UPDATE: Pool builder told me that he had some health issues which was why I was not contacted. Pool took over 15 months to get completed from end to end. Completely missed the first swimming season, so then I got pushed back month after month. The pool itself is very nice. They completed the job as I had designed. They never laid out the pool plan so I could visually see it on the back yard, so I recommend that if you use them, that you map that out. Got my money back that was owed to me. 5 star for the pool itself, 1 star for the 15+ month timeline. Total 3 star.

I read other reviews before making the decision to use or not use Hawaiian Pools. We went ahead and used them based on the recommendation of a good friend. We had an overall good experience. In the beginning everyone was extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions or concerns.
They were rocking and rolling almost instantly once contracts were signed as we didn’t have a HOA to deal with which bumped us to the top of the list.
I’ve never seen something come together so quickly and efficiently. We were told 6 weeks from start to finish.
As we got closed to the anticipated completion date the frustrations began and I slowly started to get the attitudes that others had written about.
There were things we weren’t told, and the customer service went downhill drastically. We went a few weeks past that estimate due to weather, mostly, only to be told we had to wait 45 days from the date of plaster to be able to use our pool cleaner and told to go get a pool service. We had never been told of the 45 days or instant need to have a pool service while the plaster set so that was rather frustrating. We also had issues with concrete being cracked by their heavy equipment. When we finally brought it back up to them we were told they wouldn’t fix it which was a little disappointing considering it wasn’t broke when they began work. When it initially happened we were assured it would be fixed!
In the end we are very happy with our pool and love our backyard and I WOULD recommend them IF you are patient and don’t mind being made to feel you are on the back burner once your final payment is made. The pool is amazing but the customer service to this day is lacking which is very frustrating after you have given a company your hard earned money to do a job for you.

I made an appointment for a «free in-​home estimate» two weeks prior to the appointment date. I get a call the day of about an hour before the scheduled appointment telling me they can’t make it because they double booked. Don’t waist your time with this company, if they’re not punctual when they’re trying to earn your business why would they be for the rest of the project. I’ll be shopping elsewhere for my pool.

One of the most honest pool builders that I had come to my home to give a bid for a pool. Unfortunately we had to postpone the project as the financing did not go through. Hopefully next year. Thank you guys

Have to downgrade my review. Contractor never returned our last call, and hasn’t called once to see if everything is working okay. Also, I found out that builders are supposed to give you a startup. I had to get the salt and the PH on my own. It’s too bad because they are nice folks.

Worst company ever. They came to my house to measure my ysrd. We have to call one week later to get the dedign, after they sent the design which doesn’t include the features we told them. We called bavk, no answet, emailed back. No answer. One more week, we emailed again we told them we will go someone else if they don’t get back to us with the appointment. DAVID, that is the guy, he said they only want to work with customers they wsnt!!!
You don’t follow up. You don’t provide customers service, I will never recommend this company. Hope the owner can see this review. If they blow away all the customers, good luck with your business !!!
