The Pub is a mixed bag. It offers a stacked beer list and solid food. The kobe burger is amazing and the salads are a verdent respite in a wasteland of Las Vegas carbs. Brunch offerings are average but worth it if you can nab the poolside seating. The physical space itself is a decent place to catch a game, especially if it’s being shown on the large projection screen near the stage. I was pleasantly surprised that some games are even played with sound. The main downside is ho-hum service. The Eastern European hostess’ bad attitude can only be attributed to either several decades living in a Stalin era gulag or having a small mammalian creature lodged in her distal colon. Server Jose M’s poor service managed to capture the essence of a surly LA bouncer with the apathy of a NASCAR loving Trump supporter. Service is mostly bad, but fortunately not all bad. Shelley took good care of us on another visit. While I will likely return to the Pub, it will only be for a compelling reason and not a spur of the moment meal.

It took like 20 minutes to get water and 30 minutes to get one beer and 10 more minutes for my boyfriend to get his beer. Food was faster but not that great. I can tell this is the type of place that looks cool and intriguing so everyone wants to try it but then regrets that decisions about halfway into the meal and will never return. They are lucky they are in the middle of foot traffic to be able to lure curious people in with an attitude of «who cares if they ever come back».

Since my last review, which admittedly was 5 years ago, The Pub has atoned for the transgressions I pointed out then. In addition, they have added many more selections both on draft and in the bottle. They also feature a nice variety of beers local to the Las Vegas area, many of which are quite good. The Pub is basically a gigantic sports bar(albeit with great beer) during the day and a live music venue by night. In fact, world class 80’s cover band The Spazmatics played one night while I visited. Great show and a good vibe by the crowd. I’m glad the Pub has made the right changes!

Great selection of beers on tap. Service was terrible. Bartender just walk by everyone and ignore them. It was empty at the bar and took me 10 minutes to even order my beer. myVegas offers a free pint with coins. Beer is on the pricey side. $ 7+ for a glass. Speakeasy Prohibition Ale — $ 9

Solid sports bar. We stayed in the hotel and came here to watch the NBA finals. They played the game on the big screen. There was plenty of seating, and you could probably see the game from any seat. Happy hour is from 3−6pm. It’s $ 3 off beers and appetizers. They have a huge selection of beers on tap, so you can probably find what you like. I got a stout, and it was great. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and did not realize how large the portion size was going to be. The pretzel dish is two humongous pretzels, with mustard, spicy mustard, and cheese dip. The nachos were also gigantic. As for wings, the Parmesan garlic was not good, but the buffalo ones were. The game didn’t go the way I wanted, but the food and drinks were great. I was very pleasantly surprised by the portion size. Overall, it was a good decision to come.

Food: *Awesome Service: *Awesome I was really skeptical about going to the Pub at the Monte Carlo after reading all these Unilocal reviews and only 3 stars. The pictures looked really good in the lobby. So decided to go with the group. Service was really great and our waitress Eileen and Connor were really attentive and joking with us, everything you want after a long weekend of partying and drinking.

Service isn’t all that great and happy hour specials are same as everywhere else. ½ off appetizers and $ 2 domestic beer, ect. We ordered the 100 oz domestic beer for $ 30 which I think is pretty good price. Between the two of us we got about 4 glasses each. Only bad thing is it doesn’t stay cold. Wings were standard nothing special. However, big bar and dining room with plenty of tv’s. With all the choices around that area I probably won’t be coming back

Our experience with the pub was great and bot so great. A pub style bar and grill, the lighting and feel of the place is cozy and warm. We had a semi-large group and they were very accommodating, and the food and beverage menu is diverse. The food we ordered was great! We had a little bit of everything in our group, but many people ordered a pizza or a burger, and they were fantastic. The downside comes with the service. Our waiter didn’t seem thrilled to be waiting on us, and my mother law was using a pre-paid visa to purchase the meals and there was an issue with the card, and instead of handling it in a professional, courteous manner, the way she was treated and spoken to was uncalled for. She was trying to get it figured out, but got so frustrated with our waiter that he was being super unhelpful, so she had to switch to using her debit card(we try not to use our cards in Vegas if we don’t have to because my husbands card number was once stollen after use in Vegas, as was another friend of mines). So, although the atmosphere and food was great, the service added a sour note onto an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Me and my family, 5 people total, came here a few times because we’re staying at the hotel. The service was NOT good but the food was delicious. The three times we came here over the span of two days, we had three different waiters/waitresses and they were all awful. They came once and they were never seen again. They ignored us blatantly — because a few of us made direct eye contact several times. If this bar wants to compete with the other places in the strip, they need serious training with their staff. The food each time was AMAZING. We had chicken wings, pizza, pretzels, biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles and more! All of it was cooked to perfection, delicious and very very filling. You won’t regret your food choices here! Edit: If you have a chance to go see the 80’s band they have playing — The Spazmatics — DOIT! They’re hilarious and very entertaining.

The Pub at Monte Carlo Greeted at the door and was told it would be a few minutes for a table. No problem. Sat at table and waiter comes over and ask us if we are ready to our, mind you that we just sat. Hubby asked for coffee and was told it would a few minutes as they are out of coffee mugs. Runner comes over with water to which we say good morning and thank you for the water and a grunt for a reply is received. Hubby left to use the restroom and waiter comes back with my ice tea and hubby’s juice. Let’s me know that he’ll give us a few more minutes to decide. Mind you hubby is not present. Redemption: Waiter comes back to our table and it a little more attentive and is able to take our order. Of course I made my order a little difficult by asking for substitutions and he even suggested substituting the toast with fruit. Cool… Runner seems to be in a better mood… came back to refill hubby’s coffee and was a little chatty. Excellent. Food arrived. Everything on my side is good, but the crispy bacon for hubby is no so crispy. Need to send it back.

We went here twice last weekend — once for a couple drinks during happy hour and the next day for lunch. We sat at the bar the first day and the service was excellent. The bartender even helped us with our selections by giving us a sample before we ordered. they have a huge selection of beer from around the word! We were about the only ones in there at the time, which was strange. We returned the next day for lunch and again were one of the few people in there. We were seated promptly in front of the giant TV with the baseball game on. They had some 70’s acid rock blasting through the sound system and rugby on the smaller screen — a very eclectic mix of everything! The waitress took our order — pretzel, 2 burgers and 2 beers. Everything tasted really good — especially pretzel. The bill came to $ 100.00 with tip, which seemed a little on the expensive side for what we had. Perhaps that’s why the place was empty? We would return for the beer and pretzel, but during happy hour next time!

Top reasons to go here… Excellent beer selection and good location inside the Monte Carlo. The staff here is pretty good, My favorite server being Conn because hes personable and professional. Food is good too but there are Some favorites I have. The chicken nachos are huge, enough for two to even share as a meal. They also taste good — not easy to find on the strip. Their burgers are also huge and good quality meat and come with fries or a salad for an upcharge. Fun fact, If you go during football season you can sometimes score stuff for free on Monday night football. Don’t come on the weekend and expect to be seated right away. There will most likely be a wait. During lunchtime on weekdays is probably the slowest time to come if you are in a hurry. Overall good pub to drink quality beer, watch sports on big screens and socialize. Not a date place or quiet place and definitely not kid friendly.

Average food, average prices, but one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. If you’ve been playing at the casino, check with MLife. they comped me $ 120 at The Pub, $ 200 at 200 Degrees Pizza, and $ 50 at Starbucks over the course of 3 days and I’m not a big better and I didn’t lose any money or anything. I actually left with an extra $ 250 on top of that. It doesn’t hurt to ask and you can request $$$ at any of the MGM places :)

This is a place I always default to in Vegas. The food is super solid, beer is cold and VAST, selection is good with most things, and it’s convenient with reasonable price points. The wings and prime rib dip are my personal favorotes. Upgrade to the onion rings for something you probably haven’t had. Beware, that’s not ranch that comes with the prime rib dip; it’s creamy horse raddish! Most are caught off guard.

It’s a pub with all the drinks and pub fare. Large TV around. What looks like a stage area. Upon late check in and not having eaten for 12 hrs I headed here. Was moderately busy and was promptly seated and served. I had the Pub Burger. Huge! Could only eat ½ of it. It was delicious. Cook to order. I had a choice of regular or mesquite fries, I ordered mesquite. Very good. I wanted a local brew, picked Sin City Pilsner. It was very light for me. It’s around 2:30pm too early for restaurants, so came back here. Place is busy because is late for lunch, early for dinner plus it’s raiing dogs & cats. When in doubt, hit the Pub Cubano sandwich & Sam is the order. Service extremely slow… Snail pace. I’ve been seating here for a good 15 – 20 min. Nilch! I just got serviceware placed on the table. More to come. Ah, the Ale came! And then the sandwich. Very nice looking. First bite… I guess I am confused with thw warm weather, the palm trees, the neon lights, the crowds and the rain and thought I was in Fl. Skip it. It’s a very nice sandwich, but nothing to do with its Cuban counterpart.

We were really excited for 80’s night at The Pub. Our first bartender was rude and made our whole group(6 people) sit at the very back, because he was it was easier for him if we all sat in the same area. Why that matters, I’m not really sure, because we were all paying individually. My second bartender was fine. When I asked for a whiskey and coke, he acted like he had never heard of such a thing. Another bartender was beyond rude to two individuals in our group. When one of our guys asked for a beer(a common, big name beer), the bartender yelled at him, saying that The Pub has X number of beers and he should get one of them instead and gave him a hard time for wanting the beer he wanted. When another individual asked the bartender what kind of whiskey they had, he spoke to her condescendingly and couldn’t/wouldn’t name any of the whiskey, talking down to her the whole time. We had enough and left. Also, the 80s band was not that good. Would not recommend.

The Pub was a pleasant surprise. The menu looked pretty standard for pub fare — burgers, sandwiches, fries — so we weren’t expecting much. I had a Reuben and my husband had a burger, and we were both impressed with the portions, flavor, and overall quality. The beer battered fries were a nice complement. There is lots of space, so it’s a great option for larger groups. TVs around the pub make it a good place to follow sporting events. Outdoor seating is available but not always open. Prices are a little better than most casual dining options on the Strip($ 12−16/entrée).

This review is for two male bartenders(older white male and a younger white male with dreads) ONLY. We went here for the USA7’s after party with the intent of having fun and celebrating Fiji’s win. Too bad these two ruined our plans and our night. They refused to serve people of color and were only serving white people! We were standing at the bar for a good fifteen minutes waiting to be served only to be ignored. This happened to ALL people of color waiting to be served! If it only happened once we would’ve brushed it off but after the second time we just finally left. Ignorance should not be tolerated anywhere especially in a place where tourist of all races frequent!

So The Pub at Monte Carlo does have a superior beer on tap selection and the restaurant is pretty big, so the wait to be seated shouldn’t be an issue. The environment is clean and the staff is friendly. My husband really likes the place for these very reasons, especially the beer selection. As for the food, it’s pretty average. I had Shepard’s pie in England(in pubs) several times and their version tasted like they had a salt accident. I gave the rest to my husband who was ok with it. So if you are sensitive to salt, have a salad. We also ordered the potato skins and those were good but it tasted like potato skins from any other restaurant. My family ordered the burgers and they enjoyed it, along with the fries. If I ever do go back, I may try something different and give them another chance.

Our service was SO bad, it was hard to enjoy the food, which was pretty decent. We were completely ignored for a good 10 minutes, and then they brought us coffee. A tray of dirty dishes sat next to our table for longer than that, gross. Our waitress finally came and took our order and we got our food. Huzboo got standard breakfast eggs, bacon, pancakes(very good) and I took a chance and got the pulled pork benedict — I wish I had just gotten the regular. The eggs were poached perfectly, but the pork was ick — fatty and greasy and blech. Sauce was good, though, so I ate it. At one point, the waitress apologized and said she was«so busy» which is a BIG no-no for anyone who has ever waited tables. It does not create a sympathy tip, honey, just makes you look like you can’t handle things(and it wasn’t terribly busy, in my opinion, and there were other waitstaff).

just got to Vegas checked into the hotel and hit this place for lunch. I had the CALIENTECHICKEN $ 16.00 Brioche Bun, Pepper Jack Cheese, Grilled Onions, Lettuce, Tomato and Chipotle Mayo… bland-o-rama my 2 customers had the CUBANOSANDWICH12.00 $ Roasted Pork, Black Forest ham, Pickles, Yellow Mustard and Swiss Cheese they said it tasted like a poor boy more than Cuban cuisine. Basic beers nothing special great atmosphere wish the food tasted as good as it looked.
