dirty. As I said food was good but it gets in your mind if it is this clean in the dining area what is it like in the back. I am not going to judge on one experience as I will return and chalk this up to a one time event.

I came here on a Monday evening and there wasn’t a line. The staff was very rude. I approached the«Order Here» sign and it was a guy standing directly in front of me chopping chicken and never looked up to me to say«How can I help you.» So I looked at the guy standing next to him and asked is this where I order and he looked at me then looked away. At this point I was irritated. Finally the guy cutting the chicken decided to ask what I wanted after I stood there for a few minutes. I then tried to order one entrée and it was going to take 15min to cook :/. I appreciate the freshness of the food but I just didn’t have the time to wait. Aside from the rude staff I ended up ordering the ¼ dark meat chicken, plantains, fried rice, and black beans. The food was delicious! The chicken was nicely seasoned and moist for the most part. The plantains were cooked perfectly and the black beans were also nicely seasoned. The fried rice was awesome. It was sprinkled with herbs and pieces of egg. I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, I enjoyed my food but was disappointed in the service. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture :/. I’ll probably try this place out again and hope that the employees are more welcoming next time and are more appreciative of our business!

Came here on a recommendation from a close friend. I ordered my food for takeout. As per my usual for places like this, I stuck with the rotisserie chicken and sides. I’m also working to find my favorite Peruvian chicken spot in the area. What I ordered: ½ chicken, black beans and rice, french fries. The sides were what I expected. They tasted good. The chicken was nice and juicy, but it was too much for me to eat in one sitting so I saved half of it for the next day. I went to warm up my ½ of chicken the next day and as I pulled it out of the microwave, I noticed red stuff on my plate. Yes, blood! I turned the chicken over to see that blood was dripping out of one of the chicken joints. It turned me all the way off! It surprised me because when I ate the other half the night before, everything tasted so nice. My stomach turned and I threw it away. I gave three stars because the cooked parts of the chicken were good. as were the sides. But I will not be back.

— 1 star for no menus that I could take home or peruse while I made up my mind. As a first timer, I ended up letting several people go ahead of me until I asked a guy in line what he recommended. I went with his suggestion of the Ultimate Mixed Grill. Boy was it satisfying! The Ultimate Mixed Grill comes with two sides and I selected plantains and the Peruvian fried rice to accompany the grilled skewer of shrimp, carne asada, chorizo and ¼ chicken. I didn’t know it would come on a bed of white rice or I would’ve opted for a different side. There are a lot of side options as well as main entrée options to choose from. I’d recommend bringing a friend so that you can sample more from the menu. My items were cooked to order and it was so tempting not to pull over and take a nibble. I did however scarf down a plantain at the red light… lol I was only able to finish half and will enjoy the rest tomorrow. The smell is only a hint at the deliciousness that awaits you at Sardi’s. I couldn’t help but notice a steady stream of people seated and getting to go food. There is parking in the front and back of the restaurant and the establishment is clean. I have to thank my people at the hair salon I visit for this awesome recommendation.

Got the whole chicken meal with 2 large sides for 17.50. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Yuca was good and green beans have a nice flavor. They weren’t kidding when they sides were large. They give you a lot. What I really like about Peruvian chicken places is the sauces. The hot one is the best. But you can try all 3!

I used to drive all the way out to Beltsville in thunderstorms just to get my fix of chicken. Everyone(except my boyfriend) falls in love with this place. I actually risked my life in the snowstorm where we got 7+ inches of snow for this chicken because my friend from L.A. was in town. I got great chicken and a slip and slide adventure! The chicken is soooooo juicy and delicious. The sauces send it over the top — try all three, varies in spice level. I usually get the Churrasco de Pollo(Tender Chicken breast marinated in Cilantro, Peppers, Garlic and Onions, charbroiled to perfection. Topped with Pico de Gallo) or Pollo Parrillero(/2 de-boned Chicken marinated and charbroiled to perfection). I don’t eat meat off the bone and sometimes places overcook breast meat — not this place! This sides are all good — always get the plantains, side salad(amazing spicy/tangy dressing — I can only guess there is a little soy sauce in it and have no clue what the other great ingrediates are), fries, string beans(fresh but a little greasy sometimes) and the fried rice has bits of chicken in it.
