I have driven past this place a million times. But today I decided to go n and I’m so happy I did. Not only did I get to meet the owner Dan but he helped me pick out some great Moscato n Sake. I learned about Plum Sake which is absolutely delicious n they had a diverse group of Moscatos. I got 7 bottles for only $ 56, amazing. They have Pineapple, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Mango n many other flavors of Moscato that I never knew existed. If ur a wine lover treat yourself n check this place out n ask for Dan. He will hook u up w/the perfect bottle.

You know why I stopped here… BEER! If you read their sign, it actually says«Micro Brews». I drive by this place often, so I thought I’d stop in to see what they have. As I walked in, it sort of smelled like my grandma’s basement. They had a decent selection of wine, but the micro/craft beer selection was kind of sad. If you’re going to advertise that you have micro brews as part of your store sign, you need to have a good selection. I could go to several places that had a better selection, which isn’t saying much. The guys who worked there were nice & offered to help. The location is a little tough. It’s on a very busy part of Southfield Rd. I don’t think you can make a left out of the small parking area in front of the store, which probably isn’t safe anyways.

Well I haven’t bought anything more than a bag of chips or a pack of now and later’s but I know many people who come here. From what I have seen and heard, the owner(s)/employees are very friendly and are very kind to the customer. They have a large selection of wine and liquor. Also, I like how it’s always so clean which is always good. :) Another huge plus is that they help sponsor recreational events for the City of Lathrup Village. :) Stop on it, you’ll probably be impressed.: D

Okay I was deciding whether to put this out there, wondering if its better kept a secret or not. But I want this business to stay in business so for the betterment of the entire neighborhood here it is. A wonderfully stocked wine and liquor store. This shop’s prices are ridiculously low. If you like it and it comes in a bottle, more than likely its here and 4 – 5 dollars less… for example Chandon in brut, dry and extra dry can be found for 13.99 a bottle. Chardonnays, Merlot, French, and Spanish wines all have their own aisle. If you’re in a 10 dollar and under bottle mood, there they are, and some exceptional choices are here too. 20 – 40 dollar range you will find some very high quality choices for less. I have never seen prices for Patron, Grey Goose, or Stolis so low, even comparing it to Duty Free. If you do not see it, they will jot down what you mentioned and next time you come you will see it stocked and ready. Also they have a variety of olives, stuffed or plain and cheeses in bulk that you can package yourself. The owners are friendly and will POUR you a sample or let you nibble on something to see if you like it.
