Tres Gringos Tamales

Once upon a time I was so happy to have some pretty good, fresh Mexican food from these folks, but since they moved into the Bayview Cash store, things seem to have gone awry.
Last time I got carnitas tacos, which were pretty bad, as they tasted like fish and they didn’t bother to warm up the tortillas. I figured it might just be a startup issue, so I waited and bravely tried again. This time I got beef tacos, which were confirmed to be skirt steak. Sounds good, but they were RAW!!! and incredibly chewy. They still seem to have something against heating up their tortillas — even if they are hand made. The shredded cabbage topping, however, was very good, else I’d give them one star.
I am a bit scared to try any meet tacos from here again. But if they would start warming up those tortillas like a real taqueria I might at least try something vegetarian.
