The Breast Center

A warm supportive atmosphere with excellent staff. Fortunately I just needed a routine mammogram but I wanted a place that specializes. Glad I went out of my way to come to this center. Best health care experience I’ve had in Vegas so far after one year in town.

Best experience yet. Been to cedar Sinai breast center and these professionals at the breast center in sunrise are I would say the most professional and compassionate I’ve come across. Your not a number but a human being.

For women’s healthcare, the breast center is one of the most phenomenal places I’ve ever experienced. The facility has a very homelike feeling. The radiology ultrasound technicians are friendly and considerate. The entire staff is empathetic to the patients receiving care. Every time I have been. I felt like my sisters or my accounts were there to help me through what can be a very uncomfortable and nerve-​racking procedure.
Upon arrival, you immediately feel like you are in your own living room. A receptionist does sit in the middle of the room. As soon as she checks you in, she offers you coffee water and cookies. After the initial check and you are taken to a private room to review your insurance and collect any co-​payment. By the time you are done, the technician is waiting to take you. Every time I have been, this is the case. Easy check-​in, no waiting, and warm, friendly, caring staff that is been there for as long as I can remember.
The facility has modern digital technology for any procedure you need. They provide ultrasounds, mammograms, and a highly advanced MRI machine designed for detecting breast cancer and abnormalities.
My physicians shares the same building, and often times my tests are shared with my physician immediately for approval before I am released. There have been a few times my physician has requested specific views after reviewing films that are taken during normal standard procedures. The nice part about the process they have for physician review is that the patient knows the procedure was performed to the physician standards.
I highly recommend the press center for female medical diagnostics.

I’ve been coming here for a few years for my regular mammography, traveling from one end of the valley to the other, after a) Red Rock Radiology was taken over by Mountain View Hospital and raised the cost of a mammo from under a hundred dollars to stratospheric levels. (I don’t pay, but refusing to use them is my protest vote) and b) Desert Radiology botched the test, requiring re-​x-​ray, and still producing images that Dr. Gardner at the Breast Center pronounced blurry and unreadable.
I don’t recall how I ended up at the Breast Center initially, but I keep returning because I’m treated in a professional manner, the equipment is up-​to-​date and digital, I never have to wait months for an appointment, which I’ve experienced at other places, and I’m in and out quickly. The techs are gentle and competent.
My only complaint is that this is the only mammo facility that does not provide spray deodorant for after the procedure! When I questioned the tech (I had an event to attend an hour later and wouldn’t be returning home), she said it was because some people have allergies. (Yeah, the excuse du jour). I think the real reason is that some people have stolen the deodorant in the past!
