UYE-First Sunday Jazz Brunch

Ceres was great! There were quite a bit of Unilocalers here for brunch… great conversation and good food! A couple of pics of the attendees :

The food setup is a breakfast bar buffet style, but it is all fresh and tasty. Here is a pic of my first plate :
As you can see, a little bit of everything. They have a waffle/​omelet station that cooks to order as well, with lots of fresh ingredients like spinach and veggies. Pic of my omelet :
The food here is a solid 3 – 3.5 stars I think… but again, it’s a buffet style, so you can’t really expect to be blown away. There is plenty of variety here though, to keep everyone happy.
The Jazz lunch is about $ 19 and is every Sunday. They have the live Jazz in the background :
It is a very classy and home-​like feel at the same time. Also, champagne and mimosas for $ 5! The champagne is very sweet though… but tolerable for me. Might be a demi-sec…We still pounded em out though! :

Oh, how fun was this event? SO MUCH FUN!!!
Maybe it was a more chill one, but it still had the classics: good food, great friends, and some mighty smmooooooth jazz.
The buffet had a good number of selections, everything from fruit, pastries, granola, lox and waffles. If you do stop over at the Ceres inside the JW Marriot, you gotta try those waffles. They were made fresh, and perfect.
It was really nice to see all my buds, and nice to meet someone new (here’s lookin’ at you, Cathy C.!).
Amanda was a great host, and it was really nice meeting her baby, little Petra. Seriously, she’s the prettiest and most well-​behaved baby I have ever met. Thanks so much Amanda!

Thank you Amanda (and little Petra!) for hosting yet another great UYE! Happening every Sunday of the month, the JW Marriot offers a Sunday Brunch complete with live jazz music for $ 19 a person.
A bunch of Unilocalers gathered for a day of food, fun, and friendship where we were treated to a spread of hot items like waffles, pancakes, made to order omelettes, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and healthier options like fresh fruit, granola, and steel cut oats, and many, many more!
The live music added a nice bonus to the day as well, and if you love brunch and jazz, you may just have to plan on coming out… ALOHA!!!
