Mark One Apartments

Let me start by saying that I was an excellent tenant, I was told so by the management. I remained patient through the smelly water, the air conditioning unit constantly breaking almost every month, and the time when 10+ party girls were occupying a room on my floor, the 11^th floor, banging on doors at 3am and verbally abusing other tenants on the elevators. I paid my rent on time. Regarding the smelly water, I had a professional mold inspection done that I was going to use to evacuate the unit quicker, because I was having mold-​related symptoms. However, I liked Ruby and Gretchen too much to put them in that position, so I rode my lease out the remaining 2 months. Come time to move out, I played along for all the minute details I missed that resulted in me having to pay even more move-​out costs. Through all of this, I give them the benefit of the doubt. But then, I receive a letter in the mail at my new address which told me I am responsible for $ 800+ for carpet replacement of the unit??? If this turns into anything more than a scam, because I expect a scam from a company like this, then I have copious amounts of ammo to fight a fight over legality of this.

As a Vegas native. I have seen/​driven past these apartment since I was a kid. However, the outside façade doesn’t do the inside justice. They have done a decent job renovating many aspect of their grounds and the apartments themselves provide new school amenities with a 70s Vegas flair.

The management does not seek professional services when dealing with maintenance issues to keep operating costs low. This has caused a health issue with flooded carpet and pad in the unit. Totally mishandled. Staff seems to have difficulty keeping you updated on what is going on with maintenance issues.
Every place has issues I understand but this frequently is a bit rediculous

Girly is very rude and she is the manager and the owner is super rude and doesn’t get much done… I moved in and everything was broken and I called maintenance every day and the owner got to a point where he was going to fight me and he was nasty and in a very bad location is this apartment complex
