Had been meaning to try this place since it opened and finally made it. Pizza Margherita was excellent, with a wonderfully chewy, crunchy crust. Pleasant vibes and prompt, friendly service.

Good pizza, decent price. Side items are spendy. Limited beverage selection. Went in on Tuesday at 5pm and they were«Sold Out» so we went back on Wednesday. Order at the counter, no servers. Best pizza I have had on the south end by far!

Pretty good pizza. I got the garlic chicken and, even though I love garlic, I thought it had just a little too much. The service was pretty good too. Nothing to complain about. I might come back and try a different pizza at some point.

Very well done pizza. Simple tastes done fresh on a great dough. I wish they had a larger menu so they could really show case some more ingredients and show off the wood fire oven in the corner. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a pie. Also I feel like all pizza restaurants need dual reviews. Day of and day after while cold from the box. We all know vitamin p is great hot but sometimes even better cold. The pizza flavor holds up great with a little toughness developing in the crust next day. Makes for a nice chewy snack.

Smokey flavored wood fired crust makes for pizza. Who doesn’t like bacon and ranch pizza?! Or maybe you want buffalo chicken. Not a big fan of specialty pizza? That’s ok they have all your favorites too. This is a great family friendly /family owned pizza shop.

They didn’t update their phone tape, so when we went there on Mothers Day we found it closed. Bad customer service.

Amazing pizza. Had 3 for a party & they were great! Hawaiian, cheese, & pepperoni. The pep will always be my favorite. The restaurant itself is nice & appears clean, however I only went in to pick up the pizzas & did not dine-in. I’m not on Whidbey often, but this will be my go-to pizza place :)

Not a review on the pizza, as far as I know the pizza is great, but I was really looking forward to a great pizza, they are advertised as closing at 7pm on a Sunday. I show up to order a pizza at 6pm. The open sign Is still on, but all the chairs are stacked and the doors locked. Maybe you should advertise that you close the doors whenever is convenient and not 7pm. I hope to come here again, and hopefully the doors will be open.

Although I strongly recommend the restaurant Ciao for pizza, which is located north of Joe’s in Coupeville, this is the second best pizza on Whidbey. Coincidently, they both have wood fired ovens! I had the three cheese and it was great. They offer a 12 inch and an 8, but one person can handle the 12 just fine. They have fountain soda with free refills and you can sit at a high bar type table and watch the pizza get done up in the oven. This place does it right, it may not be as close to the Italian taste had at Ciao, but they are getting it done in south Whidbey and stand up to any pizza I have had in the USA.

I have to admit that when I saw the reviews that said«Best Pizza Ever» I was skeptical. After having a sausage pizza that was near perfect in almost every way we will certainly have Joes at the top of our pizza lust. The house salads were fresh and a great size the beer was cold and the triple berry tart ala-mode was a great way to finish off a great pizza. As Arnold said«I’ll be back»! Jim

BESTPIZZA I’ve ever had. How do I break down the best pizza ever? Let’s start with the moment I walked in the door … the smell of a wood fired oven is subtle yet clear — you know this is going to be GOOOOD! Menu is simple but seemed to have all the awesome combination of toppings. They have 2 sizes, 8″(personal size) and a 12″ for the hungry person or to share. I asked them to make me something off the menu. I wanted the chicken ranch pizza but asked for BBQ sauce as the base. Fantastic! They have since placed it on the menu and I’ll gladly take credit for it! My dad has ordered their sandwiches a number of times and they are fresh and delicious! While I read there have been some who are complaining about slow or bad service — that was NOT my experience. Although to be fair to those who waited a long time — I’ve only gone during mid-day … not evening. This is the ONLY pizza I’ll eat on the Island — and long for wood fired pizza now!

Totally casual atmosphere with outstanding pizza! As a local, my family now agrees– Joe’s is the best pizza on Whidbey!

A cute and cozy establishment centered around an open kitchen and a wood-fired pizza oven. The ingredients are fresh and crust thin; just how I love it! Pitchers of beer for less than $ 16 and carafes of wine for less than $ 13. We’ve always chosen to take out, but dine-in could be dangerous. Recommend Hawaiian.

Most horrible service I have ever had. I waited & watched as numerous phone orders came in AFTER I had ordered & all those pizzas were made & ready for pick up while I was still waiting a half an hour later for my pizza. I complained & the guy who was running the oven turned & threw his hands up & said«we’ve had a lot of phone orders come in tonight.» He basically admitted they put all the phone orders in front of mine! He was a complete jerk & I won’t be going back. Watched other customers get frustrated while they waited for their pizzas after me. Guess the only way you wont wait is to make a phone order. I’ll make sure to tell all of my friends & family not to spend any $ here.

Best pizza on Whidbey Island! Got the Hawaiian. Very tasty, perfectly cooked, fabulous crust. My son got the three cheese, loved it as well. It’s fun to see them cook the pizza in the wood fire oven. Very fresh. Also, they have Mac and Jack’s on tap!

Great Mom & Pop pizza place! Wood fired pizza was fantastic – Hawaiian was superb(pesto was OK). We got our food to-go, but the atmosphere appeared family friendly. Great addition to south whidbey!

Probably the best pizza on the South end of the Island… which isn’t saying too much since the only competition is Coach’s and Village Pizzeria. I appreciate what they are trying to do here and wood-fired pizza is typically more flavorful and better cooked, but overall it was only mediocre. Also picked a bad night to go. They were apparently slammed and it took 1 ½ hours for two small pizzas. They can’t handle any volume, so make sure they aren’t busy when you place your order… isn’t worth a wait.
