The best breakfast. The french toast is awesome. The wait staff is fun, hilarious, and do a great job. Watching the interaction between Tara and«Grandma» is some great morning entertainment. As far as value. It’s great too. Plate full of french toast and side of bacon(cooked perfectly) and a couple of eggs and drink. Less than $ 10. Their breads are homemade. And no matter how busy they are, food comes out quick. They’re only open til 1pm on Sundays. But if you walk in at 1pm they’ll still serve you, and it’s still good food. Ok, Tara might get a lil grumpy. But that’s Tara. If you’re looking for a good family ran diner with great food. This is the place to go in Lansing.

A solid old style café-diner. Service was very friendly. Breakfast all day was done fine. Not exceptional, but clean, friendly and reasonably priced. It’s all your basic American bacon and eggs type food.

I’ve been to Mijo’s several times now for breakfast. It’s always busy, friendly, clean, and provides great food and service. I would highly recommend it for a great place to meet friends and enjoy a meal together. Fact is, I’m doing that this morning.

I stopped at Mijo’s for breakfast on a Saturday based on a recommendation from a friend. When I heard the name Mijo’s, I was excited for some huevos rancheros or other Mexicano breakfast fare. I was surprised to see the standard all-American items on the menu. There is limited decoration, but it is large and open and clean. I ordered a standard bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast breakfast. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The staff was friendly and I even caught the waitress singing and dancing a bit. Bonus point for entertainment. It’s a good spot if you work nights near the airport or for a great weekend breakfast. They also serve lunch and dinner.
