The Color Room

After waiting too long to book with my regular hair dresser I was frantic and leaving town in two days. I was speaking in front of a group of women and needed something done with my hair. It was after hours and Pui and Misha answered their email at 10:30 on a Friday night. They squeezed me in on a Sunday morning and I am so glad they did. Pui gave me exactly what I wanted and she is an artist to watch work. I highly recommend The Color Room.

Went in last week with a gift certificate that I had won… Pui wasn’t feeling well but you would have never known by her attitude and professionalism! She did exactly what I wanted, Platinum Blonde and a fun Pixie cut! I really enjoyed my experience at the Color Room and I will be back!!!

I had highlights done here about two months ago. They were very nice about taking me for a same day appointment. When I called, and during my in-​person consultation, I explained that I wanted some very thin very light highlights to try to blend in the few minor grey hairs that I have. The owner recommended doing highlights with two different colors because my hair had some new growth as well as some previously colored areas. I agreed. Unfortunately, they did so many highlights that it basically looks like all over color and it was a lot warmer than I had asked for. It doesn’t look bad, it just wasn’t what I wanted. I was disappointed that they wanted to charge me extra to blow out my hair. Since I was just going home I told them to just dry it. What they did was insane. Two women were standing on each side of me and basically knocking my head back and forth while they blow-​dried it.

Pui is amazing! I had long straggly hair. She took that ugly hair, cut it and colored it and made it beautiful. My hair shines too. The wait for the color processing flew by because our conversation was so much fun! She’s delightful. More importantly, she knows hair! She’s a new salon, so go and support her please!

Pui is amazing! I’ve always been very weird about my hair and hated it. Thanks to her my hair looks amazing and I couldn’t be happier. She helped me through my struggles and my hair turned out fantastic and even better then I could have ever predicted! Thank you so much! I highly recommend this place.

I’ve been to The Color Room twice now and both times have been an experience of top notch customer service with creative cuts and colors. I will continue to go here in the future and highly recommend to anyone.

Great new hair salon in the north west. Kalee is a great colorist, really listens to what you want to do or change.

I saw Pui and Mischa today and they were AMAZING! Discussed with me exactly what i wanted and gave advice and great suggestions to achieve what i wanted. They were both very friendly. So excited that i found my new hairstylist! Highly recommend

I always have a hard time trying new places but my current hair dresser wasn’t giving me what I wanted time after time and I was paying way too much for not being happy. I stumbled upon this salon and was amazed that I could get a same day appointment and after hearing the type of product they used I was already feeling comfortable this was gonna be a good experience.
My hair turned out just the way I had been wanting for the last 9 months. Couldn’t be happier!!! Pui, the owner did my hair and she takes a lot of pride in her work which I absolutely admire.
I highly recommend you go there and support our local businesses. The salon is new and I look forward to supporting her business and referring everyone and anyone I know to her.

just went for the 1^st time today. Lea and Misha did a great job on my color and cut. I was there for 2.5 hours and was the only one in the salon. this place should be busier, they do a good job

Wonderful new hair salon! I first tried this place when they offered free hair cuts during their «opening»…I have just past my shoulders long hair with long layers. Pui did an amazing job getting all the layers cleaned up and ALL my dead ends without sacrificing my length. My next visit was for a color update. To say the least, my hair was destroyed color wise!!! Different shades and blends plus a few home jobs and the Vegas summer sun had all reeked havoc on my hair – IT WAS DESTROYED! It was a blonde/​brown/​red straw mess. I took a picture in of the sunset shades I was hoping for and Pui worked magic getting all the right shades and tones. It was by far the best hair color I have ever had (I am 43!). Now about the service… top notch! I grew up in St. Louis and you went to the salon to get your hair treated/​cut/​fussed over, etc… and your stylist took the time with your hair and listened to your thoughts, concerns, and questions. Well this place is a true salon and not just a store front that stylists rent space from. I had two women working on my hair and I felt truly catered to but at the same time I was in and out of there with no fuss. Pui recommended some great products to get my hair back in to shape and she gave me multiple samples to try. She doesn’t sell products because she doesn’t believe in «pushing products» on you! I am usually stressed getting my hair done but not this time… after 9 years in Vegas I have finally found my Hair Salon!!!

This is my second time here and I absolutely love the work these girls do! I’m so glad I found this place. Highly recommended. :)

I’ve been to see Pui twice now at the Santa Barbara, CA location and loved my highlight and cut results both times. Many of my friends complimented my new ‘dos and have since been to see Pui with fantastic results. The Color Room always has efficient and courteous service from all team members. They work as a team very effectively and I never feel that length of sitting in the chair for a long time. Every appointment has seemed to fly by because they work together. They are a fun and professional crew.

Impressed by this salon. Pua the owner has been doing hair for over 20 years and came from Santa Barbara California. Staff is super friendly and helpful to Pua with all clients. My hair came out exactly how I asked, which is usually a very difficult task to do. She is awesome at both color correction and really has a talent for hair cuts! I would strongly recommend everyone to give it a try, you won’t regret. My hair feels healthy and bouncy!

Went in on a «free haircut» promotion for their Grand Opening. Pui was my stylist and she did a great job. She was a good conversationist as well. She worked with a razor blade and seemed good with her technique. I would definitely consider returning as a paying customer.
