New China

Good quality neighborhood Chinese. Delivery works well. Grubhub ordering did not seem to work, I just call on the phone.

I grew up in Larchmont and am back in town visiting friends and family. It’s been a long day and I stopped to pickup some Chinese food. BAD mistake stopping here.
According to my iPhone it’s 38 degrees out with a wind chill in the 20’s. They tell me I can not wait for my food in their empty store. I had to walk around outside, in the cold for 15 minutes while they cooked. I went back in after 18 minutes and my food was still not ready. I should have left and gone straight to Hunan Larchmont. Mistake number two: I waited for this bland, sad food.
While I am in town I will let everyone know that the employees are rude and the food is TERRIBLE.
I’d give this place zero stars but Unilocal will not let me, that’s the only reason they got one star

New China is the best local spot for tasty, non-​greasy Chinese food.
The staff is courteous, friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and fresh. Whether you pick – up or need delivery, they are fast and efficient. I am glad to have found New China, since there was nothing comparable around.
With their excellent attention to detail, incredible food and efficient service, we will always order our Chinese food from here. We also tell our friends and neighbors about this awesome food.

Gets the job done for solid Chinese food. General Tsos is great here and cooked properly (not soggy). The boneless ribs are also a knockout. Some of the other dishes I’ve had are a miss, but if you stick to the good stuff it’s top-​quality.

I order a pickup and it was fast which is a thumbs up… i am very picky with my rice and i have to say this was very good… ribs were acceptable but very delicious… I will be ordering here in the future whenever i am craving rice in general
