One of my favorite places! The subs are delicious, the staff is always friendly, and the food is so fresh!

Subs are subs are subs — stuff piled onto boring bread, slathered with nondescript yellow & white stuff. That’s what my view of subs was before I had a Jersey Giant. O. M. G. What an incredible sub sandwich these things are! Bread that’s fresh & tasty, a wonderful variety of meats & cheeses, a great selection of condiments to meet anyone’s tastes make these the hands down the best sub’s I’ve ever tasted! Oh, did I mention they are truly giant as well? The only thing I can say bad about Jersey Giant is they aren’t in Denver, so I have to travel to MI for my fixes.

Okay, being from the east coast, more specifically the Philadelphia-South Jersey area I can honestly say the these«Jersey Giant Submarines» are nothing like a traditional«Hoagie»… However, their still pretty good overall! What makes the hoagie is the roll; it’s a shame they didn’t bring in the Amoroso rolls used in the Philadelphia area, because if they did, this place would be packed all the time and their sandwich would be the best in Michigan! That said, for what they serve, it totally blows away any other chain sandwich shop such as a Subway. They freshly slice the meat for each sandwich, and you actually get a good amount of meat; not like those cheap bastards at Subway. They toppings are well balanced and the veggies have a fresh, crisp flavor/texture. Overall, these guys make a good sandwich; however, they still should get the Amoroso rolls…

I stopped in here because of my fondness for Jersey Mike’s Submarines, which I’ve been too several times before. Basically the same thing, but, in my opinion, not quite as good. I went with the Jersey Giant(Ham, Capicola, Salami, Cheese), which was solid. I still love the novelty of the freshly sliced meat and cheese right in front of you, makes it taste better if you ask me. The toppings were also good, fresh veggies and a great dressing. My one complaint, which is the one ingredient that can make a sandwich truly great, is the bread. The bread just isn’t that good. It tastes like a store-bought sub bun. A truly amazing deli sandwich should have amazing bread – crusty and crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. This bread is not that, not even close. Jersey Giant Subs hits on almost every cylinder, if only they could just upgrade the bread!!! PS If you are looking for a good value, this is the place to go. The subs are absolutely GIANT(hence the name) and you’ll get out of there with a drink for under $ 10.

I love Jersey Giant subs! Every time I come back to MI I have to get a turkey and cheese on wheat and they didn’t disappoint. The only thing I would ask is for them to offer avocado but I know that probably will never happen in MI! :) Keep up the good work!

When I discovered this place right across the street from where I work I knew I was in trouble. The delicious bread, fresh sliced lunch meat, oil and vinegar… my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Jersey Giant subs are hard to beat. Their topping are simply but quality and they are just frickin’ huge! This is going to be a regular lunch stop for me!

1st time we went to this Jersey Giant location, they didn’t have bread(around 7 pm) EPICFAIL! This time, we ordered & had a freshly prepared sub, but our cashier was a bit rude when we asked for the receipt(hello — you get a free sub after you present 10 receipts — I WANTTHEFREESUB). However, the Jersey Devil today was great; obviously large enough to feed 2 — we enjoyed this meat lover sub, since I think it has every single cold cut in the place slapped inside the delicious, soft, loaf! We’ll definitely go back since we just got the 10th receipt — YAHOO
