This is probably the most unwelcoming hookah café I’ve ever been to. Not only was the manager Scott rude but was very abrasive and hostile. It was an empty slow Saturday night the day after Christmas that my friend and I went and Scott wouldn’t even let my friend who doesn’t smoke stay for even 20 mins without having to pay a «cover seat charge» since it was taking away a seat from a paying costumer. The owner really needs consider who his employees are because I’ve been to many hookah lounges and this by far was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

When you think about great customer service, don’t think about this place. The«manager» Scott, is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I would’ve never expected such poor service from this establishment. Charging $ 7 for someone who doesn’t even smoke, who is just visiting a friend for a few minutes is despicable. I have been to numerous hookah cafes in the tristate area and have never had such a bad experience. When I asked what I was paying $ 7 for, Scott rudely responded saying it was for a seat. Stating that I was taking someone else’s seat when there were no other people in the hookah café. He then told us to write a bad review on social media if we had a problem… so that’s exactly what I’m doing. Tulip should really consider new management and also getting some business cards since apparently they don’t have any.

Tulip is the best value EVER! $ 10 per person(even if you’re not smoking) enables you to have unlimited mixes and favors for as long as you want. The service was awesome, the hookah tasted fantastic, the music was awesome, and the clientele Tulip attracts rocks as well. If you happen to be hungry, Tulip has delivery menus at their register. You can also bring in your own food and drinks. The only con about this place is that they don’t provide mouth pieces so make sure you don’t mind sharing mouth cooties with your friends.

I’ve been to this location twice now once with a group of people and once just me and my boyfriend and it was pretty decent both times. They have bubbles that you can hookah with and and a bunch of flavors to choose from. There’s music and you can BYOB you just have to be 21 t drink on the premises. The second time I went, me and my boyfriend went pretty late, like around 1 and the place closed at 2 so they let us hookah til it closed and then gave us wrist bands for another location where we only had to pay 5 dollars total between the two of us that closed at 4. The other place was bigger brighter had a pool table, a back room and dancing but it was pretty empty and the music wasn’t that good. Not to mention really messy. But this review is about Tulip and for that I’ll give it four stars.

Tulip was really cool. Haven’t been able to get a spot on a Saturday night for three weeks now, though. Should advertise that reservations are necessary certain nights. Love the vibe and they have an awesome range of flavors. Really getting tired of being turned away every weekend…

I drove 35 minutes to meet up with some friends at tulip who had been smoking. Upon arriving they told me they had been waiting for new coal for the past 45 minutes. After awhile we finally got new coal. Meanwhile the staff was drinking beer and not taking care of the customers. Waste of 12 $

Best hookah place in bucks county. $ 10 to hookah all night where else are you going to get that. I love all the flavors they have here. Fruity pebbles is my favorite. The only bad thing is when I was here some man kept picking the music and he kept picking Linkin Park songs… nothing against Linkin Park but it’s not something I wanna hear for 2 straight hours while drinking wine and smoking hookah

After smoking quality sisha throughout Europe and the Middle East this place is by far the worst I’ve had. Every hit was extremely airy and the sisha tastes like chemicals, after asking to change flavors from their Tigers blood to meditation I could not even tell that the flavors were changed. It was the the worst experience I’ve ever had and was not enjoyable what so ever. The kids here having a good time do not know any better and cannot compare to anything of merit. I’m not surprised as they have inexperienced kids running the café. Enough said…

Very rarely do i give a place 5 stars. Tulip hookah café is pretty awesome and totally deserves all of it! Things you should know : -$ 10 per person– UNLIMITEDHOOKAH! And not just some crap brands, they have al fakheer and starbuzzz(2 of the smoothest ones out there). — Parking right behind the shop(free) — Easy to miss, look out for the ‘langhorne coffeeshop’- tulip is a small door 2 doors down. — BYOB and Bring your own FOOD as well(as they only house a half stocked vending machine in the back that sells drinks and snacks) — Theres a bar right across the street — kitchen open until 1am where u can get some food from. Service: Vanessa(along with a guy in the back setting up hookahs) were both efficient and friendly. She was always on her toes checking up on everything, changing coals and changing the flavors itself when they started dying down. She was always smiling and was a pleasure! We never felt rushed, the music was a good mix of techno, hip hop and rap. My sister and i met a few cool guys and chatted them up the a majority of the night– pretty friendly place. Interior: A lof of Unilocalers made this place seem a lot more classier than it actually was. Yes, they have tried to make it ‘themey’ with the beads and drapes and couches but then they have people sitting on computer chairs without wheels(i don’t get why they have done that with every computer chair). hookah: The flavors were plentiful, and the guy making them did a phenomenal job because i had no complaints with the pull or strength of both our rounds of hookah. For a better experience, ask if they will add ice to your bowl(before they set up ofcourse). Fruit punch(or any fruity drink) in your bowl does wonders as well. For flavors, i recommend you ask for anything with mint! Cons: No food. but i think its okay because it would probably make this place less efficient and more open to criticism. Also, that parking lot had 2 drunk shady older characters that tried to start a conversation with my sister and i. But thats it. What i found awesome is the fact that the front door was left open for the most of the night– it made for a less nauseating experience. Not fancy, but a really ‘chill’ place to goto. Its quality of service, product and price put other places to shame. Must return and highly recommended.

small, crowded, has the tv on and music playing and these disorienting laser lights, which creates a weird atmosphere. seems very clique-y; the server wandered away and let our coals go out; we wanted to stay longer and try other options but we couldnt find her to ask. i’ve never in my life not left a tip at an establishment before, but after sitting there for nearly 40 minutes unable to smoke, my friends i just walked out.

If you don’t have time to make the trip to Istanbul, Damascus, Beirut, Amman, Jerusalem, or any other Middle Eastern city, the next best thing could be a stop at Tulip Hookah Café in Langhorne, Pa. Once inside, you are transported from Bucks County to a much more exotic locale. Have imagination. Will travel. Find a comfortable spot to sit or recline and order a variety of Shisha(Flavored Tobacco) from the servers. They will return with a beautiful glass water pipe(Hookah) and your smoking preferences. Sit, smoke and talk as long as you wish. This is a old custom in that part of the world. Pass the pipe’s mouthpiece tipped hose around, and taste the flavors of Turkey, or many other Arab/Muslim-centric countries. Tulip also offers snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, and live music entertainment several nights a week(check website or call ahead). The $ 10. cover charge gives you license to stay all night. When I resided in that part of the world I would often find a soft carpet and pillows to relax on the floor and watch the hookah’s smoke drift and dance toward the ceiling. Sometimes there was music and song. I would ask for a small cup of the local thick coffee, pour in a ton of sugar, and sip the caffeine alternating with a long draw on the pipe. The visions were astounding. When feeling flush, I asked for flavored brandy to replace the water in the pipe, so I could completely experience the transition from hookah/coffee house to Bedouin’s tent in a secret desert oasis. Visions of Scheherazade, Princess of Persia and storyteller of the 1001 Tales of the Arabian Nights, await…

I was briefly transported to Istanbul, Turkey for 3 hours on a Friday night. I was actually in Langhorne, Pennsylvania! But how cool and awesome is that? For $ 10, you can stay stay as long you want and smoke as much hookah was you want in an authentic Turkey style hookah bar in the middle of a nice suburban town. Our server, Amanda was super friendly and accommodating. We felt very relaxed and had a lot of fun talking, drinking, and smoking flavorful hookahs. I highly recommend the Blue Mist. Here are several reasons again why I recommend Tulip Hookah Café: 1) BYOB– No corkage or ice fee! 2) $ 10 3) Supports independent bands to perform as live music 3) Stay as long as you want 4) Smoke as many flavors on the menu as you want 5) Awesome creative house flavors such as Sex Panther and Purple Haze

This is a great place to relive your youth of hookah smoking and underage drinking. I hear everyone crying about the $ 10 cover but it is UNLIMITED hookah all night. I’m actually really glad not a ton of people know about it, because the place is tiny. It has enough space for maybe a comfortable 20 people or so to fit. It’s not the type of place you take anyone on a first date, this is the type of place where a well established couple goes. Especially since it’s BYOB and you will be sitting in mismatched office chairs surrounded by Turkish cushions. A cheap date spot to sit around to chat, watch some sports, or listen to some music. The service was really friendly, the girl behind the counter was helpful with her recommendations and getting us ice to chill our drinks free of charge. I will def be returning. P. S. it’s cash only.

LOVE this place. Extremely homey. In the back there’s a canopy area, pretty cute. The shisha is interesting, love the house blend. Service is good. Chill atmosphere. There’s also two huge screens to watch tv. Music was good, edm style towards the end of the night. Unlike other places, it calls for a $ 10 cover but unlimited hookah. Would definitely come back here.

Pretty nice place. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is pleasant. I have been to some better places, but considering there is not a huge selection or market in the area for hookah bars – I’ll take it!

Tulip is a small but not tiny space with a decent amount of seating. It shows simple but tasteful decoration with Turkish-looking benches, office chairs stripped of their wheels(a bit of an eyesore but comfortable), and simple tables. A $ 10 cover charge seems expensive but includes unlimited hookah. This can be a good deal, especially if you’re going to be sitting around with a group of friends for a few hours and go through 2 – 3 bowl packs. The service is also impeccable, everyone is helpful and easy to flag down. The tobacco is also of a decent quality, $ 10 is a bit expensive for Al Fakher but pretty reasonable for Starbuzz. The hookahs are Khalil Mamoon(one of the best manufacturers) and are well maintained. Finally, BYOB without a corkage fee is a huge plus for the 21+ crowd. So why not the full five stars? The obligatory $ 10 option is great when you plan on staying for 2+ hours, but if you want a quick smoke it’s expensive. They should offer other pricing options. Furthermore, the music was whack when I visited last time, and my friends constantly complained about this. Finally, I wish Tulip carried some food other than junk food(chips and candy). But besides these, Tulip is a solid place to spend a few hours smoking, especially if you enjoy hookah.

After living in Langhorne for about three years now, I was browsing Unilocal looking for something different to do when I came across Tulip. I was so happy to find a Hookah bar around here, instead of having to drive 30 – 45 minutes to the ones i’ve been going to for a while now. The Tulip Café is cozy and nicely decorated, the overall experience was nice and laid back. We absolutely loved it and plan on going back as often as possible.

Being from the Langhorne Borough myself, I had been saying for years that we needed a hookah bar. When Tulip sprouted out right across the street from the Langhorne Hotel, my dreams came true! What’s better than a BYOB hookah café with a bar/hotel across the way? NOTHING. But, even if you are not 21, Tulip is a great place to relax with friends, smoke some hookah, listen to live music, eat various snacks, and watch sports. The flavor selection is unique and manifold, which keeps customers continuously testing their hookah pallets. The décor is truly authentic,(all of it being from Turkey) yet still manages to look modern enough, not to mention Tulip’s hookahs are gorgeous. And as for the service, they are friendly and attentive, but not in an obnoxious, up-your-ass kind of way. That said, the only thing that I suggest for groups is to arrive before 10pm, because the crowds start accumulating anytime after(especially over weekends). Other than that, I’m more than pleased to rate Tulip a 5-star hookah bar.

Having been to quite a few hookah bars in New York I have to say Tulip borrows its style from the best of them. That being said there is one profound difference — this place is authentically Turkish in every way. When you hear«hookah bar» you half expect someone running a pretend novelty place but Tulip is quite the opposite with décor matching the Turkish tradition of fusing modernism with cultural heritage. The flavor menu is original and interesting and they get quality stuff so the taste is smooth and you don’t get any of the irritation that the lower quality products unfortunately have. The staff is very nice and professional and will make you feel exactly how you should feel in a place like this — among friends, enjoying some great taste and lively conversation. The great music and relaxed atmosphere makes this place a gem that I would never expect to find outside of a cosmopolitan area of a major city. Authentic and fun, it’s everything it should be. Will recommend and will return!
