Décor is a bit lacking. Needs an update. I’d suggest Normandy farms over Marjeane’s.

We considered Marjeane as a potential wedding reception venue and Brian gave us the tour. I liked both ballrooms (garden room and a very large ballroom) and the fact that the packages included a few things (cake, dj, food, drinks, etc.), but there were hidden fees as well in the fine print. Brian made fun of me for taking a lot of notes and asking a lot of questions. My fiancé and I didn’t feel welcomed or like we were being heard. Brian rushed us through our little meeting and wasn’t friendly at all. Prices were in our budget, but we had to pass based on dealing with him. Plus, the street that it’s located on and parking lot aren’t very appealing. Wouldn’t be enough parking spots for a larger wedding.

I went here last year for the annual dinner of our hiking club. It is located in Lansdale just past the train tracks and before the Vidalia grocery on Broad Street. Just driving into the entrance was a nightmare. You cannot maneuver around the cars and need to drive back into the street entrance before this place. Then, you wind yourself around the back if the parking lot is filled. That’s the major issue here which is lack of parking spaces.
Next, you walk inside and find a rather large banquet hall ahead. This is pretty impressive. I came a little late and was disappointed that the servers were running out of food. Plus, the chicken and roast beef were dry and not juicy. The dessert was a chocolate mousse which I tasted a small teaspoon and was not impressed. Overall, this place needs to improve its service and food. We paid $ 30 each for the dinner which was break-​even according our event organizer when this was planned in our executive committee meeting. I would have expected a little bit better but this was fairly close to the Williamson Restaurant. No big surprise when you get a banquet hall instead of a country club. The quality is not there when the main purpose to have large meeting rooms, etc. for large group events.

They’ve cleaned this place up in the last 10 years

We had our wedding here on Saturday night. Their top of the line package was still affordable, and included the cake, invitations, top shelf bar, and DJ. Having them take care of almost everything gave me a night that I can really remember HAVING FUN at, in a BEAUTIFUL room, run by very attentive staff. Our maitre d’ was fantastic and every waiter and staff member that we encountered did everything possible to spoil us and our wedding party, and to take great care of our guests. Brian and Jean, the owners, are perfect to work with every step of the way, from the initial consultation, through all of the meetings, on every last minute phone call, and throughout the night.
We used the Garden room, but the larger Ballroom is equally beautiful.
