It’s pretty convenient to live in the area and have a Smith’s supermarket that is really clean and have excellent staff that really cares. They have what I need from personal hygiene to fresh produce.

So this is my second review at this location. went today to smiths to get milk & left the store empty handed. All the milks were so DIRTY. brown stains all over and a few of them were leaking… I don’t understand why this location is so dirty when they have so many employees working here… I posted a picture so you all can see for yourself. DID I WALKINTOWHOLEFOODS? This place has upped their game biiiiiig time since the recent renovation. I walk around in there feeling like I’m some rich folk in a fancy shmancy neighborhood. The produce section is all perrrrrrty, with upright demos, their Italian section is gourmet now with offerings of premium European butters and cheeses. They finally carry crème fraîche! The alcohol section is DECKEDOUT. It ain’t whole foods, but this is the Beverly Hills or Summerlin of Smiths. I feel cool going in here cuz I’m super cool like that.

This review is solely for my husband and my experience at the cheese station. Don’t bother going there on a weekday between 530−6p. There’s an older Asian lady, from her accent I believe she’s filapino. This is the 2nd time my husband and I had an issue here with her. She seems very welcoming and nice when she greets customers but when we asked her for a slice of the block of cheese she is all frazzled because she«has to clock out» my husband and I arrived at 540 was greeted by the filapino cheese lady and we asked for a half lb of cheese. she immediately said there were some already presliced but they were super small .10-.15lbs when we specifically asked for half lb of cheese. we watched her go to the meat station asking for them to call for assistance because she has to clock out so apparently she’s off at 6pm. 20mins is plenty of time for her to slice a block of cheese for us but she continued to pace around the area asking for her coworkers to find someone else to help us. She then started moving things around like the garbage can And then attempted to grab the brick of cheese we requested & opened it up. She then kept touching her face, ears, pen, scrap paper, pacing all over the place and all we wanted was a DAMN slice of cheese. I was immediately grossed out seeing her touch the garbage and dirty cardboard boxes and then my cheese talk about CONTAMINATION !!! I asked her to put on a new pair of gloves before she touches the block of cheese. My husband and I were reluctant to even purchase this cheese and was about to leave. We were seriously running out of patience and didn’t want this lady to ruin our wine and cheese night we had planned. Finally 20mins later helped arrived his name was skyler he immediately took over and this lady left without any further assistance she just took off abruptly. My block of cheese was still sitting there for the past 20mins. Thank god for Tyler he took over and sliced up our cheese in seconds for us and apologized for his coworker & even gave us a free one to make up for this ridiculousness of his coworker. He got us outta there within less than 2 minutes!!! If that filapino lady wouldve just done her job she would’ve been able to make us happy and still have time b4 it was her time to «clock out»!

Okay — I have lived in Las Vegas for seven weeks now. This is the closest store to my home. I hate it. The customer service is non-existent. Trying to find an employee to help find something is a cat and mouse game. The frozen pizza vendor was the most help I could find. The CHECKOUTLINES!!! OMG! Open another freakin’ register!!! Half of the registers are dark. And when they do decide to open one — they don’t take the next person in line, they take the person at the END of the line… WHAT??? The person in front of me had been waiting the longest. Disgust is what I saw on her face. These problems are not a «once in a while» thing. I go into the store once or twice a week and it is always the same. SUGGESTIONTOTHEMANAGEMENT… Send someone to the King Soopers on Green Mountain in Colorado to get a lesson in customer service and management. NOW!!! The only reason I give it one star — besides the fact that I have to — is cashier Dan S. No matter what, that guy is fast, efficient courteous and always has a smile on his face. EVERYONE in this store could learn a bit from this guy! I now search for him to checkout so I don’t have to deal with any of the other employees. I have found my one and only favorite employee at this store. Shopping has now become a chore again. I need to find another supermarket. :(

worst experience of my life. I went in to grab something since everything has been moved around I asked there so called store manager Shannon for help and she was a complete CUNT. completely ingnored me and went to talk to some guy that looked like a co worker. So I guess flirting with you employees is more important then customers

My favorite grocery store. I love the staff! They are always friendly and willing to help. If the lines get too long at checkouts they pull associates elsewhere and put them in the checkout lanes. They have self checkout lanes too but sometimes it’s easier to go through a regular lane when you do a lot of shopping lol. The store is going through a remodel and some customers were mad about everything being in different places but I don’t mind. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s done! Like I said my favorite grocery store!!!

I love shopping at this store because all the employees are helpful and nice. They go out of their way to find what you need. Obviously Smith’s customer service policy is working great, because it’s a competitive business and the only thing separating one from another is the customer experience.

I love Smith’s! It’s always clean and they have great produce. The bakery offers a great variety of bread, cakes and pastries. They offer self check-out, so you don’t have to wait long in line. Even though there’s hardly ever a line.

*** Unilocal100CHALLENGE46/100*** I mostly split my grocery shopping between Smith’s and Walmart as they are in the vicinity of where we live. What sets this place apart for me is their great customer service and that they’re on top of their game as far as getting people in and out. There’s never more than a couple of people in line at a time, you always see a manager open registers when it starts getting hectic. I like that, that’s great consideration on their part as nobody enjoys waiting in lines. I find myself really satisfied with the selections they have to offer. They carry a variety of specialty cheeses and meats. The produce are always fresh, from vegetables to fruits to seafood. Prices are competitive to similar stores and they offer various discounts like earning points for gas, sometimes 2X or 4X if you purchase certain items like gift cards and their weekly circulations offer sizable savings. They also carry a wide range of products for those that are health conscious, gluten free and organic. This store is open 24 hours and has a US bank inside, they conveniently have a Western Union and Coinstar for all your financial needs. Of course the staples: pharmacy, deli, bakery, floral etc. are there for all your other needs. Like mentioned earlier, customer service is a strong suit in this store. The sales associates are very pleasant and accommodating. If you linger in an aisle looking perplexed, it’s almost a guarantee that you’ll get approached by someone offering their assistance in any way. Always service with a smile.

My favorite smiths in town! I love that they have bulk foods in their health food section. And the smiths gas station is right across the parking lot, for extra convenience. We do like 80−90% of our shopping here so the discounts on our rewards card make gas even cheaper than usual at their station. Win-win!

I love shopping at this store! It is always clean and everyone who works there is so friendly. I come with my 2-year-old and someone has always made a point to open a register if they see me waiting next in line for something to open. Talk about customer service! I also want to give a shout-out to the the wonderful man who worked in the meat/seafood counter a couple of days ago. I mentioned how I always had trouble removing skin from salmon when I would cook it, so I just don’t bother buying fish with skin still on it. He said he would remove the skin for me right then and there! Nobody has offered to do that, but the fact that he went out of his way to do it was pretty cool and I appreciate that. Everyone is always so helpful and nice here. The only thing I wished they would do is put a larger selection of white wines in the cooler section– something other than a ton of champagne and suuuper cheap bottles. If they did this, I wouldn’t have to keep making a second stop at another wine/liquor store to get one chilled.

Smith’s is a foreign entity to me. I do not see them in the San Francisco bay area. I must admit it looks much like a Safeway or a Lucky as they carry all the commoditized products that the aforementioned carry(coke, kraft, kellogs, etc). That really is where the similarities end… Their baked goods are really good: They look good, they tasted good, and the quality is good. The tuxedo cake I had was really fantastic. The layers were rich light and sweet… and did not taste like artificial crap… ya hear that Safeway or Lucky. The deli was great. The baked breads were great. And what gave me the greatest pause and almost put my heart into cardiac arrest… the service here was amazing. The folks that work here are really sweet, enthusiastic, and love helping you. I cringe asking help at the supermarkets in San Fran. Nice job Smiths!!!

3 pumps were out so we had to drive around a couple times. Gas here wasn’t significantly cheaper than anywhere else in Vegas.
