Worth the price for the service. I bought a dishwasher from them after the big box store installed mine incorrectly because it was difficult to fit in the space and required work the installers weren’t «allowed to do». I bought my refrigerator 3 years ago from Kieffer’s. It broke down and was no longer under warranty. I called 2 appliance repair services and no one would fix it because it would take 2 people to move it out and past my island to allow access to front and back. Too bad for me! I called Kieffer’s to see if they would help me out. They immediately set up one of their installers to come out, move the fridge and then COMEBACK on another day, after it was fixed– NOCHARGE! Their customer service saved the day for me. I buy all my appliances from Keiffer’s. While not the cheapest, they have a great selection and will make sure you are happy with your appliance and service.

I have to agree with Laura. I think the sales team at the store was ok to deal with, but it was the installation which I had huge issues with. We purchased 4 Wolf brand appliances about 1.5 years ago from Kieffer’s. cooktop, oven, microwave, and a stovetop hood. I think I spent about 6000 – 7000 dollars for these. They did deliver these items without any issues but when the only installer that Kieffer’s use came and that’s when all the problems started to occur. He installed cooktop and he tells me that the granite was cut too big and the cooktop moved around, so he stuck about 10 shims between the cooktop and granite counter. After a few days, it started to move around and cracked the granite countertop. So the granite guys come out and they couldn’t believe that the installer used shims to secure the cooktop. So these guys actually took all the wood shims out and tightened the screws of the cooktop and never had any issues after that. Granite guys fixed the granite top and told us it was too many shims which caused the granite counter to crack. Then the cooktop hood was installed wrong and looked crooked on the top where the aluminum meets the ceiling. So my handyman unscrewed the hood and fixed the hood. The worst part of it all was that he gave the kitchen cabinet guy the wrong dimensions for the cabinets where the oven and microwave go in, so we had to reorder the cabinets and pay extra to my kitchen guy to redo the entire part of the kitchen. Of course we had to pay for the cabinets for new parts. The oven hole was too small do he was able to cut the cabinet and put it in but he made complete mess when he was cutting the hole and saw him putting the oven in without cleaning the inside the cabinet. I made him vacuum all the wood powders before he put the oven in. Then the microwave door looked weird because it wasn’t centered right when he installed it. I asked him to do it again but he said that was the best he could do even though he agreed with me that it looked weird. So my good handy man fixed it and centered it and looks good now. Good sales team decent price but terrible installer who had absolutely no idea on what he was doing. Crazy thing was that he is the only installer and has been there for years. Watching him install these pieces were terrible because he kept on saying I never saw this piece before. I can’t seemed to find right pieces. I think this I’d a wrong motor for the hood, but later he found that it was the right motor. I could just go on and on.

I had to update my review after receiving a call from Charlie at kieffers Friday afternoon. Charlie informed me that they would be replacing the entire washing machine with a brand new one. He asked me what time and day I would like it delivered and installed. I told him tues evening and he said that was fine. He apologized and said he would cancel the upcoming appointment I had with the service company that was supposed to replace the damaged lid. He said he was sorry for all the inconvenience I’ve endured and that he hopes this will make up for it all. I thanked him for finally making things right. I am happy that they have made it right in the end. I do wish it didn’t have to get to this point in the first place. All in all it worked out in the end.

I purchased a new gas oven/range from Keifers a week before Thanksgiving. Not a cheap unit by any imagination. It was damaged during shipping or storage. The top needed to be replaced. I notified the salesman and he said he would take care of it Numerous phone conversations with the sub-contractor that handles warranty claims and the salesman later and all I have is promises and no action. It is now almost the New Year. I only saved $ 50. over Home Depot for the delivery cost because I work near the showroom. I guess I will have to go to the showroom and talk to the owner and see what type of response I get. Never again.

I’ve been in the area for 21 years and have purchased a total of seven major appliances from Kieffer’s — if you count two air conditioners as major. Prices have always been highly competitive with the big box stores and customer service excellent. They’ll also cut great deals on lightly scratched or dented items they want to move out. My only frustration was having a dishwasher installed(2009) when the installer forgot to hook up the water(!) but a call the next day had the problem remedied shortly.

Badass stoves in this store. If I had some serious cash to spend not only would I have these people revamp my kitchen, but professional chefs would be jealous of my setup. I was here with my parents, they were looking for a special oven or something. I was getting great service even dressed like a bum. I had a t-shirt with sneaks on and I was wandering around the store like a kid touching everything shiny while mom talked to the salesman. I was approached twice and everyone was super friendly and even answered my silly questions. I highly suggest this showroom if you’re looking to make your kitchen better.

We purchase $ 10,000 in appliance for our new kitchen which was under construction and asked them to order the appliances, to be sure we got what we wanted and told them we would pay in full. Nannette, our salesperson, told us there was no need to leave a deposit, but they would hold the appliances. Both my husband and I remember this conversation, as does the kitchen designer, who was with us that day. Needless to say when I called to say we would be ready in a week, I was told, not only would it at least 4 to 6 weeks for delivery, but the refrigerator and dishwasher that matched my stove were discontinued, and I would have to take different models. They had never ordered my appliance, or perhaps they sold them to someone else. This was to be our dream kitchen. We are retired and this was the last time we would be redecorating, so we were very disappointed. Still we had no other choice, if we wanted the beautiful Aga stove. When the dishwasher and refrigerator came in they were both dented. John Kieffer and Nanette were not the least bit apologetic. They ordered replacement panels, which arrived 5 weeks later, never contacting me, accept to leave a terse message on my answering machine, to say an independent company would install them. All the replacement panels were WRONG. The dishwasher front was for another style dishwasher and the refrigerator front was a flat finish door, while the rest of my doors are shiny. I called Kieffer’s and left a message for John Kieffer. He has not had the courtesy to respond thus far. THEIRCUSTOMERSERVICEISHORRENDOUS. Once they make the sale they are finished with you. PLEASEFINDANOTHERAPPLIANCESTORE. THISSTOREISNOT A GOODCHOICE.

I have purchased 2 high end appliances from Kieffers this year and had a terrible experience. The first was a Bosch dryer that was on sale for $ 1000.00. It only works on the Extra Dry Cycle, the Kieffer’s installer never hooked up the special steam cycle that was the selling feature for this model. The second is a Blue Star cooktop priced at $ 2,500.00. It took 3 missed appointments for the Kieffer’s installer to finally make it out and put in my cooktop. Now, 4 weeks later there is a gas leak and I can’t get a straight answer about who is coming to repair this. Mr. Kieffer himself is handling my inquiry. He came out last week and suggested I turn off the gas. Today he told me that Blue Star was at my house yesterday and fixed the problem. Strange thing is when I spoke with them yesterday they told me the service person would be out today… I waited home all day and no one showed up. The customer service and reliability of this company are horrendous.
