Best wings in the Capital District. The other food is great also. Only a limitation in taps, 5 – 6, is what holds this place back. Could get a large screen instead of the projector. All the bartenders are quite attentive. A true gem in the rough.

I used to go here alot a few years ago with friends from work. The wings were really good then and still are today. I think this was the first time I’ve ever gone during the daytime for a quick lunch and I wouldn’t really recommend it. The place was just full degenerates drinking and betting on horses. Its kinda dingy inside but at least at night its dimly lit so you don’t have to see it. I was really hoping for a Turkey Reuben but they either took it off the menu or they never had one. I ended up getting the Appetizer Combo #2 of Potato Skins. Mozz Stick, and wings. It was mostly disappointing. The mozz sticks were average and the potato skins were bland and covered in grease. The only redeeming thing about it was the wings, so I would just stick with those next time. The best time to come is either during the week or after 2am on your way home from the bars. Its really chill then and you can just hang out, play darts, and bs.

The only reason why this gets two stars is because we came from Muddy’s karaōke night, which was possibly the most depressing thing in the world(arm waving during eclipse of my heart? I don’t think so pal). this place is next to an OTB, a CVS, and across the street from a Wendy’s and an Audi dealership. Not the greatest place for a bar. So you walk in. In the city this would probably be close to a dive, but it isn’t because of the restaurant portion and the actual tableclothed high tables on one side. It’s divided, you have back to back bars in the middle, which is awkward because I thought I was lookin in the mirror but actually you just are looking at whoever is at opposite bar. the right side has a set of booths for people to gather, and the left side, beyond some arcade games, has awkwardly placed tables and a dj booth in the back. This manboob concoction was spinning hardcore rap… in the most bland place ever. the crowd sucked, a lot of has been twentysomethings who for some reason didn’t make it down to downtown Albany this night and decided go local, go latham, go depressed. We even bumped into two former co-employees from high school movie theater stint. It was sufficiently awkward. there were two women sitting at one of the tables. I’m not sure why they were there, because they looked like they wanted to shoot themselves. Maybe they knew the DJ. Maybe they heard there was treasure here. I don’t know. 2 dollar coors light pints though.
