Very similar to Lush company for me. Lush does have more for skin care, hair care, and soaps. However, they have a lot of bath items and bath bombs too! I got the starter kit with the bombs, bath bubble, and scrubbing rocks. It was funny because the employee JOSH was trying to get me to get the set instead of individual items because it would save me money. But when I did the math, it was the same price. LOL he meant that it saves me because i get this little clear pouch bag that it gets put in. which I did not really care for. But it was funny. He was a doll and a great sales person. It was better because we were the only ones in the store so he was really taking the time to help us out and try different items before purchasing. I would definitely visit again when I go to Vegas.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful but sadly the product was not. I purchased a lavender bath bomb but it wasn’t as great as I’d expect it to be… Bath felt the same as if I was to bathe without it. I was looking forward to a relaxing bath but the bath bomb stained the tub and I had to scrub it afterwards to clean it off!(Didn’t want housekeeping to clean my mess) Maybe next time I will pay the extra bucks and go to Lush instead.

I went there last year and bought a few bars of soap. They’re really cute and nicely made, so I’m quite surprised of the low ratings for this store. I’m bummed out their branch in Downtown Disney is closed. The sales guy was a bit annoying, pushing for products, but I get it — he’s just doing his job. It’s hard to shop around when you sample their soap and walk around with wet hands. Anywho~ over all it was a nice experience. The guy was polite. The soap smells nice and I found a perfect wedding themed present for my friend — a soap with a groom and bride in the middle!

I was shopping in this store with a Frind for a gift for someone. A sales guy came up to me and kept following me around trying to put some product on my arm. The product was in a big jar and it was clear that he was not changing the utensil he was using on each person as it was dirty. I kept having to repeat my self over and over again that I did not want him to smear product on my arm. He was gross and sweating profusely. He stood way to close to me and acted as if he was on some sort of drugs or had adhd. He then started reading every label around me as if I could not read. I very nicely ask him to just let me read be my self as I know how to read. I told him that if I needed any help I will ask him but I am really ok. The guy then flipped out and started screaming at me telling my to get the F out of the store and not to come back. I was shocked and told him he will get reviewed on Unilocal and I then took his photo which I am attaching.

Last year when I visited store, staff were helpful but I didn’t buy nothing. This year I picked up some hand soap bars and asked for extra bags to give out the clerk said she could only give one more. She suggested I purchase satin bags when I told her it was for gifts. I was little disappointed that I couldn’t get extra bags but I also understand that anyone could come into the store and steal right? As for the soap bars, they’re $ 6 for a typical bar soap. But it supposed to be all natural.

This person here. I think his name was Alexander or Alejandro or maybe it was something else… I was hung the hell Way over was buying a present for my little niece. I forgot her bday, this dude, the employee laughed; but hey, it was funny though. The person was really helpful and explained with what appeared to be extended knowledge of the different products being sold, as well as allowing me to try the different samples. He seemed like a very good employee who knew his stuff, and do you know what else he knew, he knew how to take advantage of customers. I bought the gift package which had a label on the box for $ 46.99. I asked how much is the total package itself with this setup but without the gift wrap box. He said it was just a $ 5 package wrap fee. Ok. fine, I bought it, and when it rung up, the price was $ 39.99; so I did not see this on the register b/c I got distracted by a double combo of the free sample of lotion wash he introduced me to and a fine ass latina mama mia with some double D’s was walking by juggling those u know whats. I got hypnotized, but anyway. So next thing was, he rings it up, and total cost was $ 50.80, ok, so I assume tax etc, whatever. Fine. I paid for it, and he staples another receipt with my credit card purchase on top of the original receipt. So I didn’t realize this until I got back home. The cost of $ 38.99 was«removed» and re keyed in for $ 46.99 So basically, he ripped me for $ 7. You bastard,.

After attending a concert at The Axis at Planet Hollywood, I stopped into Basin to shop while I waited for the chaos in the parking garage to mellow out. The employee working that evening was extremely friendly and helpful, even though it was 20 minutes before closing. He let me sample numerous items and answered every question I had. I adore products sold by one of Basin’s competitors(Lush), and while the prices were fairly similar, in my opinion none of the products smelled quite as good as those found at Lush… and that is typically how I determine what to purchase at these kind of stores. I ended up only purchased bath bombs. I personally prefer the ones I get at Lush, even if they cost a little more. I would shop at Basin again if I was already at the Miracle Mile shops, but if I am going to make a special trip to purchase fancy soaps or bath bombs, I am going to go to Lush.

Lush ain’t got nothing on this place. Little pricy but the stuff works much better and it cheaper. More items to choose from and the service is really cool. I would recommend anything here if you are balling on a budget!

After the Unilocal Elite tasting event at Koi, and a late dinner at Burgr, Diane and I walked through the Miracle Mile Shops to get to our car in the parking lot on the other side. While doing so, a waft of pleasant fragrances entered our nostrils. We turned toward the smell and looked into a shop of artfully displayed colorful bath and shower soap products; then, liking what we saw, we walked in to browse. Here a wide array of glycerin soaps cut into rectangles caught our attention, and we wound up buying a nice-sized chunk of Japanese Cherry Blossom soap that smelled just like cherry blossoms, and even had a Cherry Blossom Tree appearing within the glycerin itself. I can also report that in the shower the pleasant fragrance endured, and the long bar of soap slid easily over the skin. This is a shop with friendly and helpful service, to which I will likely return to purchase and sample other wares.
