Food was amazing, but the service was even better!!! My husband and I ordered the tomato and burrata, spaghetti, and the squash. All the dishes were excellent. Our waitress as well was lovely. We will be returning soon.

LV residents will tell you this is one of the BEST Italian restaurants on the strip! Its casual, fresh, affordable, and so so tasty. Look listen to me, GET the DOCG Pizza to start with, and finish with the Carmel pudding!

Great food, fast service. The bread will give your jaw a workout though. The chips are incredible and the eggplant is perfect.

Tableside pesto ravioli 5* Spaghetti and meatballs 3* Caesar salad 5* Octopus and scallop appetizer 3*(too salty) Caramel bundino 5* Our server was fantastic! She gave me a taste of a Sangiovese that I loved and ended up ordering with my meal. Strange seating if you sit in one of the bench seating tables along the left wall. The bench seats are awkwardly low in relation to the table and you feel like you’re at the little kids’ table at Thanksgiving.

Brought clients here for dinner — food was excellent. I had the filet which was really delicious. The bread at the table is ridiculous. Ordered the salted caramel and tiramisu desserts for the table — both were not hits. Service was excellent as well.

Not really sure what all the hoopla is about for this place. Overpriced and food was mediocre — my local neighborhood Italian restaurant does better at half the price. We ordered the sopressata pizza, the short rib pasta, and the lobster and rock shrimp pasta. The slices of mozzarella on the pizza wasn’t melted on the pizza and was actually so heavy and still in it’s original form that it slid right off due to its weight. The ‘short rib’ pasta that I had just looked, felt, and tasted like it was just ground beef. The taste wasn’t anything memorable, until I realized it tasted just like Chef Boyardee(I went through a scary but so satisfying canned food phase in middle school). Pasta wasn’t cooked all the way either. The lobster and rock shrimp was pretty good, but not a dish to order if you’re hungry as portions were pretty small. In essence, this is the probably one of the few places where I left food on my plate and didn’t ask for a to-go box. Sometimes, I’ll even ask for a box and just throw it away the moment I get home due to guilt, but I really didn’t want to see it again. I literally have never felt that bad as I could imagine my tiger mother screaming in my head about how there’s a bunch of other starving asian kids in the Phillipines or something to that effect. If you’re looking for great pasta, literally just take one step left and head to Scarpetta where the environment and service is actually wonderful or turn around and head down the hallway next to Jaleo and grab some awesome pizza. The next day I went to The Henry downstairs and even though the menu was more d café like, I wish I would have gone there instead of wasting my money here.

We dined one evening while we were staying at The Cosmopolitan. We made reservations through the concierge as we’d walked by it a few times and it was always busy. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were seated right away. Our server was prompt and had a great personality. We asked about recommendations, to which he gave several. I ordered the Pici(duck and truffle sauce) and my husband ordered the Linguine(spicy, lobster and shrimp). Both meals were great. Pasta was perfectly done and portions were good. Our server was very attentive and we enjoyed him. We got the mascarpone cheesecake to go. When we ate it later… it was AMAZING. Overall, the service and meal were wonderful. We will definitely go back next time we visit The Cosmo.

***3 ½ stars*** We dined at DOCG Enoteca for dinner one evening. We came after 9PM, when the dinner rush was over and it was evident because there were many empty tables. However when we gave our party number to the hostess, she informed us that we would need to wait a few minutes for a table. Maybe they were expecting a large party but there were plenty of tables to choose from. Nevertheless we were seated and given menus. We ordered drinks to sip on while perusing the menu. I decided on a glass of chardonnay, it was light and refreshing, just what I wanted. For my meal I ordered the caccio and peppi which is a pasta with a simple sauce of oil and lots of black of pepper. Bread was served after we ordered which we immediately devoured. 5 starving girls plus still jetlagged on east coast time made for a quick disappearing act of the bread. My pasta dish was tasty, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was very peppery in flavor. Service was ok throughout our meal. However, I got the impression that since we did not order bottles of wine that they felt they did not need to pay too much attention to us. Just an observation and I could have been completely off. But those are my thoughts.

We dined at the DOCG Enoteca back to back over 2 days. It was for lunch on both occasions. It was a party of two the first day and a party of 12 on the second day. The food and service on both occasions was great. I had the delicious Strozzapreti Pasta for lunch. This dish was absolutely delicious with generous portions of seafood and pasta. The creamy texture on a tomato base clicked with the spices infused into the fish. We ordered the Prosciutto Pizza as well which had a heavy garlic base and therefore complemented the pasta dish. This location is inside the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and has a great ambiance. Service was great as well. Servers were informative and helped pick out the dishes to go with my tastes. I will recommend others to patronize this restaurant and I will do so again when another opportunity permits.

I have to admit… I have a crush on Scott Conant. :) Had to convince my friend on her bday to try this place. It was a quiet Sunday lunch. Love the feel and comfort of the place. We had the: 1. CHICKEN«PARMIGIANO» served with fresh made chips: chicken cutlet, smoked mozzarella & tomatoes on bread. It was so tasteful with flavors and the chips just thin and cripsy. Very good! 2. PROSCIUTTO Pizza: basil & tomatoes: this sucker smelled so good when they brought it out, but the chicken parmo sandwich won, so I ate that first. Then I attacked the pizza. The pizza was a perfect blend of salty from the prosciutto and the sweetness of the tomatoes, and the basil just tops everything off. 3. ASSORTMENTOFICECREAMSANDWICHES: that day we got a sample of some great pairings. See the pic… MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm… Service was awesome, good was mouth watering, and a great kick off to my friends bday celebration(we already started on Friday)!

D.O.C.G is a casual Italian restaurant created by Scott Conant. It’s located right next to his upscale Italian place Scarpetta on the 3rd floor of the Cosmopolitan. Both places are not a disappointment! I Was excited to learn that in past few months D.O.C.G added lunch to their hours. Stopped in on Monday afternoon & sat at the bar. We were waited on promptly by a friendly bartender and greeted by a manager. Along with the lunch menu they showed us their dinner & happy hour menus for future reference. Looking at all the menus we ordered meatballs to start but they weren’t on the lunch menu. However, they we able to make them for us. Glad they did. Wonderful! Next we split a Caesar salad & the Soppressata Picante pizza. The salad was perfect & not overpowered by garlic. The pizza wasn’t greasy, nice amount of spice, and had a light, chewy crust. We enjoyed it all… Definitely will be back.

An unexpected 4 stars. Service great, casual yet nice, food nothing but good… loved the lobster pasta, filet was sort of boring but good. They share with an upper end restaurant next door saying they are separate kitchens but I dont buy it. Come here for a great Italian meal

D.O.C.G «Pici» Thick spaghetti with braised duck sauce and black truffles. I love anything with truffles so of course I ordered this. This was amazing! Located inside Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas next to Scarpetta. Great service! I will be trying everything else when I come back!

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Of course, I’m a family man that would much rather eat out with my wife and two little girls, so I might not have any business reviewing a restaurant like this. There were fifteen of us. We had the Caesar salad, margherita pizza, calamari and pasta with sausage to start and all were great. The entrée that I ordered was what was unbelievable. I got the filet of sole and don’t remember what I’ve had that’s been better. We had the salted caramel budino for desert and it was outstanding. Great service, nice atmosphere. Loved the place.

Popped in here to the bar on an early Saturday night at 5:15pm. Kinda slow. Greeters and bartender were both very personable. They do have a Sat/Sun happy hour, so I ordered the happy hour Roman Goddess drink(ok) and the Lobster Arancella(ok). The lobster dish consisted of 4 lightly battered and fried 1″ balls that weren’t that rich or flavorful. The pesto sauce they came with offered a nice contrast though. For dessert, I had the Salted Caramel Bundino — phenomenal! I wanted another but realized an extra pound would not be a good idea for my half-marathon the following night…

Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in at the Cosmopolitan. I was hungry and had lost interested in watching the Colts get destroyed by the Bills, so we decided to grab lunch at D.O.C.G. Enoteca. D.O.C.G. Enoteca had added lunch service since our last visit to Las Vegas. We’d eaten dinner at Scott Conant’s other place, Scarpetta, and had thoroughly enjoyed it, so we figured D.O.C.G. Enoteca was a pretty sure bet. It was early in their lunch service and the early NFL games were still in full swing, so the dining room was virtually empty. We opted to sit at the bar where we were warmly greeted and capably attended to by David, our bartender/server. I started off with a cocktail, the Sicilian Fashion($ 14), a riff on the classic Old Fashioned made with Elijah Craig, Solerno blood orange liqueur, and muddled orange and cherries. It was a good drink to kick off my Vegas vacation. For lunch, I had the Half Sandwich & Salad or Soup($ 10) choosing the Porchetta sandwich and«D.O.C.G.» Antipasto salad. The Porchetta was a hot pork sandwich topped with an over-easy egg. It was messy, but a savory and delicious sammy! The salad; a mix of Antipasto standards like Parmesan-Reggiano cheese, thinly sliced Italian meats, and peppery Arugula; was no slouch either. Bottom line: Sure, you could go to Panera and get their Pick Two for a couple of bucks less. However, you’d be missing out on one of the best lunch values to be found at a Strip property. The Porchetta and Antipasto salad duo was delicious, satisfying, and a veritable steal for the price. Top it all off with a well-made cocktail and I was sold. I’m a big fan.

yum, yum and more yum! i wish i’d come here sooner because we ate everything off our plates. we ordered the sausage sandwich, arugula salad with chicken, and two plates of pasta. we watch chopped a lot and scott is always talking about how pasta is best when its aldente. we finally got to taste what perfect aldente pasta tastes like. oh my goodness, writing this review is making me hungry and wanting to go back to vegas just to have a bowl of their rigatoni. we arrived to the restaurant on a sat afternoon and it was pretty empty. although we were one of the few diners in the establishment, service was excellent and very tentative. the place feels more like a casual Italian cafeteria and is pretty comfy to just chill. need to come back next time to try the pizza or have dinner.

Lunch at DOCG Enoteca was absolutely fantastic. Yes — I said lunch. Most people know DOCG as the sister restaurant to Scott Conant’s Scarpetta — a casual spot to grab an Italian *dinner* in the Cosmo. DOCG recently expanded its offering into lunch, and I was very impressed when a friend and I dropped in on a Saturday at ~11:30am. The place was mostly empty, but we decided to sit at the bar anyway. The bartendress pointed us toward the sandwich selection. I immediately gravitated toward the chicken parmigiano sandwich, with fried chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, and herbed chips made in-house. This sandwich was fantastic. It was a huge portion, but the quality was there. The chicken was juicy and crisped up nicely. The bread was crusty and delicious. Even the herbed chips were a pleasure. At only $ 11, the price was surprisingly reasonable, especially since this sandwich easily fed two. We like the sandwiches decided to splurge on dessert, so we ordered DOCG’s signature salted caramel budino and a round of cappuccinos. I’ve had a lot of variations on this dessert over the years, but this was one of the best, with a smooth and creamy texture and the perfect balance of salt and sweet. I loved the addition of pretzel toffee, which went especially well with the cappuccino. Service was fantastic. Our bartendress was a sweetheart, happy to make us feel at home even though we were out-of-towners. I hope DOCG’s lunch is successful, but it’s the best deal in the Cosmo right now, both quality– and value-wise. Check it out!

This place is actually pretty delicious Italian food that usually has a couple of openings for last minute reservations should you need it. I have eaten at this place several times and have yet to be disappointed. The service rocks, the food is fresh and the drinks are strong. The lasagna here is worth a mention as it is delicious, especially when washed down alongside a bold Tuscan red. Overall, not a super high end establishment but an extremely solid option for some casual Italian dining without having to leave the Cosmo. Pros– Service Location Food Flavoring Drinks Menu Bread Cons– Loud Space is small Portions are a tad small Can get pricey
