This place used to be awesome. The past several times I went there the food was horrible. Ice cold wings, soggy salad, and bad customer service.

Just passing thru town and stopped in for a bite to eat. This place blew me away! Ordered blackened swordfish tacos, at $ 9 I was a bit reserved but they were served sorta fajita style? Nice sized slab with all the fixings along with pickled jalapeños…killer!
The wife had pecan crusted salmon, equally impressed. Service was great, food was served during first beer, all of which was done by bartender who was courteous and prompt from beginning to end
5 stars don’t rarely go out by me but this place is a gem. Sorry no photos, couldn’t stop eating to snap one!!!

I live very close to the Black knight and every so often I say to myself, give it another shot. The staff is rude and the good quality is always mediocre at best. Wish there were more options in Landisville. Hot Z is very good but it really is the only options as I just give the Black Knight any more business.

Enjoyable food and drink! Asked for soup extra hot, that might just be us that we has to send back to get hotter. Cold in the dining room, which was nicely arranged and furnished. Food was very good, just didnt like that soup and salad came out at the same time, then our entrees before we finished those. So just a little better on the timing would be good. We all enjoyed our meals were reasonably priced, even without the Unilocal deal, but especially good with that. Despite some of the things above, I went with 4 stars as I would return for solid, food, pricing and beverages. The deck/​patio looks inviting for the nice weather!

Good value – nice amount of food for the money. For example, a half size Caesar salad (a normal sized plate’s worth) is $ 3.50. The cheesesteak is the closest around here I’ve found to an actual Philly steak – you can get Wiz with it, and the cut of meat is delicious and flavorful (not chewy at all). They have creative dishes, such as the Crab Rangoon Pizza (cream cheese/​crab spread under cheese with sweet Thai chili sauce and fried wonton strips on top). Good selection of craft brews too. Spacious outdoor patio with heaters – looking forward to visiting again throughout the fall.

This restaurant is right up the road from where I live so checking it out was a must. Despite lack of indoor seating, the deck makes a great social area during the summer and fall months (weather permitting). Absolutely delicious food! Reasonably priced entrees and a great $ 30 deal for two that includes an app, two meals, and dessert! Phenomenal crab cakes and always a perfectly cooked steak. My only complaint would be on the service because it seems I can never get a good server here. I still give 5 stars despite that though because the kitchen deserves it for the wonderful food it puts out!

Been to the black knight a number of times and have yet to have a bad experience. The one bartender with the thumbs up tattoo makes the place. Warning that he may steal your chick, but he’ll make a damn good drink while doing so.

Excellent craft beer choice and very friendly staff. Spencer is very helpful selecting differenct beers and knows the background on each –he won’t lead you astray — good guy!
Appetizers are also very good, regardless of which you select –although I am partial to the wings.

The weekend before T-​Day every year you have an opportunity to make a lot of money with the big Hempfield soccer tournament. Would be good to staff for it. Food was okay.

A great place to drink! Fantastic selection of craft beer on draft easily a 5⁄5 for the beer selection. However, the food is horrible, there is just no other way to put it. I have eaten here 4 times and each time has been bad. Rubbery wings, over cooked pastas, undercooked meats… until this improves just come for the beer.

Were to start, lets do botom up. Waiters r sometimes snobby, but @ 50 slinging food Id b too. So the bartender served me n comp. A beer cuz the waitress had silver to wrap. She was really fantastic, quick, kind n checked in on me just enough.
The menu is basic americana, but the special, r just that. Its nice to see specials specials, owner allows his staff to make a inventive n terrific special. I order the beef madalians. Which was cooked perfectly, and accually all the cow iv order has been cooked properly.
Wings r good, sandwiches r just a bit better here then else were.
Beer selection normal, bartenders r great, even the boys are good.
Generaly high quality food in all departments.
