Lovely location, best Korean bbq in South Florida. Decent prices too. Only issue is the meat portions are odd. Sometimes they give like 2 oz and then 8 oz? I had to tell them to take some back!

Went here already twice. The side dishes and services offer is amazing. Just make sure you are ordering from the correct menu. There is one«lunch/late night» and a «dinner». As other mentioned, there is the automatic tip they added to the bbq grill table. Honestly this is the best location in South Florida!

Came here for AYCE lunch. It was okay and for the price, you get what you pay for. I’m from the west coast so my standards for korean bbq are quite high. The service was good for the most part. I had to re-order a couple of things, seemed like they forgot my requests. The ban chan buffet was superb though. Don’t go here for the sushi… rolls are comparable to grocery store sushi. Iced green tea was yummy & the yogurt drink at the end was a nice touch.

We visited Izziban for some Korean BBQ. We had previously tried what we thought was Korean BBQ before only to get subpar service and bland food. Let me tell you this was definitely not the experience at Izziban! The staff was extremely hepful and the ambiance was awesome. This was our first time grilling at the table since the other location didn’t have this option; being newbies I would suggest using a grill topper(they have this available if you need it); it really helped control the grill making it easy to cook. Oh desert options available including one of my favorites FRIEDICECREAM :) Izziban is all you can eat worth trying!

AYCE Korean BBQ takes your dining experience to a unique and entertaining level! Grilling your own speciality meats at your table while being able to enjoy each other’s company is not like your everyday meal out! Izziban was very easy to find and has plenty of parking around the restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and taken to our table. Not busy at all on a Wednesday Night. They offer Happy Hour from 11am-12:30pm for Lunch and 3pm-7pm for Dinner Monday thru Sunday! BOGO Beer Special for all Drafts with Mix&Match! The inside of the restaurant is bright and modern with a nice layout. They have a good size fully stocked bar, sushi bar, and tables throughout! TV’s are around the entire restaurant, we loved watching the Korean Music Videos! Lol Once we ordered our drinks we were off to the fully stocked buffet! Items on were Make Your Own Lettuce Wraps– Ingredients for Lettuce Wraps(Mushrooms, Kimchi, Jalapeños, Vegetables, etc.) — Assorted Salads– Seaweed Salad– About 5 Different Sushi Rolls– and the Best Part Sauces! We love sauces so seeing that they have a nice assortment of about 10 different sauces that was a bonus! My favorite being the Kimchi Hot Sauce! Now at this part they have other menu items that you can order from your server which are also included in the AYCE. Items such as Soups, Rangoon’s, Spring Rolls, and a list of Sushi. We decided to skip this part and dig into the meat first to revisit later! You can order as much or as little as you want at a time but be careful as to not order too much or you will get hit with an additional $ 19.99 if one(1) pound is not consumed! MEATS! We tried about all of them with a couple of them being ordered two and three times each! Most to all were very good quality cuts of meat having little to no fat. My top three favorites being the Beef Tongue– Marinated Spicy Chicken– Marinated Short Rib! The aroma coming from the grill is mouthwatering! Keep in mind that the more marinated meats you order the more smoke and char is going to be created. They will change your grill for you at any time! All you have to do is ask; we changed ours atleast a half a dozen times! Tip: You WILL come out smelling like Korean BBQ so don’t wear your Sunday’s Best! The Air Ventilation is not very great creating a lot of smoke and smell. We almost forgot about the extras you can order! Half way through our meal we all decided to order a couple of things from the menu. The Clear Soup had very little flavor, the Miso Soup was decent served with lots of little Tofu cubes at the bottom. The Rangoon’s were actually really good and generously filled! Now for the Sushi we ordered from the menu it was not very good at all making getting it from the buffet the better option. Seems pretty odd and seems to also be the theme as I have read others say the same. Weird??! But I have no issue with making the short couple of steps to the array of Sushi Rolls on the buffet! Overall, we had such a great experience and fun night! We ate SOMUCH food we were literally full for daysss! This is a great spot to go with friends or a group of people. I was so grateful our friends that we went with had been before and knew all the ins and outs! We will definitely be back to indulge again! Bring Your Empty Stomach!!!

Three. four star review. It’s pretty wild how many new Korean restaurants have popped up in the last decade since I had left south Florida. I think during that time there were maybe only two? three at the most that I’ve seen? Now there’s a good handful. This was the first all you can eat that I had gone to down here and it was a surprise. The interior is pretty big with bright neon lights and there’s a lot of seating available. Unlike the other Korean spots in south Florida these guys actually offer the grill where you can cook your own meat. They had everything from sam gyup sal to galbi and everything in between. The quality of the meat isn’t the highest, but if you’re looking to get stuffed then this is the place to go. So I think I had two kinds of pork bellie where one was marinated in wine. The galbi or the beef BBQ ribs weren’t bad. They could have been marinated a little longer but I’m not sure if that would have made them taste better. The chicken was a little dry even if you didn’t leave it on the grill for long. There was also some pork and beef sirloin which wasn’t bad either. In addition to that they did have a buffet table which I didn’t really get anything from. They had some shrimp which we ended up cooking on the grill and the crab ragoon wasn’t bad either. Thee bap, rice was on the light side when they serve it to you in the bowl. So if you’re an Asian craving rice you might actually want to order two bowls. There was some sushi but I didn’t really try any of that. The menu is quite large to be honest. Having lived in New York for years and having gone to Los Angeles numerous times, I’d have to say that I’ve had much better but probably a tad bit more expensive? To be honest, I’m not sure. I feel like I’ve spent the same amount of money that was spent at Izziban Sushi &BBQ but receiving hire quality. But the hostess was super nice, our waitress ajumma was super nice, and the staff all around seemed like they did their best to help you right away. Even though this place isn’t down near Miami or in any prime location, it’s nice to have a new option and probably the only option for all you can eat Korean BBQ in south Florida. If I’m ever in town again, I’d probably hit this place up to try the rest of the large menu.

3 ½ stars for me. I liked Izziban but did not love it. I am certainly no expert at Korean BBQ, but I much preferred R.O.K. nearby, which is also AYCE but at R.O.K, you do not cook at your table. We went to Izziban for our traditional Jewish Christmas Eve dinner and it was practically empty. Yes, it has always been a tradition in my family to go for Asian food on Christmas Eve. This stems from the days when the only restaurants open on Christmas Eve were Chinese. I see there are many more types of places open these days on Christmas Eve, but the Asian tradition continues. We started with the salad which I found very disappointing. It had a variety of Korean side items however none of them were labeled. I knew what a coupe of the items were and I tried a few. But I have to admit that without guidance from a server, I really did not know much of what I was eating! There were some mussels and peel & eat shrimp which just did not look too appetizing to me. There were only two sushi rolls and 2 types of sashimi on the bar. One of the rolls was filled with a surimi mix. I can’t recall the exact type the other roll was but it was better, with salmon on the outside. On the menu there are several other rolls you can order that come with the AYCE. I tried the spicy tuna. It was not the best spicy tuna I have had. I then splurged with the Crunchy Salmon, a tempura salmon roll with avocado, and this was much better. With the AYCE you can also order Miso or Clear Soup, Spring Rolls, or Rangoon but we concentrated on the meat and sushi. Funny, the first thing our server brought out was a bowl of green salad. It was a bowl of lettuce with a brown dressing that did not look appetizing. No one at the table even tried it. We were a party of three adults and three kids so the adults took a grill and the kids took their own grill. We were pretty lost when it came to how many portions of meat to order. Our server was lovely but gave us absolutely no guidance. We were very conscience that it said on the menu that you would be charged for leftovers, «½ lb of leftover = $ 19.99». We must have done okay ordering on the first round because we then ordered a bit more. Meat we tried: Beef Brisket-not good, dry Marinated Spicy Pork-very flavorful but with quite a kick. Per 11 year old this was a «must have»(but only for palettes that like heat) Marinated Chicken-good, although the pieces are pretty thin & small Fresh Pork Belly-ok Marinated Sirloin-the best meat I had. The marinade was a little sweet but it was tasty. Ribeye-very good There are other seafood and a la carte items you can add for an extra charge but we stuck to the AYCE at $ 29.99/per person, $ 9.99 kids,($ 19.99 lunch). We did splurge on dessert: Tempura Ice Cream, Tempura Banana, Chocolate Molten Lava, Mochi Ice Cream, Patbingsu. All of the desserts were very good except for the Patbingsu which I sent back. Maybe it was partly my fault. I misread the description and I was expecting it to have snow ice instead of shaved ice(reminiscent of Patbingsoo at Paris Morning Bakery). Instead the shaved ice was rock hard and flavorless. The ice cream had a funky flavor. The manager came over and suggested I mix the whole concoction together but I was not buying it. It just seemed that something was missing at Izziban, including the cutlery at the table. Yes, I had to get up to get to get cutlery from the salad bar! Still, we seemed to be missing steak knives. It also would have been nice to have more accompaniments at the table. Maybe some rice? Oh well! The meat was okay. The sushi was fair. It was fun, especially for the kids to cook at the table. The manager was very nice. He came over to make sure everything was okay and gave us a card for a free dessert on our next visit. Not my favorite place, but if friends or family want to go back, I would consider a future visit.

I’ve visited the Orlando location several times, and actually, the last time I was there was when I discovered they were opening in South Florida. We waited a bit after they opened to give them some time to work out any kinks, but we finally made a visit. The salad bar was ok, definitely something different than the Orlando one. It actually has all the ban chan(side dishes) that you get at Korean restaurants, so the servers don’t bring it out to you. There’s also some sushi and nigiri, which changes based on what the sushi chefs want to make. And some fruit. I honestly didn’t get much from it, just a few sushi pieces and fruit. If the higher price here is due to the salad bar, I’d be happier without it. We ordered lots of the meats: regular pork belly, wine pork belly, beef brisket, rib eye, and bulgogi. Two or more times, actually. I was curious about the wine pork belly since I hadn’t seen that anywhere else. VERY wine-y, so I like the regular one better. I’d say we all got our fill, and all the food tasted great. Then again, KBBQ is one of my faves, so I’m always a fan. We received great and quick service on both times I’ve visited. First time was pretty quiet, so it was probably easy to give us attention. The second time was for a friend’s birthday dinner, and we were quite a crowd. It was a little busier than the first visit, but our server still checked on us and was very friendly. We had 3 grills going with the number of people in our party, and she made sure to check on all 3 groups to ask if we needed more or wanted a grill change. She was very patient with us at the end too, when we all wanted to do split checks. I think it’s the most expensive KBBQ I’ve paid for, so that’s a little downer, but just make sure you eat your money’s worth!

All you can eat is truly all you can eat. For $ 29.99, you get a unlimited to the salad bar which has traditional Korean sides, sushi, rolls, vegetables(for the grill), shrimp and mussels. You also get unlimited soup, choice of 13 different sushi rolls and unlimited meats(13 different kinds). Talk about selection overload. My advice is to start slow with a few choices and order more if hungry because they charge for unfinished food. Oh and make room for dessert!!! This was the best part of the meal. The dessert menu is 2 sided and omg delicious!!! I think I added photos of the entire menu. Excellent service from our server. I did give Izziban 4 stars instead of 5 is because the meat is bland, not seasoned as I am used to. You may need to bring your own seasoning, I know I will the next time I visit. The tables are tiny for 6 people. I would say the tables comfortably fit 4 adults and 1 on the end, not 6.

After trying Izziban three times, I have come to the conclusion that this place is only OK. I had the all you can eat Korean BBQ the first two times and only came back this evening with the intention to try the a la carte. However, with a closer look at the menu selection I reluctantly settled to do the all you can eat again. Here’s why: My previous experiences had told me that Korean is primary here and sushi is secondary. I had that in mind as I searched the regular menu for a Tofu or Kimchi soup as my entrée. None. I did notice a picture of a tofu soup on the ayce menu as an add on for $ 3.99. I asked the server if I could request that as an entrée and was told no it was only as an add on for the ayce. Not cool nor accommodating. I also asked if seafood pancake was available. He didn’t know what that was, but went to ask the kitchen. When he returned, he said no. The conclusion kicked in(along with my disappointment): this is not a true Korean Restaurant. After trying really hard to find something to order on the menu, it was to either leave(couldn’t do it. would just be way too rude) or do the ayce. Really wasn’t in the mood for the items on the menu like ramen, an $ 18 bibimbap, katsu or from what I’ve tasted from their salad bar/buffet table — below average sushi. So the $ 29.99 ayce it was. In my opinion only the marinated meats(beef, short ribs, spicy pork and chicken) were good. The rest were too plain and simply not worthwhile. The salad bar was not impressive and limited to items like seaweed salad, lettuce for wrapping, kimchi, shrimp and some sushi/sashimi. Again, don’t go here for the sushi because it’s really buffet quality sushi. I really needed something better to balance out all the meat. The service is only ok. The server seemed young and inexperienced. He made the assumption that we were doing the ayce straight from the beginning and kind of left us hanging for a while before we got a chance to ask for regular menus. Every time he came back to check on us, he only addressed the bf. Even after I paid, when he came back with the card, he gave it to the bf. An automatic 18% gratuity was stacked on as well for a party of two. I left here feeling full, but not satisfied. I don’t think I will be back. There are better choices(and authentic too) out there for Korean BBQ and better service for $ 29.99 a person.

I moved back to Florida after living in LA for 4 years where there is literally a korean bbq(kbbq) restaurant on every corner in Korea town. I’m so glad Izziban opened up because previously when I’d visit Florida there was no AYCE kbbq. And if you’ve never tried AYCE kbbq, you HAVE to check this place out! Izziban may be a unique Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant, but it is still on par with most kbbq restaurants in LA and even better. Most AYCE kbbq restaurants just give you a bowl of salad and some side dishes. But Izziban offers a full salad bar, thirteen different sushi rolls, and good variety of meat that is all-you-can-eat for only $ 29.99(dinner)! Such a good deal, and the quality is great! Where else are you going to find such a bargain?! And if you aren’t hungry enough for all-you-can-eat, Izziban does offer a regular menu with Japanese and Korean entrées! Another thing that makes this restaurant so unique to South Florida and to other kbbq restaurants I’ve visited is that it has a fully stocked bar! From hard liquor to beer this place has it all, even my favorite: Chamisul Fresh(Soju), which goes down smoothly with the meat! Or you can drink some cocktails at the bar and order some appetizers or sushi! The new owners have done a really great job at renovating the restaurant because before it looked like the building was going to fall apart! Also, kudos to them for introducing quality AYCEKBBQ and Sushi to SoFlo!

You know me. I’m always looking for the best new spot to stuff my face with all you can eat food. And I’m so glad I’ve found Izziban. I’ve only tried their all you can eat options here because I haven’t felt the need to order anything else. They have two sets of all you can eat menus. Their $ 30/person set is their dinner set that includes all cuts of meat(boneless short rib, rib eye steak, marinated short ribs, beef tongue, marinated chicken, spicy chicken, pork belly, wine pork belly, spicy pork, beef brisket, marinated pork). The late night menu(also available for lunch until 5pm) is $ 20 and starts at 10pm and runs until close. This menu doesn’t give you the prime cuts(short rib, rib eye, beef tongue) but you get everything else. The all you can eat gives you unlimited access to their salad/sushi bar, so make sure you arrive hungry! They have a good sake and soju list too to help wash down all the protein. They change out the grill tops frequently and are very attentive to your every need(refilling waters, asking if you’d like to order more sushi rolls, etc.). I will have to take off one star though because unlike most other Korean BBQ places, Izziban doesn’t have vents over their tables. This means don’t come in your best attire because you will end up smelling like MEAT. However, if that’s what you’re going for before hitting up the bars or clubs, then by all means, have it at. I’m sure you’ll attract both hungry guys and hungry ladies, but hey, at least you’ll have game that night. Hahaha!

Having tried the two Izziban locations in Orlando, I was quite dissapointed with my experience at this particular location. Our server was definitely new and not very experienced. He was nice but he definitely needed more training on the menu. My friend and I tried the lunch buffet for $ 19.99. I realize that the pictures displayed on the menu will not look exactly like what is served to you. But why would you have sirloin steak with onions in a photo and not serve onions? It’s a little odd to me. Anyways the sirloin steak was nicely marinated but the meat they served us was fatty. You could tell that the quality wasn’t up to par. There was also a shrimp roll that we ordered which had a weird mayo sauce. Details really do matter especially if you have other locations that are opened under the same name. This location just didnt meet my expectations to my previous experiences with the other franchises. If I decide to come back I would really have to think it over. There’s definitely too much a hype for this place when it hasn’t really delivered to be a 5 star location.

Tl;dr version is: doesn’t live up to the hype created by other locations. Food is really blah for lunch, so if you go… opt for the dinner options and don’t expect stellar service and don’t expect good/decent sushi. If you want to experience Korean BBQ for the first time or just want to have a good meal, go to Gabose because you won’t be disappointed there. I absolutely love Korean BBQ and was really excited to try this place, but left dissatisfied and a little queezy. My friend has been to the one in Orlando and told me the Orlando location is much better than this one. The lunch and dinner buffet have different meat options and you can upgrade to the dinner buffet during lunch. Two of us came in for lunch and decided to stick to the lunch buffet… big mistake there! The dinner buffet seems to have better meat options(like galbi) and I would recommend that you try dinner if you ever go because lunch is going to disappoint you. Also note that you need to eat what you order or face a penalty of $ 29.99 per half pound of leftovers. We were in the mood for beef and tried the two options on the lunch menu: marinated sirloin and brisket. The sirloin was decently marinated, but it was really fatty and some pieces were not appetizing at all. The brisket was fine, but we were given a single, salty dipping sauce versus a variety of sauces and it didn’t exactly pair well with the brisket(they definitely needed some sesame oil with lemon in there!) I would just stay away from the sushi… it was some of the poorest sushi I have ever had. The Yummi Yummi roll was okay, but it was falling apart from being drowned in sauce. The Crunch Shrimp roll was disgusting and made me nauseated… I had to force that roll down. Steer clear and stay away from it! Service was okay, our server was nice, but he was a little slow with filling drinks and getting napkins and seemed a little unsure of himself. He also didn’t seem to have a firm grasp of the food he was serving and didn’t offer to clean our grill until we were essentially done with our meal. He was nice and tried, but didn’t make our experience any better. Overall, I left extremely disappointed and would never come back for lunch again. This place does not cut it or live up to the hype or standard created by its other locations. There are much better alternatives available to you around town.

I’ve been here twice now. I love the DIY Korean BBQ thing at Gabose, so i was excited to see there was another option in town with the same idea. Lunch is $ 20pp and dinner is $ 30pp. There is an 18% gratuity included in the check. For dinner, there is a salad bar with more options than lunchtime has. Already made pieces of sushi rolls and negiri, shrimp, scary looking mussels, seaweed salad, and a small banchan(Korean side dishes) to enjoy your grilled carnage with. By the way, they bring a salad to the table and their dressing is so amazingly delicious. It’s so simple, but I really love it! Once your grill is heated, about ten minutes, you’re ready to put the plates of raw meat you’ve selected on! Be careful not to get overly excited and over crowd the grill– you definitely want to achieve that caramelization. The waitress will continue to bring u whatever your choice meat may be, all you do is ask! Beware, the spicy chicken is insanely spicy! Service is ok– but nothing too memorable. Food experience is fun– and great for a group!

Tl;dr: If you’ve never tried korean bbq and are thinking about it, I highly recommend coming here. If you like buffets(or AYCE — all you can eat joints) and need a protein fix, come here. If you have a mouth with working tastebuds — come here. :D Came here this past weekend with friends for the boy and my birthday celebration. :D(Back-to-back birthdays ftw!) Also, for background, I have been dying to have a *good* AYCEBBQ in the SoFlo area because I cannot afford monthly trips to LA’s K-town to devour their K-BBQ restaurants. So, all of my notes are coming from a true k-bbq aficionado. We went for the evening«late» special(10pm+ for 19.99 per person). The menu available hosts pretty much all their meats except for the kalbi/galbi(or short ribs). So if you want to have the short ribs, you’ll have to stick with their full menu(29.99 per person). NOTE: The boy and I are def coming back to devour said short ribs. –HOWTHISWORKS– MEATS You order whichever meats you want. The meats come out raw, you grill, and you eat. Some meats are marinated, some aren’t. There’s always salt/pepper/sesame oil/hot sauce on the table. Use the sesame oil. Pair it with the«hot» sauce(which is really mild and a bit sweet). You will love me for this. My group? We EMPTIED the 2 sesame oil bottles and had to ask for refills(lollll. we are fatties, what can I say?). Also, the bottles are super cute. But anyway. You can pour the oil/sauce onto the meats as they’re grilling(brain, meet explosion). Or you can pour it out, mix it up, and then dunk your meat in when it’s done(that’s what she said! ;D). Also, if things get smoky or your grill gets a ton of burnt residue, be sure to remind your server(if they’re busy) about changing the grill — although ours was pretty good about keeping an eye on ours and offering to change it. SUSHIROLLS In addition to the AYCE meats selection, there are rolls you can order. Most of them are descriptive, i.e., spicy salmon, spicy tuna, crunch salmon. If you like spicy/tuna, def go with the spicy tuna roll. It will burn(in a good way). My personal fav was the crunch salmon roll, which is actually deep-fried(surprised me, thought it’d just be crunchy tempura flakes), but it was oh-so delicious. SIDES They also have a «sides» bar. I love this. I love being able to get my lettuce leaves and mushrooms/etc. when I want. I’m a Type A personality type, and when I want stuff, I gun for it. So… gimme those washed up refreshing lettuce leaves so that I may wrap them tenderly around my perfectly grilled meat.(This reads almost like a raunchy TV ad. #^^# blushing emote haha.) –FAVMEATS– As a table of 8, we must have ordered well over 30 plates of meat. We were there past midnight(2+ hours). Crowd favs were plates that were repeatedly ordered and are(in no particular order): + BEEFBRISKET: Seriously, get this. It’s practically paper thin, grills up quickly, goes down easily, and is so delicious when feasted upon with sesame oil and hot sauce; total group favorite + MARINATEDSPICYPORK: This is spicy AND sweet. It is of the deliciousness. I would order until my tastebuds committed seppuku. lol + MARINATEDSIRLOIN: Soooo good. Just do it. I will say that the pork belly was all right. It wasn’t something I was dying for, being as that the BB, MSP and MS were so delicious. So, the pork belly kind of sat ignored after a while with our table-mates. –SERVICE&DRINKS– It was busy when we went, so the waiters were running around, but attention and service were always on point. Our waitress was sweet enough to answer our group’s bazillion questions. Water is in a plastic container, which you can top off your own cup with. This is typical in LA — to the reviewer that said it looked cheap. It’s actually quite«authentically» Asian, lol. Again, being a Type A person, I prefer this method. So that when I’m running low on water, I can just ask the waiter to refill the bottle. Green Tea, if you like it, is $ 2 for AYCD(per person). I recommend it. It’s delicious and helped to settle the food so that I could eat more… lol. –DESSERT– They have a beautiful dessert menu. We had the Cappuccino something or other. Basically cappuccino ice cream, mousse of some kind and something else? We also had an order of just green tea ice cream(because I love matcha/green tea anything). Service was wonderful; the 2 desserts were on the house in celebration of the boy and my birthdays. :) So yeah. 5⁄5 stars. Go for it. I know I’ll be heading back soon! Now, I just need to run ~600 miles to burn off the calories… haha.

Sorry Izziban, you didn’t do it for me! :(I’m no expert on Korean BBQ, but being able to compare this place to two other well known KBBQ places in the area made it easy to spot their flaws. We arrived at 7pm on a Wednesday night. The place was busy, but not to the point of us having to wait for a table. Must say that every other table(except one) was all Asian. FOOD Ok, so let’s start with the«salad bar». This area consisted of the sides you’d normally find with KBBQ. A bit annoying that I had to go up to get my lettuce leaves, kimchee etc, but that’s fine. No biggie. The table was a bit small, so I guess picking my own sides vs. the staff filling up the table with things I don’t want is a better system here. Up next on the salad bar you’ll find a «raw bar» consisting of peel and eat shrimp and mussels. The shrimp seemed like more work than I wanted to sign up for, and a fellow dining companion said he didn’t think they were that fresh. Final stop, sushi by the piece. These pieces were ok, better than the sushi I ordered directly from the sushi bar, but we’ll get to that. When we first sat down a small sample plate of kimchee, pickled cabbage and pickled radish were brought out. I guess these are sides that they don’t have on the salad bar, so we ordered more of these directly from the server. So, let’s talk BBQ. 4 of us, so we were encouraged to pick ~4 meats to start(and not further clutter the table). We started with spicy pork, pork belly, prime rib eye, beef tongue and short ribs. No complaints about the meats, but the short rib was by far the best of the bunch(great marinade). We did order additional plates of the meats, but didn’t try anything other than what I already listed. I felt like the amount that came out per plate was decent for the 4 of us eating at a time. Sushi bar — at this point we were pretty full, but our server encouraged us to try everything possible and order a roll from the sushi bar. There were about 10 roll options, most of which had crazy names and no description, so I annoyingly had to ask the server to describe each and every roll to me lol. We settled on the Yummi Yummi which was a shrimp tempura something. Probably one of the worst sushi rolls I’ve had in a while lol, not due to ingredients but because it came out hot, not cold, and it barely stuck together. PRICING Dinner pricing(5 — 10pm) is $ 29.99 pp and includes — *the salad bar *ordering sushi rolls *a few starter options(soups, spring rolls, rangoons etc) *AYCE meats(probably about 12 or so options of pork/beef/chicken). If you want any seafood options you’ll be paying more and racking up a HUGE bill. SERVICE This was probably the best thing about the place. Our server was enthusiastic and friendly, as was the hostess that showed us to the table. They seemed bubbly and excited to work. Perhaps noobs to the serving world, some flaws did show through, but their personalities made up for this. They did also come around and switch our grill top half way through dinner when it started to get dirty. I thought this was a nice touch and ensured our meat didn’t just get covered in char. AMBIANCE Well, I hated it lol. I hate that cheesy, flashy lights, over the top water in vases with lights, type of sushi place, and well this is what you’ll find here. Tables are spaced a bit too far apart, maybe for fire hazard reasons, but it made the space feel a bit empty and not properly planned out. Also, no ventilation above the grill space means you’ll leave smelling like BBQ. When the check came at the end we noticed 18% gratuity was already added. Will I be back? Probably not to do BBQ. They do have a non BBQ menu(which I didn’t see) but presumably it has bulgogi, bibimbap etc.

Went here with a large group of friends for the AYCE dinner where you cook right on the table top. Izziban does take reservations if you call in advance. Very spacious, clean, and can cater to large parties. The All You Can Eat KBBQ and sushi dinner experience at Izziban is $ 29.99 per person, plus an 18% gratuity automatically added to your bill. You tell your server which meats you want to eat, and they bring you plates of the raw meat, which you cook directly on the hot grill at your table. By the end of your meal, your clothes WILL smell delicious! Your choices of protein are listed on the menu, and some of my personal favorites include: boneless short rib, marinated short ribs(galbi), beef tongue, fresh pork belly, wine pork belly, beef brisket, and marinated spicy pork(bulgolgi). Do allot at least 1.5−2 hours for your meal, because it does take time for all of your meats to cook, especially if you have a large party. Your price also includes the buffet area, which includes different vegetables to cook with your meats, fried rice and noodles, and different sushi rolls and sashimi slices. You can also order sushi through your server, as well as soups, spring rolls, and rangoon. I DO suggest trying the rangoon, they are perfectly fried and have a pleasantly sweet cream cheese filling inside. Service is fast and attentive. The tables are a bit small for the overall dining experience. There is little room for your own eating space since the grill takes up most of the table, but it’s still manageable. I did feel like some things were lacking at Izziban, as compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants. There is a lack of side dishes provided(tofu, salad, and even kimchee) especially since the price of dinner is on the pricier side. I also wanted more variety of vegetables, but I just filled up on the many proteins they do generously provide. It’s a different, but solid, Korean BBQ restaurant. I definitely would recommend and will be returning to in the future.

This is a old location but newly renovated and under new ownership. The new bar area is very chic and fun. Though they don’t have a full liquor license yet, they can sell sake and beer for now. Our server was very friendly and attentive. You can order a La cart or opt for the yakiniku all you can eat option. The AYCE includes all the meat choices such as marinated short ribs, prime rib, beef tongue, pork belly, spicy pork, marinated beef tenderloin and more. You can also get lobster tail($ 15) or a seafood combo($ 30) in addition. The AYCE also comes with the sushi bar which has limited options and was not as inviting as I had hoped. It also has lettuce, mushrooms, garlic cloves and spicy bean sprouts. Once we ordered, the server began bringing plates and plates of raw meat. Theres an electric grill at each table and you cook the meat yourselves. When you’re done, simply order another plate. Everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite was the short ribs which are tender and well marinated. Just make sure to cook everything thoroughly to be safe and pay attention to flip so things don’t get charred. It’s a bit expensive but good for a big group gathering.
