Southwest Medical Associates Convenient Care at Durango

Very VERY disappointed on this guys here ! Went there, paid for consultation with a doctor named Greg and needed a referral. He sent a wrong referral, i am calling for one week now and they still didn’t make it right. After 3 days of his mistake, he resend the same referral. That’s what you get when u schedule your self with any doctor at any Clinique… Problem is still not solve, very very frustrating ! Just so you know who you’re dealing with ! Never go there unless you have all the time in the world.

Dr norris is awesome. However her nurse makes the visit painful. No smile. She is like the grim reaper. And shebyurns he badge so you cant see her name. Didnt wanna get the sister in trouble and was afraid of backlash with paperwork needed to be filled out. Shouldnt have to feel that way at a doctors office. Some people shouldny be a nurse. They may have the smarts but not the heart.

This is ridiculous. I have been here for over an hour and twenty minutes. Still waiting as I wrote this review! All I need is a simple xray of my clavicle bone as requested by my pcp. I inquired about when I will be seen twenty minutes ago and the front desk girl said I was next, and that there were 3 people ahead of me. So you mean to tell me for the past hour and a half theyve only taken xrays on THREE patients!!! This place is a joke. ACCORDING TO MY OWN EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REVIEWS… DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT A FEW HOURS!!!

Had an appointment scheduled to get my back checked out. Check in process was easy and front office and nurse taking vitals were great. However, the woman who identified herself as my provider was very rude and short. She asked me what level of pain I was in and whether I had injured myself. She asked me to move my legs and in a matter of fact way declared that I had degenerative disc disease. She didn’t want to even confirm her diagnosis (which took all of 3 minutes) through an x-​ray or scan and I had to ask her to put in a request for that. It is not okay to not only make rash diagnosis, but to not explain what a diagnosis really is and insult the patient. She asked how old I was and said I was «getting up there» (um, I’m 30). I will NEVER return here. My appointment was scheduled for 11:30am and for the 3 minutes she took out of her day to take care of me, there was no reason why I should’ve been there for an hour.

was excited when i walked in to only 3 other people in the waiting room. it took over 45 minutes to get checked in. don’t know how people can move sooo ridiculously slowly. to top it off the 2 receptionists were short and rude like «how dare you come here and make us work?»
*after almost 3 hours finally saw the doctor, who was very patient, thorough and detailed. IF YOU DON’T MIND WAITING FOREVER AND A DAY, the care from the actual doctor was good, that’s why 3 stars vs 1
