Omg. Three employees arguing in front of a packed register of customers just wanting to leave. Never felt so unwelcome in a store. No question everyone hates their job and wants to go home. At least on this day and time

Love this new location, close to the house, tons of parking. The cashier remembers us every time, even asks about our pets. They honor returns, and it’s easy to find everything. They have power tools(heh). Pet stuff, toys, pumps for ponds, etc, power cords, tires for trailer and trailer sized things. Just go in, it’s cool and fun.

Cheap quality tools but cheap prices. Only 3 stars because they stopped carrying stuff for us rural folks… where’s the windmills and mole chasers you used to stock?

Strategy for shopping at this location: Decide what you want before you enter. Once inside, move quickly. Brace yourself for the noxious fumes. Bring earplugs to dampen the horrible radio station blasting over the sound system. Try to find reasons not to shop here. I have no idea what the fumes are. It smells like smoldering industrial waste. I believe this store should be investigated by OSHA. I asked the cashier how she could tolerate her job. At first, she said, the fumes gave her headaches and sore throats. She eventually got used to it. She tunes out the awful music. I marvel at anyone’s ability to tune out sounds suitable for torturing terrorism suspects. I urge Unilocalers to have sympathy for workers stuck in awful jobs. It’s her fault, some will say. There’s nothing stopping her from getting a better job. It’s not that easy. You don’t know. Empathy is a trait severely lacking in some segments of the population. This store occupies the site of a former Sav-On store that stood empty for at least a decade. This strip mall has not been kind to retailers. Food4Less recently cleared out after taking over a former Lucky supermarket location that stood empty for many years. I wonder if Harbor Freight will succeed where others have failed.

This Harbor Freight is the best of all of them. right around the corner from my house however it also it’s much cleaner than her friends and the people that work there don’t look like the kind of scum that shops there

Over the past year, I have hear a lot about Harbor Freight. Finally… I was able to pay it a visit and purchase an air compressor I have been longing for. Upon arrival, I was smacked in the face by sights and smells of all things manly. A smile crept up on my face and remained while I located said compressor and did some other impulse shopping(very easy to do here). A father with handy/MAN skills would do well to bring his children to this shrine of fixing and building things. For those who are not technically savvy, this is the place to acquire the tools and knowledge. Whenever I asked an employee where something was, they knew exactly where to find it. All smiles and knowledgeable. When I wanted an obscure items like a set of funnels, my buddy was able to advise. He is Harbor Freighter having been numerous times. I was jealous and set a goal for myself to develop the same acumen. I don’t know all of the particular in’s and out’s of coupon deally bops… but I will. There is a mailer. There is emailed coupons. It seems the absolute best deal, is to become an «Inside Member.» This is where the absolutely best savings can be found. BE sure to keep an eye out for the FffffffRrrrrrrrEEEeeeeeeeeeeee Coupons. I rolled out with a magnetic bowl along with my additional purchases. I tip my hat to the pregnant employee who lugged around the 45 pound compressor! Had I known they would a woman with child to haul, trust that I would have NEVER allowed you to touch it! I look forward to many, many returns. Given that I paid $ 45 for 2 years to be an «Inside Member» rest assured… I will be back!!!

I ordered a Commercial Power Drain Machine online. When it arrived it had a defective wheel installed on it. After waiting about an hour on the phone to the main customer service 800 number and reaching no one, I decided to drive to the Rainbow Drive location in Las Vegas. After initially being told that I would have to bring the whole machine back in just to get another wheel, the manager Catherine was very kind and worked with me to find another wheel. She was very polite and worked through the issue to find the item I needed. Very pleasant visit with this local store.

Place sucks they refused to take back a jack stand that I bought from them because I didn’t have a receipt. Spoke to the manager and was told the same thing. So I went to the one on Decatur and they took it back. I guess I won’t be shopping at the rainbow location anymore!!!

This place is to guys like Bath and Body Works is to gals. I could have spent all day in here just browsing around and left feeling I had accomplished something. Lots of variety and great prices on most of it. I just recently rented some items from a local storage/truck rental establishment and found I could have purchased the same items at Harbor Freight for what I paid in rental fees. I picked up a three ball trailer hitch for less than $ 20 that normally runs upwards of $ 60. Check out their website prior to arrival for great deals and coupons. The staff were all knowledgable and helpful. Defintely my new first stop when looking for tools and accessories. If Harbor Freight carries it, odds are the price is going to be one of the best in town.

So Harbor Freight doesn’t have everything like a huge department hardware store has, but what is does have is at better prices than all the rest. We needed some basic things like tiny neednose, small flat wire cutters, sandpaper, etc for doing a project and for doing some of our vaping builds. We do the mechanical mod route of vaping which requires a little bit of building with wick and wire to vape on. We got everything for half the price here than what I see at other stores. I just bought some sand paper from Home Depot for $ 6 a few days ago, it was $ 3.99 here for a bigger pack here to give you a comparison. Wire cutters were $ 2 versus $ 6 for a different pair elsewhere I was looking at. I don’t know how long it’ll last quality wise, but it’s good enough just to cut a little piece of wire for me. I don’t always need tools and we’re not a handy man type household so I probably won’t be here often, but if I do need a tool it’s on the shortlist of places to buy from.

Yay, open down the street from home! This place, in my point of view, is like a man’s pic-n-save. Not everything is quality, but it sure is affordable. Don’t get me wrong, they have great items. Lots of tools and things you don’t see in stores. I’m a chick, and it’s not all that thrilling. I’d rather be in Target. I can see the attraction for the men folk, so I’m glad we have it. lol.
