Good Cuban food and good prices. Authentic Cubans serving Cuban food. Cuban pastries and sandwiches tasted fresh.

Service is very slow but the food is great! I always get my food«to go» and the ladies at the take out window chit chat and take their time while customers wait but the food is worth the wait. The quesadillas are awesome and the chicken tacos are very good!

Very friendly folks, good cuban food. If you are after ambiance, probably not the best choice but again the food and café is very good. I’d return. Tried their Tuesday special, picadillo which was excellent. If I went back, I’d get the Mahi Mahi for $ 9.99.

Friendly service, but do takeout because the food took a long time. We just ordered their different variations of a Cuban sandwich and we waited at least 35 minutes.

Love this place! I would eat here every day if the police weren’t sitting out front like they own the place! Everybody I talk to drives by and doesn’t stop because they police barracade the front.

We had a great lunch: hospitable staff, good food, nice ambiance and good prices. We had one of the best avocado salads ever. The Cuban coffee was so good that I went back the next morning for more.

I live Cuban food and this place did not disappoint. We tried a bunch of different things — guava pastry, Cuban coffee, beef empanadas, maduros, papas rellanos and a ham and pork sandwich. Everything was delicious. We didn’t sit down this time, we ordered at the pick up window with the very nice and helpful girls.

Authentic Cuban definitely. Food is very good, sometimes a language barrier. It definitely makes you feel like your in Cuba with open dining rooms and ceiling fans. It’s comfortable when cool out or an overcast, but the summers could be brutal.

I came to this spot because someone recommended the tostones relleno but this place is horrible ! I ordered the churrasco steak and tostones and when I tried the steak it was bad! It smelled bad and tasted spoiled! The waitress sucked! Whack service! I will never come here again! I should’ve gotten my meal free but all they did was not charge me for the meat. NEVERAGAIN. All I can say is YUCK!

This place used to be great. Obviously new owners. Very average now. Steak was overdone and lacked flavor. Shrimp were not true garlic shrimp. Much better options available.

Good food and large portions. Black beans and rice is on point and the Cuban espresso is delicious. Glad I found this place.

Service can be slow, but food and coffee is well worth it. The goat was particularly good

Should have looked at Unilocal before stopping in but didnt. Asked the hostess behind the counter how big the empanadas were because I wasnt sure if I should order one or two at $ 4 each. She motions that theyre about yay big– like five inches max. So I figure I’ll need two. WRONGO! The things were like eight inches long and pretty wide and filled. I could have paid for one and it would have been enough. Suckered. I didnt like the shrimp anyway– little tiny uncleaned shrimp in some red sauce– the shrimp tasted more fishy than I like. My husband had some tiny plain piece of mahi with white rice, beans and plantains. The food is not good, the service not great and they add on a service charge… waitress wasnt even friendly or warm and if you look at all the pics on Unilocal the presentation is amateurish to downright gross. Wouldnt return.

The food is awlays yummy… I love the surrounding, an awesome old south florida feel… Keep in mind they are located 100 ft from the train tracks.

Nice little place to stop for a cheap and cheerful snack. I had a Cuban sandwich which had pork and ham with mustard on fresh home made bread, which was delicious. The sandwich was very hot — be careful not to burn your mouth! Service was both quick and friendly. I’d definitely go back when in the area.

I used to eat here all the time for authentic Cuban food and it used to be awesome. They must have a new cook because the food was not as fresh and tasty as it used to be :(

I really wanted to like my food but it just wasn’t good. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and the shrimp ceviche. The sandwich wasn’t that good, the shrimp tasted fishy and old. My friends ordered the Cuban coffee and said it was watered down. They couldn’t even finish it. To top of off, the service sucked.
