Fun store inside Planet Hollywood. When we visited, there was a lineup of famous former boxing champs on hand to sign autographs(Michael Spinks and, oh, I wish I could remember the others … not a boxing fan). The store is packed(almost too packed) with great sports memorabilia, much of it signed and authenticated. Prices are reasonable in my opinion. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and not pushy at all. I purchased a 16×20″ autographed photo of Joe Montana for $ 150(gorgeous image) for my husband’s birthday.(The clerk told me Joe visits the store a few times a year). I decided to have the photo framed for an extra $ 70, a good price for the product. Shipping to my home was free. The next day I had second thoughts about the style of the frame so called the store. They happily refunded the cost of the frame. The photo arrived on my doorstep in perfect condition a few days later. The icing on the cake was that my husband was visibly pleased with the gift — which is saying A LOT. Very good experience overall. I would visit here again in a heartbeat and not hesitate to purchase again.

Got to meet Mike Tyson! We were walking through the miracle mile shops after lunch and noticed a sign that said like Mike Tyson here today! I was intrigued. I walked in to see a lot of boxing shorts/gloves and photos of Mike Tyson. I asked the guy behind the counter and he said he was arriving at 3PM. We went back to the hotel and thought about it and went back after 3PM to take a photo with Tyson. It wasn’t free, but it was great to meet him. There wasn’t anyway to get freebie photos of him as they put him behind a curtain. Tyson got me into boxing and it was great to be able to shake his hand. The same hands that devestatingly KOed his first 19 opponents and 44 overall. I wish I had a few minutes to chat with him though. They take photos pretty fast and you get enough time to say hello and thanks basically. The store itself is pretty cool. They have a lot of signed pictures and other sports memorabilia. Everything was like half off so they could clear out some of their stock. Looks like they also had Joe Montana there recently for a meet and greet as well. I’m not sure how often they have sports stars, but you might be able to meet your favorite athlete!
