Food was decent, service was poor. No one greeted us when we walked in and we were definitely noticed by some servers sitting rolling silverware. We finally asked if we seat ourselves or have to be seated. Restaurant was not busy, but there were other patrons there and we still had to wait forever for a server to come to our table to take a drink order. They gave us menus after they came back with the drinks. Our server definitely seemed pleasant, the overall experience just took forever to simply eat and leave.

Was in Lansing on business and staying at the Quality Inn right next door. Needed some food and it was past 10:00pm and I didn’t want to eat fast food. I headed in and found a nice sized restaurant and small bar(about 8 seats I think). This place is part of the bowling alley and the signage isn’t great for the bar and grill. The bartender was great — up beat, checked on me enough, called me by name(after she asked for my name for my order) and recommended a good IPA. On top of that she asked me if I was staying at the hotel and when I said yes(is it that obvious? Apparently) she offered me a discount — got to love service like that. The burger I got was good, not great. Good meat, ok roll, ice burg lettuce and a tomato that I didn’t think was worth eating. The fries were under cooked but I didn’t need them because I ordered onion rings. These o rings are worth it — fresh, hot and not from a freezer bag. I got to eat real food, served quickly and listen to the bartender talk about her kids in such a nice way. Made me full and happy. And all of that for under 15 bucks. Not too bad. If I lived here I could see bringing my family here for bowling and eats.
