Loved this show! Had a complete blast watching this show. Totally worth it. What’s unique about this show is that it’s the first Cirq show and others birthed out of this. Plenty of humor and crowd participation as well. I was actually called up on stage and put in a box locked away while my wife was hit on in the audience by the host. Classic. Not sure what the show is about but I’ve heard things that are bizarre. I’ll let you do your own research and figure it out for yourself. Show is 90 minutes long and doesn’t feel like it at all. Seriously the show begins and next thing you know it’s over. The seating was great. It didn’t seem like there was a bad seat in the house. I sat 3 rows from stage but I would like to see the show from the back as well to see all of it. I felt like I was missing something above my head or behind me because I was so close. Great show and a memory to never forget.

The show was excellent! The dancers were exceptionally talented, so strong and graceful. They made sure the crowd was included in the show, with different skits including audience members. I was surprised that there were instances where audience members were sprayed with drinks or liquid was squirted at them by cast members. It was all in good fun but just so you can be forewarned. I highly recommend this show for a great time!

I have to say that I was very impressed with Mystere. It was entertaining and amusing. I was in awe of the amazing and talented cast. Great seats, but I’m told all the seats have a great view. If you don’t want to be «part» of the show, I would suggest not choosing the seats directly in front of the stage.

Excellent theater with a view from all seats! I’ve seen Cirque du Soleil at the Mystere Theater several(4 or more) times, but this review is about a Free event I attended a week and half ago, on Thursday the 8th. Self parking was perfect atop the parking garage with amazing views of nearby hotel properties and the Las Vegas Valley. The elevator was convenient to the long escalator ride down to the Mystere Theater entrance. Many people were already in line 2 hours before the event started. This line of people from all walks of life stretched past some shops, all the way back into the casino. The line moved along very quickly, thanks to the professionalism of friendly ushers and security. Once my RSVP Free ticket was accepted, the search for open seating began. Entering the theater, I chose to go to the right, past the concessions, and down a small hallway which opened into the Mystere Theater. So many people, still several seats, I looked around and recognized an olé drinking buddy of mine and fortunately he had a vacant seat next to him. We enjoyed catching up on lost time, as we haven’t seen each other in several months. Mr. Phil Ruffin, owner of the Treasure Island, came on stage and shared a couple entertaining stories with the packed house about his friend and Presidential Candidate Donald Trump. Next, we all stood up and Pledged Allegiance To The Flag Of The United States Of America, followed by listening to a talented young girl sing our National Anthem. Mr. Ruffin introduced his packed theater to the event speaker, Mr. Donald J. Trump. Donald Trump kept the audience attention for over an hour, speaking of the current realities of our great country and shared many of his policies that he believed would be best for him to lead as our POTUS. There was plenty of cheering, laughing, clapping, and standing ovations among a commonality of all people in attendance of this event. We all believe it is time to «Make America Great Again!» Leaving the Trump Rally was much easier than I anticipated because I parked atop the roof of the parking garage. Many cars from the 3rd and 2nd floors, showed courtesy and respect for fellow drivers exiting to Spring Mtn. Rd. The Mystere Theater is one of the finest in Las Vegas that seats 1,000+ people comfortably, all with an excellent view of the stage! Unilocal250CHALLENGE2015: #234

Awesome sauce!!! This show was amazing from the baby(which is an oversized grown man), the percussionists and the two man act that balanced each other in a variety of ways. It is so impressive what the body can do!!! Just goes to show I need to get in the gym or Pilates fast!!! The theatre is nice and great viewing seems to be possible from anywhere. Just remember to pay attention to everything as there is activity in the air, on the walls, down below so keep your head moving!!! The seats are not designed for the full-figured so just keep that in mind! Overall a spectacular, high-energy, affordable show that will leave you wanting an additional hour!!!

A multi– dimensional spectacle of the first order. Things going on above, mid-view and below. There’s so much it’s hard to take it all in, so a year and a half later I went again with friends who wanted to see«the best» Cirque show. Was gratified to learn there were two new acts and did not regret going a second time. Three visible mistakes were made during this second show that could have been tragic but use of a net by the trapeze artists and other performers positioned to catch a falling acrobat, these did not detract from the still awesome beauty and spectacle of the show, but it was a step down from the apparent perfection of the show attended last year. Still, the only real fault I find with Mystere is the unnaturally abrupt ending: You wouldn’t know the show is over but for the performers suddenly taking their bows. This show suitable for family viewing for children able to stay quiet during delicate moments of the show, or at least until you can slip them a cocktail.

This show was fantastic, loved it! This was or first time seeing a cirque du Soleil show, and we chose the original, assuming that since it was the one that started it all it had to be good. We weren’t dissapointed. The set was pretty impressive, with rotating platforms and a lot of other moving pieces. The music complements the surreal/magical feel of the show, and is performs live, including the vocals. The show is well balanced, with instances of comic relief in between the exciting acrobatics. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The seats we originally selected were in a corner that had an annoying visual obstruction. They wouldn’t let us upgrade and pay the difference, but they allowed us to move to better seats free of charge. The shows duration was satisfying. We went in at 9:30, with the show starting several minutes later, and were out at 11:10.

This was the best cirque show I’ve ever seen.(Also only the second but nonetheless). I was in Vegas for work and asked a few of the locals I met their opinion. If I’ve learned anything about Vegas its that the locals won’t stir you wrong. They know how hyped up many things are. The ladies I was working with said to go with Mystere. It’s the original and longest running on the strip and for good reason. The storyline provided entertainment and the production was second to none. And also — it’s the only cirque show in Vegas that has live music. It was great to have that added bit of entertainment. The theatre doesn’t have a bad seat. I would recommend this show to anyone in a pinch trying to figure out which show to see.

How on earth does this have so few reviews??? I have never seen a Cirque show before, and I haven’t been to Treasure Island before. So this was all 100% new to me. Overall, the theatre is pretty nice. It’s not the fanciest setting I’ve ever been to(after all, they sell popcorn you can bring to your seat) — but it’s basically clean and definitely well maintained. The theatre is set up as more-than-a-half moon, not straight rows. We sat in a higher tier, and had a great view of the performance. Didn’t have to strain our necks to see the aerial work. Something to keep in mind if you’re thinking of where to sit. One thing to note: the seats are kind of small, and I’m not that big of a gal. The guy sitting next to me(a total stranger) kept splaying his legs and trying to take up my space — NOTCOOL(just because I’m 5 ft 2, doesn’t mean I want your knees and feet in my space… I paid full price, too!). So do be a bit mindful of your neighbors. Also not cool? His family talked through the WHOLESHOW. I get ooh’ing and aah’ing — totally normal; the acts are jaw dropping. But full-on *conversations*? Why? Why do people do this??? Again, be respectful! Ushers are a bit curt. Not mean, just a little direct with little finesse. Mystere itself is a very engaging show; a little strange, but the acrobats’ and dancers’ work is AMAZING. I don’t have another Cirque show to compare it to, but I’d say it’s a good choice.

Amazing circus performance. More traditional than the other cirque’s productions that I have seen so far. It’s a must see if you are in Vegas.

Love Cirque and was delighted with Mystere. Beautiful show with haunting music, the classic capers that had the audience roaring before the show began. ** beware who seats you! :) there is not a bad seat I. The house. Small theatre is the perfect setting, it almost felt like a private showing. Once the popcorn went flying I was glad it was not! :)

I have only been to the Mystere theater three times in my life… and, go figure, two out of three times it was to go see the Mystere show. The Mystere theater seats 1,541 people. That doesn’t seem like a big number, but it will certainly feel like a big number when you are waiting in an insanely long entry line to get seated! When we got into the line it was literally right in front of the buffet and almost onto the casino floor! Crazy! Fortunately, the line moved very quickly and we were inside the theater in no time at all! The way the seats are staggered and inclined, there really is no bad seat in the house! Last time we were here we sat in the far back right area of the stage. This time we were in the 5th row just off left of the stage! Great seats! Close enough to see the facial expressions on the performers! The acoustics also sounded good as they had a live band perform during the entire duration of the show! I have also had a chance to check out a concert here and the sound was great! About 5 years ago, I saw a live performance by LeAnn Rimes here and it was a perfect spot to accommodate a small and intimate live performance! I guess during Mysteres off nights, the theater is used for other performers. Bill Cosby, Howie Mandel, Jo Koy, and many more have performed here! The Mystere Theater is a comfortable, intimate little setting to either take in Mystere, a stand up comedy show, or a great concert! 4 stars.

Cirque du Soleil shows are always so breathtaking and although I thoroughly appreciated the talent of all the directors/performers/acrobats, I began to get bored towards the end. I went in a group of 6 and a few of them fell asleep during the show. I like how they take breaks in between the intense performers by bringing out the giant baby and the magician-type guy, but I wish they had done that more often and just replace a few of the not-so-great acts. My least favorite act was of four people swinging around because a) it was done MUCH better in Zarkana and b) they weren’t even in sync with one another. I would highly recommend grabbing the center back seats(section 203) because most of their acts face towards that direction and you wouldn’t be able to see the people/things hanging from the ceiling if you’re sitting too close to the stage.

Where to begin? At the end… regretting that it was over. Laughed, ooooh’d and awww’d, prayed(for them, not me), giggled, boo’d and hissed as they tried to throw the clown out for his antics with the audience. My eyes were darting all directions(not easy, by the way) to catch the strength, control, skill and wonderment of it all. Our Groupon deal for $ 238 included two seats to this show, along with a 2-night stay at Treasure Island in a great room. They sat us within 3 rows of the stage, but on the far side, so it was not the most expensive seats, but plenty adequate. These seats were probably valued in the $ 80/ea. range. We had things happening right in front of our noses. This is a cute and beautiful show, Mystere. The physical stage is magnificent and so flexible. The lighting, music, and low lying mist creates a wonderful mood. However, I just could not figure out a recognizable story line, other than attributing the 1 ½ hours to the possible childlike imagination of the big baby and little girl characters. Regardless, it was delightful, colorful, and one I could highly recommend to see live, on stage, not just an Internet recording. It tickles all the senses. I think I would have a hard time spending $ 100+ for a seat though. As my buddies on «American Pickers» would say, «…bundle it.» And they did, thank you, Groupon. And thank you, my son, for the lovely gift. So, what is with the giant, inflatable snail with the creepy face at the end??? Ewww.

I am not a big fan of Las Vegas shows because they do not interest me. Mystere is the first cirque du soleil show I’ve been to and that’s only because my gf took me here for my birthday. After watching the show I had a real conundrum about writing a review for this show because cirque fan boys can construe my opinion controversial. Las Vegas is a town for people to come to spend money to get entertained, so my review will primarily focus on the value proposition of the ciruqe shows. Is this show worth spending $ 100 – 150 for 90 minutes? No. There isn’t any unique acrobatic material in this show that isn’t available on the Internet or on tv shows like America’s got talent. The filler part before the next act of the show is being prepared is really not that funny. I will not go into details about the show since it my spoil the show for some. I think I can get more entertainment out at a movie theater for $ 10. I honestly think that ciruqe shows are a scam created by casino industry to get more money out of people’s pockets.

Great show. The clown guy was funny. It’s classic Cirque du Soleil — moody music, acrobatics and displays of great human strength. Section 103 is the best. Practically any seat there is good. However, I’d avoid the edges or else you risk getting picked on by the clown. Sat middle section, 3rd row Center. Great view. If I could do it again, I’d probably sit a few more rows back, as there was a lot going on up above. I’ve seen over 10 Cirque shows so far all around the world. This was definitely top 5.

My third Cirque show after Zarkana(which I actually saw at Radio City in New York) and O, which obviously, I saw at Bellagio(a couple of years ago). I know people talk about O being the end all and be all of Cirque du Soleil and even of shows over all in Vegas, but my favorite is still my first — Zarkana. And, while this may be blasphemy, I enjoyed Mystere more than O. Cirque loves putting a lot of pomp into their performances, with very elaborate stages and settings. My girlfriend and I ordered the Cirque movie on netflix once, which was sort of a mix of multiple shows turned into a new story, and we saw a lot of the stages for shows we hadn’t seen yet. Very impressive, but sometimes, difficult to know where to look. There’s simply too much going on. Mystere, as the original, is very different. The performances and acrobatics are amazing, but there isn’t always a lot else going on around the main performances. Sure, a couple of the acts involve multiple side performers, but some are just focused on the 1, or 2 or a few performers. Like all cirque shows, there is some comic relief before and during the show, and it was all funny and very entertaining. The one thing I can say about this show is that it flew by. I remember saying to my girlfriend at the end that I thought we were approaching an intermission. However, the show was over and I looked at the time, and it had been about 90 minutes. I don’t know where the time went, but it flew by. The theater itself is really intimate. Don’t worry about spending money on the lower half circle of seats — it isn’t necessary. If you buy the mid-level seats, or even the cheaper ones, then you’ll be fine. I would just try to ensure you are center stage, or as close to there as possible. We sat in the very center of the upper sections, 5th row(EE), and our seats were fantastic. Also, if you sit in the lower sections, there is a chance you’re going to get messed with by a pre-show performer. Popcorn was thrown and water was squirted. If you stay a little higher, you can see it all and laugh at the people it’s happening to, without getting wet or salty or buttery yourself.

Came here for my first Cirque show, and I loved it! We bought tickets at Tix4Tonight, and we got a good deal. There weren’t 6 seats together, so we had 4 together in one row and 2 in the row directly behind them. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of storyline– I knew I wanted to see a Cirque show because I love the acrobatics and gymnastics, but I wasn’t expecting the storyline to be so bizarre(seriously, people dressed up as sperm?). I found the show very entertaining, but I didn’t understand the storyline until after I looked it up on Wikipedia afterward. The acts were amazing, and we had good seats on the side. Luckily, we did not become a part of the show. If you want to see a show while you’re in town, I would definitely recommend Mystere. Don’t arrive late unless you care to become part of the opening act.

I’ve only watched a few shows on the strip and this was my second Cirque Du Soleil show but I must say I am a fan of Mystere. So many colors and acrobats it was really intense. The theater is gorgeous. Plenty of seats and you can see the stage basically from anywhere you sit. Ticket pricing wasn’t bad either. I think we got a good deal on 3 tickets. Show wasnt packed at all and still had some available seats. Must see this show when you’re in Vegas.

The Choreographers’ Showcase, a joint production of Nevada Ballet Theatre and Cirque du Soleil, held its 6th annual show yesterday at the Mystère Theatre. The theatre is almost a complete semi-circle in shape and almost every seat in the house is a good one. I wouldn’t want to be on the extreme right or left for a show there but you still good see well. The stage is very large and allows a program such as the Choreographers’ Showcase to spread out and take advantage of the turntable front of the stage. I have seen Mystère here several times and the place is great!
