Okay… i have been a fan of chicken kitchen since day one. I go here at least once a week after my workouts for some yummy grilled chicken… I love their yellow rice, and lettuce. The problem I have with this place is the tomatoes. Please keep an eye out on the tomatoes. When I was here 2 months ago, before he pour the tomatoes on my plate I noticed a white fussy furry thing on the tomatoes that looked like mold. I asked to speak to the manager and addressed her on the mold on the tomatoes. Unfortunately, she decided to argue that they were just diced«fresh tomatoes». I know what fresh tomatoes taste like, because when I’m home and have time to cook I put tomatoes on almost everything. Today is Wednesday October 7th, 2015. I ordered my regular deluxe chop chop. As I’m getting ready to eat and put the sauce over the meal, I noticed a bitter smell. Which was weird, so I tasted the tomatoes and yet again the tomatoes tasted spoiled. Please make sure you keep an eye out or don’t get the tomatoes at all if they look or smell funny. These are not always fresh!

Use to eat here back in the day, now it’s terrible! Chicken & Rice was dry, guacamole tasted bad and lettuce looked old. Short staff and very bad customer service! Never again!

Chicken Kitchen is either a love it or hate it place it seems– especially this location. For me, it’s ok, just ok. Not too great, but not too bad either. I feel like Chicken Kitchen gets a lot of flack for not being Chipotle, but Chicken Kitchen does a lot more than Chipotle. Here you can get multiple different chops, wraps, half chicken and even and more. What I like about Chicken Kitchen is that it can be a lot healthier than my Chipotle ever could be. The chop chops– the bowls are decent. The biggest flaw I see in them is that they’re so full of yellow rice. Too much starch, but otherwise not bad. I actually enjoy the chicken. It’s always fresh here. The staff here is really friendly and the location is pretty clean. They individually package the sauces which is always pretty annoying to me. I miss the days when you could just pump your own sauces, but its more cost efficient for them. I get it. A meal will cost you under $ 10 which is always a good thing and the portions are more than enough. I like it here, but don’t really crave it like many other different foods. Seemingly healthy and cheap. What more can you ask for?

Poor service and when I purchased a order of 12 wings they were a mess because the cook tore them off the grill leaving the skin on the grill surface. When I asked the manager would you feed this to your family she replied fries or no fries. Only in South Florida. Skip this joint and spend your money on food worth eating.

So I went to eat here because I really liked this place when I was in high school. Maybe I was stupid in high school? The plate looked great. Looked… The chicken was dry and the awesome cilantro sauce and mustard curry sauce couldn’t save it. The lettuce and tomato were pretty fresh, good stuff, but it’s called CHICKEN Kitchen! Where’s my awesome chicken that I had in high school? And the pita… oh the pita… I remember wayyy back then I would take a bite and just thank the heavens for pita. Today I took a bite and I was like what is this? Pita crackers? It tastes like someone opened a bag of pitas and left them out on the counter for a week. How do I know what that tastes like? When I was in college I bought a bag of pitas, opened them and ate one then I forgot about them for about a week… lol So yes, a lot of traveling back in time today. Not all of them good. Is this a place for a quick bite to eat? Yeah, the food is… you know… fast food quality. The price is ok, I spent 11 bucks total. I got the low card chop chop(no rice) that came with one pita but I got two extra pitas and then I got a bottle of juice. Btw, mango carrot juice sounds all sorts of funky but it actually tasted really good! Not sure it’s «real» juice though, because I definitely tasted a whole lot of funky delicious sugar. You know how it is, if it tastes that wonderful and gets your inner child all tingly, it’s probably not healthy. Time to say goodbye to my high school memories and move on to better«real» restaurants for the big boys. But I’ll probably come back to Chicken Kitchen time and again just to remind myself stupidity is a choice.

A no go for me. Didn’t enjoy my lunch. Chicken = no flavor and dry Beans and rice = we’re good while they were warm Garlic sauce = no worries about vampires for a year or so Mustard curry sauce = sprinkle dry curry into yellow mustard and wallah

Agree with everybody else about the dryness of the chicken and the UN-welcoming staff. They have the worst guacamole ever, can’t even call it Gaucamole, it was blend-green paste. Very overpriced for the quality you get. The chop chop comes with half a pita bread, and trust me… It’s harder than cement. I don’t get why are they still open. Not coming back there for sure.

Nothing special about this place. Not to mention it’s very over-priced. I usually get the Cuban chop-chop, and the chicken is almost always dry. The people that work in here are. strange. Especially the young Spanish guy that prepares the food and chops the chicken. He laughs for no reason at all, like when I ask for sour cream. Why? On the up-side, the rice and beans are good and so is the cilantro garlic sauce. Other than that, I’d rather drive 20 minutes to go to Chipotle instead.

This place is alright for a quick meal. They have plenty of chicken cooked ahead of time that you get your food pretty fast. Downside: food is sometimes or most of the time lukewarm/cold. I always get either the original or deluxe chop chop(the original with lettuce and tomato) and ask to keep the skin on. Yeah, I know I totally ruined the point of a semi — healthy meal but let’s be honest the best part of chicken is the crispy, seasoned skin. So yeah, that happens. I also get either the garlic cilantro or curry sauce, both of which are scrumptious. If they bottled either, I would totally buy it. I would say the 3 stars are mainly for the sauces because the chicken is just okay. And cold. But drenched in garlic cilantro, well I ain’t mad at it.

Nothing against this specific location but this was my first time try Chicken Kitchen and I was not impressed. I had the Cuban Chop chop substituted the chicken for Chipotle chicken and got an order of 6 count wings. You really couldn’t taste the chipotle flavor on the chicken. The meal was just really plain no flavors stood out. Wouldn’t eat it again way over priced for what it is.

First time here in a couple of years. I walked in and the employees didn’t acknowledge me as I walked in. Didn’t smile once while I was there. I ordered a teriyaki chicken wrap. It was the nastiest, most soggy wrap I’ve ever had. I walked in because they advertise«healthy» chicken options. The quality of this chicken was below a mall Chinese restaurant. Zero flavor. Could not taste any teriyaki sauce and the thing was dripping with it. I ended up not even finishing it because of how gross it was. Only came with rice and chicken on it, they charge extra for lettuce and cheese. For the same price, I can go to chipotle and get a bigger burrito with 20x better quality chicken and veggies. I will not be returning and I recommend people do not try this place. It’s a waste of money.

The reviews for this place are TERRIBLE. It was GREAT for me! My kids and I ate dinner for less than $ 10. What are you expecting? The tables were clean, and the employees were all super nice to me, maybe because, «Yo soy una gringa, pero yo hablo un poquito espanol?» You know all the old Spanish men love that! I love this place. Food was fresh, tasty and the price was write. Muy deicioso!

Sorry but what bit these people? I know you cant expect much in the way of service in S Florida but this place was the most chearless service I record having in a long while. It brings you down being around long-faced people and this what everyone looked like… including the customers. Anyway, food was bleh! tasteless — I had the Pita-Pocket and my wife the Wrapito. We also had some salsa dip, which tasted like nothing. Sorry people, I was not impressed. Habing said all that, food seemed fresh and was prepared right in front of us, which is a plus.

Very poor customer service, I called to place an order, the man was very rude, told me it would take 2 hrs for my food, Spoke to the manager, she wasn’t very helpful at all, instead they called me a liar! What happen to treating the person that’s paying right and customer is always right… When the guy finally took my order he wouldn’t listen and keep just being very rude… I use to call this place all the time and now it’s just sucks! I can’t believe how rude the employers are now and how they didn’t very want any money…

Disappointed! Chipotle Chop was rather bland. I thought the yellow rice had more flavor than the chicken. Tables were not bussed. And the restroom…(Let me just say I have never commented on a restroom before… I’ll leave it at that.). It does make one wonder…

Cheap but boring. We got there and there was no one, and I mean zip, zero, zilch other people, yet almost every table was dirty. We were not impressed.

Was here once before and the food was decent and fairly inexpensive. The food was cooked to order and the portion size was good. Went back again a few months later and now the food is ehh, the place was super slow, it was dirty, and the portion size was ok but not much for your money. I ordered the Teriyaki Chop-Chop and all that was on the plate was yellow rice and some chicken. I remember there being more toppings and it resembling more of a salad on top. The tables weren’t cleaned(it wasn’t busy at all, the staff was just standing around chatting) the floors were dirty and the bathrooms were disgusting. I was definitely not impressed with the food or the atmosphere and will not be returning or recommending this place to my friends.

Went here yesterday its nothing special about this place. It was clean and the food was good but the staff was ok but wasn’t that friendly. They didn’t great or welcome me when I walked in. They just seemed like they were just there for a paycheck and nothing more. I would give them a better rating if their staff showed more interest in helping the customers.

This is a decent place to grab a quick lunch. I got the Mexican CHOP-CHOP here which had chopped grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and yellow rice. For $ 10, the dish was quite plain tasting; not that much chicken and the rice was under cooked. Well that’s pretty much all I have to say about this place, so I’m going to challenge anyone reading this to say«Chicken Kitchen» 10 times fast without messing up. Go.

Okay place to pick up a quick and healthy lunch. With a nice variety of chicken dishes there is something for everybody. Very tasty but a little pricey. The Chop Chop plates are good and filling. I stop by here when I am short on time. But I don’t go out of my way for this food.
