Starbucks

Though I’ve been to various Starbucks in the valley and they are all good, the Lake Mead/​Buffalo location is my favorite. I’ve never had the chance to in this particular establishment due to it always being full (which IMO, is a great indication that it’s good), so I always go through the drive thru and they have been nothing short of excellent. So with this location being great overall, I wanted to shine some attention to the drive thru crew. I want to commend the Drive thru employees for being consistently stellar with their service

Always pleasant & on point. Just because it’s not on the board doesn’t mean they don’t offer it. My suggestion is enter on W. Lake Mead Blvd the drive thru is short. There is a nice patio for outdoor seating although you’re sitting in a parking lot basically.

Several times I’ve asked for light caramel drizzle (because the standard recipe for a caramel macchiato is WAY too much). I specifically go out of my way to emphasize this when ordering at the drive-​thru… this has to be the third or fourth time I’ve asked for this and when I get my drink it actually looks like they put EXTRA caramel in there. Why?! I used to be a barista and I know what light caramel drizzle looks like. It’s not an outrageous or inconvenient request at all! It’s very easy… and yet, they seem to enjoy either ignoring the request altogether or actually putting in extra! I think I’m done with this location.

Busy but efficient Starbucks w/​friendly service and nice ambience. Drinks are well executed w/​good pastries and small meals. Conveniently located and next to Einstein’s for some real food. Patio has gr8 people watching but not a quiet setting for doing business.

This is by far one of the best Starbucks in Vegas! All of the staff members are friendly and attentive, especially my favorites baristas, Jon and Moriah, and Amber! My drink, a grande cold brew sweetened and shaken with light ice, is usually already done by the time I walk in. With a crew like this, I can see why this location is always busy.
I don’t usually come in during the morning, but when I do, everyone always welcomes me and has a great attitude.

The only reason I give this Starbucks a three star is because of the furniture, NOT the drinks which are delicious as ever or the service. If you are going to have furniture outside, why have three tables with zero chairs? This boggles my mind as its a beautiful morning to sit outside but unable to.

Worst Starbucks service two days in a row. I have never been at a slower service Starbucks with inefficient service as this one. I have no idea if their entire staff hates the owner or they were just trained poorly but I will not be back. I hope the morning service is better than the afternoon service I received! Train your staff, it will make their lives easier and your customers happy. Oh and a final topper… as I was leaving a staff member was chasing down a roach to kill.

I’ve never had any issues ordering my drinks from this particular Starbucks until today.
I ordered a grande latte with the ice on the side so I don’t have to go through the hassle of taking out the excess ice myself as I’ve done in the past.
Long story short I get to the drive thru window to retrieve my drink and I’m met with a grande latte cup half full!
Yes. That is correct I had a half full grande drink. I would like to know when did my grande drink become a tall of a sudden. I’ve never had this happen before.
When I asked the guy if he could fill it up to the appropriate level he said he is not suppose to, because Starbucks has a «rule» that they only fill their cups up to a «certain line».
Are you for real??? This was such an absurd thing that I didn’t want to argue about it and just took my drink and left. My question for the people who work here is what happened to the «we’ll make your drink the way you want it if it’s not right???
I don’t feel like coming back to this particular Starbucks again. This whole ridiculous episode makes me think why do I bother spending $ 5 for coffee if I’m going to get hassled over 2 oz of milk that should have been in my cup in the first place.

This is my favorite starbucks! They always make my drinks just the way I like… Whenever I go to other locations they don’t seen to make it just right or it tastes different.

The reason why this is a 3-​star review is because this Starbucks location isn’t very bad, and it isn’t very good. A good way to put it is that it is inconsistently good. Sometimes, they make conversation. Sometimes, they use your name. Sometimes, they are smiling. But sometimes none of this is happening. My name is not «Venti Black Tea w/​three Splenda». This location has potential to be consistently good.

Although the drinks are very good the drive-​thru worker was very rude while I was telling her my order. If your not nice to your customers then you shouldn’t work there. The employee was yelling at the customer behind us so they had to change employees… It’s about time !

Stephen and Michelle are AWESOME! There is also another lady and I can not think of her name right now. All 3 rock. Majority of the time my drinks are perfect but can definitely tell when my normal barista is not there :(
The downside to this place… the drive thru is pretty much always crowded. I get there around 6:30 and I promise you if it is 6:33 the line is ridiculous and kind of slow. And the fact that you can enter either from the side that Walgreens is on or like me from the side that Pink Box is on, the lines can get crazy and people can be very mean and try and cut because they don’t care that you were there first. And then of course you get that person who decides to order breakfast for 4 plus 4 specialty drinks. Please get out of the car and go in and not hold up the line for those of us who only want one drink.

Overall, good baristas and the week day morning crew are the best! Just wish you could only enter the drive thru from one direction so that those inconsiderate people don’t have a chance to try and cut the line!

This is the closest one to where i work so i come here a lot in the morning. Drive-​thru. Their always packed but they are fast. The reason why i gave them 3 stars is because i order the same coffee 5 days a week in the morning caramel macchiato with extra caramel, they don’t always make it right.
A couple times i went back on my break just to return my coffee because i can’t taste the caramel at all eventhough i said extra of it, i actually said a lot extra. They still make it regular. If i will come back here everytime they don’t make my coffee right or the way i want it, i will be coming here twice as much as i should be. If the customer order extra, put extra.
Let me worry how sweet my coffee will be. I don’t come here as much anymore, i don’t like their customer service. They need to listen and pay attention to customers wants and needs specially with the price of their product.

Michelle, Jilina and Steven are the most service oriented and friendly employees that Starbucks employs, anywhere! Orders are always precise, fast and served with smiling faces!
The drive thru was crazy this morning w/​cars backed up all the way to Walgreens and they still managed to not lose their sanity, kudos to each & all of them!
Inside is always clean and well organized, and this morning was no different. Obvioulsy I did not use the drive-​thru today, LOL.
Enjoyed the outdoor patio seating while the weather was still tolerable.

I’m in town for a week and had to work throughout, and this place was my go-​to. I’m writing this review particularly because of «D.» being a total beast barista. By the end of the week she had my order memorized and got it to me faster than any Starbucks I’ve been to ever. A++ and D, if I could tip you specifically, I would!

I love this location! The best customer service out of all the Starbucks I’ve visited. They are friendly and always greet you with more than just a simple hello. Some even ask about you day, etc. The best part about this location is that it’s right next door to the Einstein’s Bagels. If I’m staying her for an extended amount of time, I get a bagel from Einstein and bring it over to Starbucks to enjoy my coffee. They are very nice about it and don’t say anything about a bringing in competitors food.
There’s only one employee who is not friendly: I’d have to come back to update her name, but she is the on with the long sandy red/​blonde hair who wears it in a long ponytail. She never smiles and is very curt and short tempered. She seems miserable every day as if she hates her job or hates people in general. Big turn off and I hate ordering from her.

Ask for your frappes to be twice blended! Eliminates ice chips:)
