Saw Fogerty here recently when he was doing his run. I really enjoyed the theatre. It didn’t look like there was a bad seat in the house. Great sounds and lighting here. They even had the a/c on if you could believe it. All the bathroom facilities were down one hallway and a flight of stairs, so a knock off for that, but other than that it was easy to get in and out of here. Good venue/.

We were here a few times this month to see John Fogerty. This is a beautiful theater and the seats are very nice, sound system(a little too loud for me, but hey, John is a rocker!) and a/c were great. There are large screens up on either side of the stage so you can see everything close up. We sat in the mezzanine level twice and then the partier level, which is right below the mezzanine. Both were equally good spots. There is an elevator to the right when you walk into the lobby, if you choose not to take the stairs, but there is only one car, so don’t show up too close to showtime. Also, there is a bar on each level for a drink or some candy snacks. One tip is that the restrooms are about 2 flights down in the theater so make use of the ones near the casino, which is on the same level, and very nearby. Just be sure to bring your ticket with you, so that you can get back into the show. Overall, it was very easy getting in and out, and all of the ushers and ticket folks were friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and see another show at the Venetian Theatre.

Went here to see John Fogerty perform his classic CCR songs along with some of his solo songs. The theater was just fine. It was also air conditioned properly. I never got hot despite moving and groovin to the tunes. We were in the balcony, which was fine because they had large screens showing closeups. I was actually glad we were a little far away, because the music was loud. Like deafeningly loud if you were near the stage. Fogerty had great energy and really put on a show, despite looking like a combination between Renee Richards and Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner. He might want to cut his hair. Fogerty’s son was there playing with John, and he was impressive, as well. The only complaint about this place is the price of drinks. I ordered a Tanqueray martini, and it was $ 22. $ 22! Holy shit that was expensive.

Last night’s Diana Ross concert was everything we were hoping for and then some! She was great. Loved her gowns, loved her incredible voice, loved her energy… Only flaw was the sound system had glitches and Ms Ross was flustered but very professional in the way she handled the situation. This was a very special date night for my husband and I, you see, our very first date was her concert at Caesars Palace in 1980.

The Venetian Theatre is a beautiful venue for any kind of concert of Broadway style show. I’ve been in the theatre twice since it was the Phantom Theatre. Much of the Phantom design elements are still there except the eternal audience. The chandelier in the center of the theatre’s dome is a part of the one used in that famous seen from Phantom. Last night, I was in the theatre for the Brian Wilson and Friends Show. The show was being taped for broadcast next year on PBS. The only negative last night was the box office not being prepared for the hundreds of people who came to pick up their tickets at the appointed time. Unless you’re sitting way in the back, all seats give a good view of the stage and the performers. I am so glad the Venetian has retained this theatre. It was announced last night that the theatre would be used for more events like last night. It will be good if it gets used a lot!

This is a nice theater. It’s older than some of the other show places around the Strip, but it’s still nice. Most every seat is a decent seat. It has good sound quality. And the décor is interesting. I’m still not sure what those gargoyles /monsters were doing. But it certainly occupied my time until the show started.

This review is for the Venetian Theatre that is behind the main escalators that lead to/from the parking garage. Do not confuse this theatre with any of the other half-dozen or so on the Venetian/The Palazzo®/Sands Convention property. Making it even more disorientating, they have little handbills for all different theatres/shows at each respective box office, and sell tickets at all boxes as well to all the wide array of shows(including ones not taking place at that specific venue). So, for example, Panda is a new show opening in December 2013, but one could be easily confused if it is here, or at the Sands Showroom, or Rock of Ages(formerly, Blue Man Group) Theatre, or at The Palazzo® Theatre close to Zebra Lounge. In fact, I still do not really know where it is going to be.(Maybe no one does.) This Venetian Theatre is where Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular used to be performed.(R.I.P. Phantom.) In any case, that was one hell of an introduction, but I want to ensure you are reading and leaving reviews — and, checking-in — to the correct listing, so give me a break. In any case … This venue kicks ass. Comfortable seats, superb lines-of-sights, and the classiest and most swankiest theatre design on the whole fucking strip(makes the soulless Colosseum look like the biggest assholes designed it). Extraordinary acoustics, obviously. Seldom are the fatcats at the Venetian scheduling performances for this venue — outside of the residencies(currently, Soul to Soul is anchoring) — so, if afforded the opportunity to attend a one-off show, do not squander it. Lest the Phantom find you wherever you seek refuge and show you the real meaning of music of night. — E

This review was posted many months ago, but I guess It posted in the wrong area and it was removed. So, I’m posting in, what I hope to be, the right area. I’m more than glad to remove it permanently if the information is no longer accurate. The show was awesome. Faith has a great voice and Tim is a good entertainer. The showroom is beautiful. The acoustics are awesome. I saw Phantom there a couple of times and I thought during this show that I would probably come back again at some point… STOP!!! That is until the show was over and it was time to leave. Our seats were upstairs. First of all, we had to walk up a ton of stairs to get there. After waiting 10 minutes in the elevator line for ONE elevator, with no luck, we decided to endure the knee pain so that we could get to our seats on time. It took us THIRTY minutes to depart the showroom. THIRTYMINUTES!!! I’ve been to most showrooms and arenas, both on and off the strip, and it has NEVER taken me that long to LEAVE a showroom. It was the most ridiculous egress process in Las Vegas. Once we were down the stairs, we saw a clear way out, but an usher blocked us and told us that we weren’t allowed to exit that way. I never experienced this with Phantom(of course I always sat downstairs). What was the problem? The Venetian wants to make money. So they have a Soul2 Soul gift shop immediately at the exit. They also have a very large«buy your photo» area right at the exit. VENETIAN!!! I’ve got news for you. THEREISNOROOMFOREITHER. Heaven forbid someone gets sick in that crowd. EMS would never be able to get to them. That situation has to be against fire code. A thirty minute exit totally ruined my show experience and I will never go back. Well, if they change the exit experience, I might…
