Famous Tate Appliance & Bedding Center

About a month ago my nearly 60 year old wall oven died. I was forced to find a modern replacement. As anyone who has shopped for a wall oven will tell you, «They ain’t cheap!» So, I checked online and with Home Depot, Lowe’s and Sears. However, I have never walked into a Famous Tate to see what they had.
This is a new location for them and is in the same building that once housed APSCO Appliance on the north side of East Bay not too far west from US19. I was pleasantly greeted. I told the salesperson what I wanted and how much it was at the other retailers I had investigated. They met the lowest price! Sold!
They recommended a local firm (Pinellas Installations) to install the oven and that would be a separate transaction. My cabinets needed a slight adjustment for the new oven and I was charged $ 150 which I thought was fair. Many of the retailers didn’t offer a carpenter at all or the charges were exorbitant.
It took about a month to get the oven (special order) and it was installed today! (see pic) I couldn’t be more pleased. You should definitely check out Famous Tate.
