Best barbacoa in town. Also, try the fresh and tender carnitas on the weekend! Tortillería and Carnecería just opened recently– try their fresh corn tortillas made daily.

Great place for deals on fresh produce in the East Mesa area. We left with 3 bags full of produce for only $ 8.00. Quality produce & small selection of Mexican grocery items in a well-​organized, clean storefront. They are a distributor of Felix Mexican Bakery goods and AJ’s tortillas. They will be accepting EBT soon.
They have another location in town but this is a great option for those of us all the way on the east side. For a limited time, they’ll be roasting Sandia green chiles on Saturdays & Sundays… mmmmm, my favorite!
