Very disappointing experience today. Home Depot recommended that I stop by Ferguson’s for Kohler supplies that Home Depot did not carry in-store and highly recommended Ferguson’s. Walking in I was very impressed with the show room and the supply center. I was not able to find the supplies, and since the store was practically empty, I decided to ask the clerk(behind the register) if I would be able to get help. He gave me a weird look and rudely said«well, no, I am busy, you can ask the showroom if they can get someone for me.» Basically, he was talking to his friend who was sitting down in front of him while they chatted. OK… hmmm…not a good sign. I decided to leave the supply center and enter the showroom. The receptionist was very nice, and my mom and I walked in to take a look at a couple of Kohler toilets we wanted to buy for our upstairs bathrooms. Nobody approached us to help us. At this time we decided to go back to the supply room to see if we could find what we needed. I was right next to the rude guy and he never even asked us if we ever got any assistance or if we needed help. My mom and I decided to leave without looking further. Since the receptionist was so nice, I decided to tell her about my experience and told her that the supply center guy was not very helpful, and in fact he was kinda rude… could it because we were two Asian females??? She told me that they were short staffed that week and apologized on his behalf. She said she would get someone from upstairs to help us if needed… I told her ‘no’ that we were about to leave. She told me the rude guy’s name is RICK and that the regular staff was out today. Never going back to this place again… How unfortunate RICK doesn’t understand the value of excellent customer service. His name is RICK and worked there on Thursday, 3÷19÷15 at 3pm.
