This place has the best Chinese food in the area but the screaming child in the back is very off putting. They should serve food not run their own day care. For Christ sake it’s valentine’s day obviously no respect to the customers.

A nice quaint Thai /Chinese restaurant located in close to Oxford Valley mall, Plum Tree is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is very intimate with great décor commonly found in Thailand. The food prices are extremely reasonable, the portions are the right size and taste is good as well. Looking forward to returning here more often.

The restaurant is old 90’s Chinese décor but don’t let it fool you the food is good fresh vegetables I only ask a Lil more seasoning but great amount of food for the price some of the items on they’re menu come close to Hong Kong pearl which is a mile down the street and probably the most popular in the area but everthing I ate here had a delicate taste to it the egg roll was moist and crispy and fluffy and fresh not hard or crunchy there is a difference in crispy and crunchy and the rice was prepared graciously and it takes a good hand to make great rice just rice i ordered the shrimp lo mein combo and the egg drop was great the lo. Mein noodle were delicate and tasteful I recommend coming here cause the food is good and atmosphere is a Lil dapper but I came to eat not gaze at the ceiling and walls

This place is a disgrace. I placed an order for delivery and they sent the wrong food. They can’t understand what you’re saying. I must’ve said chicken broccoli 7 times and they sent me shrimp. They charged me $ 12 for 4 chicken wings and rice. The rice had 3 pieces of shrimp in it. The customer service is terrible. The prices are absurd and the food is mediocre. Do not buy from this place, there are tons of other Chinese places locally. On top of giving me the wrong food, they didn’t do anything to fix it. Don’t waste your time or money.

Absolutely best Chinese/Thai in the whole area. I drive 15 minutes just to pick it up and 15 minutes back because all the local places around me are garbage. Not one bad thing to say

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the mall and was graciously met by the waitress that we’ve come to know here. We ordered three dishes and shared the following: Pahd Thai(loaded with shrimp), Chicken with Cashews and Pahd Ruom Mitt(stir fried mixed veggies with tofu). All three were quite good — especially the Pahd Ruom Mitt. The hot and sour soup is good and their service seems to get better the more we go there. As usual, we couldn’t eat it all(large lunch portions) and had to get a couple containers to go. Having been there for both lunch and dinner, we have come to appreciate their Thai food menu and the spicy taste of this food. Lunch is a real bargain considering what you get for portions and we’ve never had to wait for a table yet. The décor is Chinese and their fish tank is well stocked(the fish seem to enjoy watching us almost as much as we do), so young kids will have something to entertain them. We’ll be back for more — we’re hooked!

I ordered food from this place while I was at work. I was really pleased with everything. The dumplings were really good, and the«amazing chicken», with pork fried rice was really really tasty. My only complaint is that I requested that the food be extra spicy, and it was not, and the fillings inside of the egg-roll were mushy like it was cooked twice, or reheated.

After a long, fun day at Sesame Place, we were looking for a great Chinese restaurant for takeout. New Plum Tree Garden’s food tasted terrific. Their Shrimp Pad Thai Noodles was delicious. I wish I can come back to eat here more often but that’ll be very challenging since I live almost 2 hours away lol

Awesome food, great service and super prices! Thanks again! Ordered on grub hub and food arrived promptly piping hot. All food was packaged very carefully and all condiments and plastic ware were there for our enjoyment! Many thanks!

This is a standard American Chinese and Thai place. I’ve tried many of their dishes including spring rolls, crab Rangoon, pahd thai, and eggplant in garlic sauce. Though they have a wide variety of choices, nothing really stands out to me. I’ve only been there for takeout, and they gave us the wrong person’s order once. We didn’t realize until later, and upon calling then, they wanted us to bring the food back. There was no way we had time for that, so we just ate the food. That was the only incident where they were sub par. I’ve had another experience when we ordered about $ 100 at once, and they included a free order of crab Rangoon.

I’m not sure why people are writing bad reviews because every time I have eaten there, my meal has been delicious. The service is a little slow(only reason I docked a star) but they’re always courteous and attentive. The food also comes in really fun formations… I can’t find the picture in my phone, I wish I could to post it! I’ll recommend this place to anyone looking for Chinese or Thai. It’s personally my favorite Chinese place in the area(yes, better than Hong Kong Pearl!).

The service was so so. If seemed like it took forever bit it was worth the wait. Tea was mediocre but my pad Thai was delicious! Son got Lo mein which was also good. General tsos chicken was also good. The people were nice and food was good overall!

I’ve eaten here twice now and both times have been great. Both times have also been for lunch and I’ve been shocked at the amount of food one receives for a few dollars. Around lunch time it is generally fairly quiet/empty, service is quick, food tastes good, and is delivered quickly.

I’ve now experienced take out and dine in here. Indoor décor is Chinese style, with friendly waitstaff. Food is a combination of Thai and Chinese. I can only attest to the great Thai cooking since that’s what I tried! Great shrimp pad thai, meaning nice chewy soft noodles with a slightly sweet flavoring perfect for my taste. The green curry was superb. The chicken was perfectly tender, colorfully presented with peppers and chinese eggplant included, with the standard creamy green curry sauce. Slightly spicy, but perfectly manageable! I’m going back for more next time I’m in the area. If not, I’m asking my friend to pick up some take out to bring over!

Good food, vegetables and shrimp in my entrée was fresh. Not much for Thai food in the area so I am very happy to have found this place. Golden China in Yardley was my go to but I thought the prices and serving sizes for take out were unreasonable.

Honestly, I don’t know if I’d go back, but the experience was all right for what food I wanted at the time of our visit. We walked into an empty restaurant at 8pm on a Sunday night. I was a bit skeptical that the reputation this place had was accurate. The menu is so big that I felt overwhelmed, and didn’t know what to choose. I finally settled on the cucumber salad and the(roughly translated) chicken noodle and spinach dish. There was a picture of it, and i was excited to try it. When the waitress arrived, I didn’t get the dish I ordered. The dish I received smelled of anise and was inedible. We called the waitress over, she brought us a menu and I pointed a picture of the food I ordered. The picture of the dish I wanted and the dish i ordered were different. Why would you put a picture of a dish in a remote place on the menu and not next to the item it belongs with. VERYCONFUSING!!!

My first time back here since joining Unilocal*. New Plum Tree is a Chinese/Thai restaurant in name, but it is fundamentally Chinese American cuisine with a Thai menu thrown in for good measure. Neither are really outstanding, but both are competently prepared for the local palate. I tend toward the Thai side of the street and have tried several dishes from noodle(Pad Thai) through Curries(Like the Green Curry dishes better than the Red). Today I stopped in just after 12, which is early for me, but I was coming back from Philly, and decided to sit down rather than pick something up to eat at my office. I had a veggie plate primarily of Eggplant mixed with Green and Red Pepper, Carrots, Peas, and Basil Leaves. It had a mildly spicy brown sauce that also suggested some Ginger Root in the mélange. It was good, and felt to be a healthier alternative without meat. What can I say? It was Okay. I am not rushing back, but neither will I avoid it. My fortune: «If it seems fates are against you today, they probably are.» Thanks. I already knew that! Learn Chinese:” A moment” = Yi hui er. Yes. Time waits for no one.(Especially, bad fortune cookie makers.)

I like them better than Golden China. They give more(egg roll and soup included in combination dinners). I’ve only ever ordered delivery from them, but their prices put Golden China to shame. I just wish they had sushi.
