I am no expert but these folks are old fashioned good service not in todays realm of 2 hours and give your equipment back. They have a pick up spot at Sahara and Torrey Pines and get your CPU back in about 5 to 7 days. The work is done in Kingman, AZ and they personally pick it up, Angel is very good communicating what is going on and what the Charge is and you go back to pick it up at the Torrey Pines location. Follow up is an easy reachable phone call to them and they are more than happy to help, I like this operation everyone should give such good service.

KINGMANLOCATION ***PROS*** My battery was replaced. The owners seem very knowledgeable about Mac products. There was no service fee for work performed. ***CONS*** There is a time limit imposed by Apple for the replacement part to be installed. Otherwise it must be shipped back to Apple! DETAILEDREVIEW: We phoned to ask about a battery replacement for my macbook pro, and were told we had to bring the computer in prior to ordering the part. We set aside time to drive the 45 minutes(one way) to their location, but there was a note on the door that they were out running errands. No problem — we ran an errand as well, and when we returned, the shop was open. My computer was plugged in, some diagnostics were done, and I was on my way. The new battery arrived within a few days. We were phoned and informed the battery was in. It being our busy week at work, we made no attempt to take the long drive back to Kingman until we received a phone call that, UNLESSWEWERETHEREBY2PMTODAYTHEBATTERYWOULDBESENTBACK. Hubby asked if we could pay for the battery to ensure it not being shipped back. We were told that would be an additional $ 30 fee. The prices are set by Apple, as are the amount of time allotted for parts to be installed. The extra $ 30 would be charged since my old battery wouldn’t be shipped back, in essence a trade. Well, hubby didn’t want to pay the extra $ 30, so regardless of how busy we were, he took my computer to Kingman that day prior to the 2pm deadline. The battery cost $ 149, but was installed within 15 minutes. There was no extra fee for service, which was nice.

Mac clinic is the best. Brought my imac to best buy because of the warranty and they took forever and got it back and it still didn’t work. Mac Clinic fixed me up right away. Even though my macs are under best buy warranty, I will still take them to mac clinic and pay, rather than deal with the clueless at best buy.

Similar experience to Tyler H. I called up the MacClinic on April 11 to schedule an appointment to bring in my MacBook Pro for two fan replacements. Simple enough task, I assumed. They stated the part was not in stock but would order them and call me when they came in in a couple of days. I wait, and wait… a week later on April 18 I call to check the status. One fan came in and the other didn’t so they were still waiting on that. Thanks for the update; a call would have been nice! I was then told it would be there in a couple days and they would contact me… sound familiar? It’s now June 2… still no call back. I guess their business is going so well that they don’t need to rely upon people who call them up out of the blue willing to part with their hard earned money. Oh well, I fixed the damn thing myself. Guess how long it took me to get the fans delivered to my business? 3DAYS!

Definitely beyond my expectations! I went in to buy a used Mini, which they have sometimes on consignment. It cost about what I’d pay if I got it online, including shipping. Right off the bat, Bob told me to go get cash so I could save on the tax– about twenty bucks. Then, I got it home and the Airport card didn’t work or didn’t exist– either way, I figured caveat emptor, right? I know the perils of buying used, and I hadn’t asked about wireless. Well, I brought it back in after the weekend, and the next morning Bob called. When I got there, to my surprise, he handed me a replacement!(Just another used one, of course…) And he didn’t even charge for the time he had spent trying to figure out what was wrong with the first one, even though it was technically used and in no way under any guarantee. Really exceptional service.

Alright, I’ve taken my out-of-warranty MACs here for years and I’ve never been disappointed. They are great at explaining your options and helping you out where ever they can to shop for the lowest repair parts and avoid long waits on getting your machine back. When I use a Mac Store I always find myself waiting and waiting for my computer to be repaired with little communication. I just found out these guys are authorized to service in-warrenty Macs too, I’m thrilled that I’ll never have to make another«genius appt.» again! Update: They now operate as satellite business with a local drop-off… still awesome.

This the level of service I was hoping to get from the Apple stores, but couldn’t. I have a Mac Pro(2008) 3,1 which has some serious compatibility issues with graphics cards and its factory one was toast .(The Apple store didn’t diagnose it, and generally failed at having a clue). It looked hopeful to me that it could be a bad graphics card. None of the Apple retail stores could help. But the last Apple store I talked to, referred me to the Mac Clinic(and 2 other local mac shops). The Mac Clinic had to hunt around, but came up with a use card within the hour which saved the day. This might not sound like a raving review, but a mac user in Las Vegas, won’t do much better elsewhere.

I’m not an opponent of Macs. In fact, I Love My Macbook Pro. Had a friend’s Macbook eat the dust because of some substantial liquid damage. Replaced the MagSafe adapter only to find out that the logic board was even more corroded. This is when an IT guy who doesn’t have a part shops around for a Macbook logic board. Found a couple repair sites on eBay, but wanted to stay local. Called the MacClinic twice(once leaving a very detailed, verbose message) and still haven’t received a return phonecall from them. Their website says they charge $ 90/hour in quarter hour increments, but I am going to have to hold back. Prices of parts? Who knows? They wouldn’t give me the time of day, and I don’t feel that I should have to go out of MY way to give a company my money. Maybe they went out of business?

Great shop, awesome customer service. I just bought a used Mac from a friend to had it repaired here, and it works magically! The repair included a brand new screen and a hard drive. As a former Windows person, I’m officially a Mac user! Thanks Mac Clinic!

Upon moving to Las Vegas I set out to find a great computer repair shop. Having Macs for the past 10 years has made me make great relationships with the shops around me. In Las Vegas, The Mac Clinic hands down is the best Mac repair shop. For those who don’t have their Apple Care, for those who are out of warranty and for those who like the personal attention. This place is a must for service, training and good ol’ hand holding.
