Beyond Nail Spa

This is my go to spot for pedicure and nails. I go to see Wei all the time. She takes her time and make sure I am happy with my fill and pedicure. Thank you Wei! Always book an appt they tend to get busy at times.

I have stopped in to get a pedicure here a few times since it is conveniently located for me. During my last visit I was pleased to find out that they now offer clients their own bags of pedicure supplies that they only use on your feet and that’s stored in ziploc bags with your name on it for the next time you stop in! Very hygienic and clean. They offer a bottle of water before starting on the service you request which is a nice gesture. Overall a good clean neighborhood salon that gets the job done.

Stay away from this place ! Awful, unprofessional, horable experience in my life! The manicure last 2 days really, my nails looks Ugly ! This place is just a big joke! Dirty, filthy, rude!!!

I have yet to find my staple nail salon but I wanted to write a review on this place because this is one of the few nail salons that left me unsatisfied.
Starting off with the pros: friendly staff, average prices (on the lower end side — I got a plain gel mani and pedi for $ 65), great color selection. They take walk ins which is great — thank you!
I was in desperate need of a manicure as I had allowed my previous gel manicure to grow out way too long that it was starting to break a little (wah to my weak and brittle finger nails). This place was conveniently located off 215/​Durango in a plaza full of other things. I saw this place on Unilocal right next to a place I was having coffee so I chose this place out of convenience on a Sunday afternoon (another pro… Being opened on a Sunday!)
Overall, the process of getting a mani and pedi was painless and easy. To be honest, nothing outstanding or noteworthy to say. I’m not going to say this is a con exactly, but the scrubbing was short (she did the exfoliation for about 2 seconds and rinsed it off) and no massage. I know some places dont really do it, but I figure the information would be helpful to those who seek it.
Now to the cons… I did notice inconsistencies between the length and shape of my nails. Each finger was different from the next either in shape or length, or both! My thumb nails were extremely short compared to the rest of my nails and my index finger was extremely round shaped as opposed to a square one like the rest. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until I was in the car and at that time the salon was past closing time.
There was also quite a bit of a language barrier, which I rarely have a problem with. There was a lot of miscommunication between the pricing and color selection but the staff was very friendly. It was just honest confusion!

I am super upset! I’ve been coming here along time and have spent a ton of money! (This is my loyalty card with the amounts I’ve spent, mind you I’ve been here more times before the offered the card) I used to only go to see Yen, she recently left. So u went back to give others a shot. They did good. So today at 12 noon I called to make an appt for gel mani, pedi and eyebrows at 3pm. I ALWAYS make appts!!! So I get there at 3, they’re busy. So I say I had an appt at 3. One of the girls says ok half an hour wait… Ummm why? I made an appt, I have to work right after which is why I MAKE APPTS!!! so one lady pulls me aside and whispers, can you come back tomorrow?! Oh helllll no!!! So I show her my card and ask is this how they treat their regulars? She just stares at me. So I say ok I’m going somewhere else, and they let me walk out. No way Yeb would have ever treated me like that. They just lost an amazing customer and tipper. Super bummed

I took my Daughter and I to get a pedi & we actually loved it!!! it was a great experience 1^st experience for my daughter! we will be going back. they offered my daughter crackers, we had a massage and we just had a good mommy and daughter time!

I always go there to get my eyebrows waxed and my eyebrows are always on point when the lady does my eyebrows. but when I got my nails done, my nail started to get yellow.

Went into this salon to have a few rhinestones replaced that had fallen off, simple enough right? Worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon.
Kim is the one who tried to «help» me if you can even call it that. She started drilling my gel nail, put gel top coat on and placed two stones and had me put my hand in the dryer. First off, the stones were sliding everywhere and I noticed that they were bigger than what I had requested, she raised her voice and said «that’s why I asked you»!! So taken aback I let it go and said «I’m sorry, I thought you were talking about the color of the stone». She grabs a box that contains the correct stones and starts over by wiping the top coat off which is sticky and all over my finger. She then uses glue to apply these stones, which is different than what she did the first time but I didn’t question it, she’s the professional right? When I take my hand out of the dryer the glue is all over my skin, almost as if spread/​leaked because she put so much, and there was white film all over the stones, and my skin, ruining the effect of even having rhinestones in the first place. She waves her hand at me and says «ok you done». At this point I had to say something, I’m not going to leave looking like this, she ruined my nail. I said «this is how you’re going to leave my nail?» and she flipped out, yelling and screaming, telling me to «get out of the salon», «it was my fault» etc etc,. So I told her that she was rude, and that the reason there were no clients in there was probably because of technicians such as herself. I asked the girl next to her for the owners info and Kim started screaming even more saying «we not giving it to you, you get out now». The other woman told me to take a business card and I should be able to reach them that way (I think she felt really bad for me). So I grabbed a business card and left. I did give them $ 5 to cover the cost of material because I always try to do what I feel is the right thing.
I will never go back, and I would urge people not to go to this salon. I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 11 years and in all my years, behind the chair and as a customer, I’ve never experienced anything quite like this. It is almost comical because she was just so out of line and quite frankly angry, LOL. But I feel it’s important for the owners to know who they have working for them and representing their business. You will never gain me as a customer but don’t allow someone with an anger issue to attack your clients. In the long run the only person she’s truly hurting is you.

Before I started doing my own nails I went here all the time to get my nails done. They were always so friendly and happy to see my sister and I! My guy was Wen and I was never disappointed. :)

I will never come back to this place to get my nails done. So I came in for a gel pedicure my feet did not once touch the water. she would splash a little on them but they were never in the bucket once. I asked her if this is the way she did all pedicures that’s when she began to act like she didn’t know what I was saying just smiled and nodded. I was so upset that she did a crappy job I walked out and didn’t even let her finish. If your the type who likes good quality nails and service this is not the place for you.

Really great experience! The guy that did my nails was very friendly and got my acrylics done within an hour and that includes drying time! He offered to take off my previous acrylics for free and I really appreciate that since a different place was about to charge me $ 5. I would definitely recommend this place, the staff is very friendly but they are not very good at speaking English.

My wife loves this place and they are very professional and kind (something rare in Vegas) every single time. They are understanding of kids and took care of my daughters pedi and mani for $ 10, furthermore gentleman wouldn’t take our tip for hooking our daughter up. Perfect local salon.

Seriously out of all the years I’ve lived in Vegas this is the only place I would ever recommend. Jimmy is the best! I’m from Southern California and beyond particular about things. This place went beyond! :) I highly recommend Jimmy! They are all amazing but he is my personal fave!

Service is bad. Rude employees/​owners like they didn’t even look at me when I talked to them. Not worth the 30 minute wait. My nails look horrible (also not worth the $ 45). They took FOREVER. Overall bad experience. Not going back.

I just got an old fashioned manicure. They did try to up sell to a gel manicure, but only once which was nice. They trimmed and shaped my nails as I requested and even put an extra layer of polish to make the color really pop. Most places I’ve been to will make an excuse that the color is too thin and will never cover all the way. The salon itself was very clean and spacious. I would’ve given 5 stars if I was entertained more. The only conversation made to all the customers there were strictly business. While they were nice, they need to converse with their customers more, make it more personal. :)

Collette Champaigne rents a room inside this place. I bought her services on groupon. Eyelash extensions, I have gotten sooo many compliments! plus! she gives great referral discounts!

I’ve been living in Vegas since July and I have yet to find an impressive Nail Salon until now! For just 35 bucks I got a manicure and a pedicure and both were very satisfying. The gentlemen that did my services gave amazing foot massages that almost put me to sleep. He took has time doing the work and stayed very professional. I will definitely be going back here to get my nails done.

Went yesterday and I am very pleased! [I should mention that I came to this place by chance… We went to Star Nails down the street, which i was hoping would be my go — to nail place since it’s closest to me, but they really suck at appointments! anyway, more on that later.]
My mani/​pedi guy was Hai and he’s awesome. Very attentive to detail & takes his time. My daughter came with as usual and she was very pleased with her tech too. [She knows i’m an avid reviewer so she made sure to let me know.]
It’s a large nail salon with the typical amount of stations. Well kept. The polish selection is not as large as some that I’ve seen– but there is a selection. OPI, China Glaze– the usual.
Gel options are minimal– but my first experience with Gel with them a is a good one. I came there yesterday with lifting gel polish from the former salon that lasted about a week. I let him know that I was there for a regular manicure because at that point my expectations of a 2.5 week gel set was shot to hell by Star. I went in there thinking gel was a waste of money to have for a week and start to lift. Just give me a regular mani right? Hai insisted that I give him a shot… I did… and i’m glad. My nails are on point. ;P
Pricing is decent. Less than most other salons in the area.
Gel Mani/​regular ped combo deal of 50.00 — saving 5.00.
I will come back and schedule with Hai— he’s a cool guy.

Kim the owner gives a great massage with her pedicure. The salon is clean and calm– which I appreciate.
On my last visit Kim referred me to Collette Champagne, which is an Esthetician/​Lash Artist that rents a room in the back I decided to have her do my eyelash extension fills, she was really sweet, really accommodating and did a fantastic job. I am so pleased I have found a one stop shop 5mins from my house (Rhodes Ranch)
Great prices on both!

Got an awesome haircut. My girlfriend says that the prices here are a lot cheaper than any of the other Nail/​Hair salons that she frequents.
5 Stars; would go here again.
