Interior Digs

This is my favorite secret in Fort Lauderdale (Lauderdale by the Sea). As a real estate agent, I’m always trying to find something different for my clients at the closing table and this place is it! They even shrink-​wrap everything in the most beautiful way at NO CHARGE so I present my gift in the most elegant way. They also let me have fun and explore. They don’t stick around me and constantly recommend items –I hate that! They let me pick and play with ideas and if I need help, they are great at helping me put something together. I cannot wait until Christmas so I can grab something for my own home!

On the outside, this quaint store is very interesting to discover what could be inside. The spirit of the holidays sweep over you as you get excited at the ability to find something special that may not be able to be found in commercial stores. What IS DISCOVERED after you enter this establishment is nothing but rudeness and unwillingness to help with information or suggestions on decorating for the particular holiday. They all seem to be preoccupied with orders placed before you enter by some rich clients that have thrown money at these people who don’t have any time for local shoppers who live here and want to enjoy the holidays as well. As someone who has lived in this town for the past twelve years, I will never set foot back into this store and ANYONE WHO I KNOW WILL BE RECOMMENDED THE SAME ADVICE. Being a businessman as well in the local community, if I EVER treated anyone like this that were my customers, I wouldn’t have any left. The same will occur here no matter how pretty the décor is.
