I went to get my hair cut at the salon. I advised the hairstylist the cut I was interested in. Not sure why but when cutting my hair she made me stand up. I asked her if I could sit on the seat. Every thing else was fine until I washed my hair to realized one side of my hair is longer than the other and she missed a few strands of hair. Very disappointing mostly because true total cost for my haircut was much more than previous quoted. Do not recommend going there at all!

I’ve been going to Jessica Peters for several years and when she moved to the JC Penneys salon I followed her there a few years ago. Even though Jessica exclusively does my hair, the other women in the salon have always been really nice to me. Although a little dated looking right now, it’s always clean and welcoming and it’s going to be renovated soon. The prices are really good for the quality of work being done and everyone uses high quality products at their work stations. I go several times of year, sometimes to do some major work because Jessica specializes in exotic colors and they never try to rush us out of there. Also, since it’s located in a shopping mall there are coffee kiosks so that you can enjoy something tasty while you get your look updated.

I came here a couple of years ago wanting to try the new trend(at the time) — ombré highlights. My hairstylist happened to have a broken hand, so she was working with one hand and a casted one. I should’ve been wary from the start. Anyways… I let her proceed and basically: my hair look like my tips were dipped dyed in bleach. She didn’t even use toner, so my bleached hair had that a cheap orange tone to it. Never again. …She still charged me $ 90 for the dye job.
