This store is great, over the last few months I’ve been introduced to dozens of new games, many which I purchased, by Justin, Samantha and Derrick, the owner. What a solid team, everyone is very knowledgable and helpful, as well as eager and willing to teach and learn new games. They have game nights Wednesday, Friday and Saturday starting at about 5 PM until close (although they will play a game any day of the week if there is time) where any and everyone can come in and play any game, whether it be a store demo or something from your home. It’s conveniently located on Durango and Elkhorn, right off the highway in the Montecito Marketplace shopping center, 4 doors down from Smith’s. As a bonus, they offer military discounts and have a 50% clearance section! Wow!

Derrick, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The store had a great selection of the latest and greatest games. He said that he open the store after owning a comic book store because he wanted a place to buy great games for his daughter.
Being from out of town, I wish we had a store like this locally.

My friend brought me to this store, while looking for some rarer board games. They’ve got every game imaginable packed into this shop. Even some tables with some interesting games you’ve probably never heard of setup so you can try them.
I feel like the staff has played every board game in that store at one point in time, and they are more than qualified to help you find what you are looking for. Their prices of course are just a bit higher than Amazon or the like but I’d gladly pay that to skip the shipping and the opinions I get from the staff. Also feels great to support small business.
Overall the store is doing everything right!

I’m in from San Diego for CES. Been to many great board game stores in L.A. and San Diego. By far Shall We Play has pound for pound the best selection I’ve ever seen. Ever. These guys know their stuff. The owner and staff were also some of the nicest, friendliest and helpful people I’ve experienced in a long time.
Trust me Vegas, you have a goldmine in your neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back (with more money!).

I had a small gathering and decided to play CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY. Not only did I find it here, but also a very friendly staff member that was knowledgeable. The entire experience was positive. I am glad I stopped here and I am glad the store is not on the strip. Great place for games!!!

Fun Fun Fun! Crazy Knowledgeable and friendly place, even the people just playing games there are ready to help. Amazing variety of games for adults and a cute section for kids to get their game base started. I am not kidding about the variety either.
Its not one of those game stores you feel intimidated by either when you walk in, no glances like, «oh, so you think you can handle this game!!!’ — These people WANT you to play!
We love supporting the local business economy here too, so I highly recommend stopping by this shop– and I dare you to not walk out with a killer game! I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU!

Shall We Play? is the best game store in Vegas. Employees are super friendly and the selection is amazing. If you have a question the employees are more than happy to answer. Aaron and Derrick love teaching new games. Shall We Play? is a place you look forward to visiting and make a point to visit at least once a week.

This is one of the best board game shops in Vegas. The owner is very knowledgeable and can suggest games like a sommelier suggests wines. The shop is so well stocked and full of a wide variety of games, that I gladly make the 30 minute trek from my place.
I’m not sure if the person working that day was Derrick, but he took me and my wife aside to play some of the games that we might have found entertaining. He went over rules and he is very knowledgeable on the certain types of games and genres that are out there.
I highly recommend this place.

Quite a large selection of games… all kinds of games. From adult to child, clean to raunchy, strategy, word, picture, and lots in between. But the best part is the friendly staff. The clerk walked me through several games to help me find the type that I was looking for. Well played customer service.

Shall We Play? is a fantastic board game shop located in the north west. This business inspired me to sign up for Unilocal and write a review. Derrick helped my wife and I find the absolute perfect card game gift for our daughter who is turning six and also a game for just my wife and I called Hive. We even mentioned to Derrick that I was colorblind and therefore tried to steer away from games where a lot of color is involved. Derrick sold us on a game that met our requests (strategy, interesting, lots of variety) and the game is even in black and white! This dude KNOWS games and knows how to give top notch customer service. I will be spending a lot more time (and money!) there.

This place is truly a gem. It has a large selection of a wide variety of games. However the best part was undoubtedly the wonderful and generous owner, who taught and played two different games with me during my visit. He was friendly and helpful to everyone who walked in. I didn’t know this shop existed until a few weeks ago and am glad to find a business I can locally support. It’s shops like these where you want to go in person and purchase rather than online because they deserve your attention as they have put their attention towards assuring you have a great little place to shop.
I have now been in twice and think it’s a great shop with the latest in board games (even some freshly off kickstarter). Both times, I have been in I was able to find what I was looking for. It is obvious these folks know what games are hot and not just stocking the shelves with whatever.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
One thing I dislike about this location is the parking is awful. It’s in a large shopping center and both times I have been in I found it tricky to find a spot.

Shall we Play? is a really cool board game store located in the Montecito Shopping center in the Northwest. The store is located a few doors down from the Smith’s. The store is small but it is packed with hundreds of board games for every age. They have version’s of Monoply I have never seen before. Many of the games are just updated or branded version’s of classics. They also had some different games involving dice or one where the object is to climb Mt. Everest.
Check out Shall we Play? when you have a moment. Pick up a new family fun game to play at your next family get together. The store is clean and well organized and the staff friendly and helpful.

Spoke to an associate by the name of Matt. Very helpful, friendly and funny guy. Came in looking for a good board game to play with friends and he recommeneded Mage Knight (amazing game by the way, very in depth and interactive!) when we started talking about Magic the Gathering.
Store is very well organized and I was very suprised on the selection and variety, though I am not much of a board game player. I could only assume that if you enjoy board games you will find exactly what your looking for her. They had family oriented games, puzzles, card games, drinking games, role playing/​adventure, you name it. Luckily Matt helped me out and I found the perfect game.

What an amazing store! I totally thought this was a place for children, boy was I surprised! From drinking games, nerdy games, to adult only games, definitely a hidden gem in an overcrowded strip mall. (if Centennial Hills could actually have strip malls). Derrick was such a nice guy, answered all the questions we had about games, and recommended the best ones. Will visit again.

Fantastic store. Amazing selection of the hottest games made. In addition, the owner Derrick might be the nicest guy I have ever met. Derrick answered all of my games, and they were numerous, and played two games with me, Splendor and Five Tribes, Had a great time.

Stumbled upon this place after breakfast and it happened to be my daughter’s birthday.
The owner was so helpful! He really listened to what we liked and showed us everything! We played several games and had a lot of fun. He was crazy knowledge about the game universe and wasn’t pretentious at all.
