I love it! I’ve had so much pizza from this town, but this definitely competes for #1. The customer service was astounding. They were so nice, genuine and fast! Literally the best. And when he said my pizza was only $ 1.50, I was shocked! With all fresh ingredients and hand-tossed dough, the price sounded like a mistake! But it wasn’t. Finally I got to sit and eat my slice of Hawaiian pizza. Beside the green peppers(which I don’t really like anyway) it was delicious. The only reason this place is missing a star is due to their beverage situation. You have to get your drinks from one of those coin soda dispensers(the real name is eluding me for some reason). Definitely didn’t detract from the quality of the food, but since I didn’t have cash, I was mighty thirsty by the end of my meal.

I’m from Phoenix and my brother and his family live in Las Cruces. I had just driven 6 hours from Phoenix to bring my niece home from visiting for her winter break. We were tired from the drive and hungry since we had no eaten since breakfast. We decided to order pizza and wings. We’ve ordered from Roadrunner when I have visited before and I remembered liking it. I can’t eat white flour, so I was just going to be having wings for my meal. We ordered 25 total, all EXTRACRISPY and a large pizza. We got the food home and everyone that was eating pizza said it was great, but the wings were the worst wings I have ever had in my life, and I’ve had some pretty nasty wings before. They had more fat and skin in them than meat and they were nowhere near crispy. After myself, my niece and my nephew attempted to tear apart several wings and get to some meat, we all finally gave up. My sister-in-law had to run an errand anyway and we all decided that they were so bad that it needed to be brought to Roadrunner’s attention. I wasn’t there, but my sister-in-law informed me that the person helping her informed her that he didn’t know what he was supposed to do since he couldn’t take them back and resell them?! I have been working in the food industry for 12 years and that is not only completely disgusting, but also entirely against health code! The man helping her then finally offered her 15 free wings on their next visit, which seemed fair, however, she wasn’t given a voucher or coupon of any sort, all the man did was write MY name(I don’t even live here!) and«15 wings» down on a piece of notebook paper(we have a picture) in chicken scratch. My sister-in-law then asked what she was supposed to do when that piece of paper got lost or thrown away, hence the picture. The guy helping her then informed her that, that’s how they do things there and he could not do anything else for her. My sister-in-law then asked to speak to the owner, to which the man said he wasn’t there at the moment, pulled a brochure out and wrote the name, Eddie, and a phone number on it, and handed it to her. The part that upsets me the most is the lack of apology and professionalism. My order was $ 35 and I tipped them $ 7, a full 20%, and not once were there words, «I’m sorry», ever uttered. I will not be going back to Roadrunner ever again. I’m here so infrequently, that I will not waste my money or limited time in that establishment. As for my family that lives in Las Cruces, I highly doubt they will even be going back to get their«15 free wings».

Love this place! Great deals, the crust is nice and fluffy the spices are great. I just wish that there were a few more pineapples on a ham & pineapple other than that fantastic. Dear lord I love this place.

I recently found out that the owner uses his EBT card to purchase flour and other ingredients. I wouldn’t post something like this unless I knew for sure it was true. I’m obviously less than thrilled. Will not ever eat there again.

Ordered the cheese pizza and cheesy bread. I usually order from Domino’s or little Ceasars. But this pizza was great and my family loved the cheesy bread. The people working are super friendly and gave us parm. Cheese and paper plates with our order

Best pizza and prices! Friendly and good service! Could be cleaner but maybe it just lacks that female charm ;)

I used to really like their pizza until it made me sick. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and in fifteen minutes after eating it everyone who ate it was puking out both end. I ended up in urgent care the next morning extremely dehydrated. I think he chicken had gone bad. I wouldn’t risk eating here again.

On our way through town we ended up odd the beaten path by accident and I just picked this place out of frustration of driving around town. The staff was very friendly. I walked in with my two girls, 7month old and 2.5 yr old. I was politely led back to the bathroom which is in the very far back, probably not for public but they let me use it which was awesome. For 12 bux we got 4 slices 6 wings and a salad. Awesome. And the pizza was pretty damn good and I’m pretty sure it was made fresh. All in all it was a great quick little pizza joint!

Great service and food. If you have never had the Gunslinger Dog you owe it to yourself to try it. Look at the Gunslinger pizza and put all of those toppings on a hotdog. Run this through the pizza oven and you have one of the best hotdogs you will ever eat. Their pizzas are excellent. We had the Cowboy pizza this time. Excellent choice.

After a long day we were looking for a good pizza. Roadrunner did not disappoint, although I am partial to thin NY style pizza. The Cowboy pizza was delicious, the sauce was par for the course with the pepperoni, canadian bacon, and sausage. Took it to a park and enjoyed the heck out of it. The price told me everything, if I’m up in Cruces I know where to go.

Great Food, and a good music selection too! Roadrunner is a unique, and local pizza shop ran by graduated and current NMSU students. It’s always good to support local. They have delivery and carry out specials daily and they also have slice combos which is awesome for someone on the go that loves pizza. Another cool thing is that they make their sauce and dough in house, so your pizza is spun out when you order it. Lastly, it’s definitely cheaper than dominoes and Pizza Hut, not sure about the other pizza places.

I decided to try this pizza place before finals. I ordered the two slices and 5 wing combo for $ 6. The pizza was mediocre at best. It tasted like a bake at home type pizza. The wings were small compared to the pictures hanging up in the restaurant. I guess the price reflects the quality. It was good but I wouldn’t get the burnt to a crisp wings again. And it doesn’t help when you hear the guys in the back kitchen exclaim«oops» then«ten second rule» after you ordered your wings. Not too bad, but not great.

Lacks everything! Prepared on the cheap with less of everything. No reason for this business to exist!

Stopped in la cruces overnight and ordered from roadrunner. The pizza was fairly priced and the delivery was really fast, the employees were very friendly and nice, but the best part was the pizza… best I’ve had in a long time! You can’t go wrong with this place.

Our family enjoyed a XL pizza this evening. After my son and his family’s flight home to Charlotte, NC was canceled this morning, they returned here to spend an afternoon of watching football, etc. Before they left for their rescheduled flight home this evening, we decided to order a pizza to be delivered. After some research for a pizza place that delivered, we decided to give Roadrunner a try. We were not disappointed. The time given for delivery was very accurate and the delivery person was very friendly. The pizza was hot, fresh, and exactly what we ordered. We will definitely keep them in mind when ready for another pizza delivery.

After a long day of doing housework my husband and I were looking for a pizza place that delivered. Since we are new to LC we were looking for new places to try that aren’t the large chains you can find in any city. We ran across Roadrunner Pizza and their pizzas looked pretty good and they were cheap so we figured we would give them a try. I found it odd, but enjoyed their prices are for one topping, unlimited toppings, or for specialty pizzas. This being said, we decided to go with the unlimited and load the pizza up with veggies. They have a decent selection of toppings, including more veggies than other places– eggplants and spinach are not often on other menus. Once we got the pizza it looked great and had a pretty thick crust just how we like it. The pizza itself was mostly good. My only complaint is that the middle of the pizza needed to be thicker to stand up to all the ingredients that were on top so it was a little difficult to eat. I did really like that they seem to put a bit of garlic salt on the crust of the pizza to make it even tastier. The veggies weren’t over cooked at all and it was nice that some even still had a bit of a crunch to them. Next time I really want to try their Pesto Harvest Pizza . Also, the service was great. We called and put in the order and I guess our house is out of their normal service range, but because they were slow, they delivered it to us anyway. Can’t beat good customer service. So cheap, pretty good pizza, great service, and locally owned. I will definitely go back.
