I had the orange chicken and fried rice and I absolutely loved it! It was so good. The orange chicken had an amazing soft crunch to it and the rice was perfect. My new FAVORITE place for sure!

First time stopping by. Place was clean and very comfortable. Have to say the food was pretty good. Had the B3 Vermicelli w/grilled pork and an egg roll. Friends had the steak Phone and the pepper shrimp. Very tasty food, good spice not salty at all. Looks like a mom and pop operation and I like that. Feels like home cooking to me. I would give it 5 stars, but I want to try more items from their menu.

The place looks clean but the wait was too long, I have to wait 15 mins +, the bathroom was very dirty and no soap, the soup was ok if you ask me.

I got hooked on phở when I lived in LA. As you can imagine, you can find quality phở EVERYWHERE out there but not so much out here. That is why I feel very lucky to have found this place. The phở is GREAT here. I have had the filet mignon phở, filet mignon/meatball phở, and the filet mignon/flank steak phở. They were all AWESOME! Start off with the Vietnamese egg rolls as well for an awesome appetizer. The orange chicken is not prepared like your typical orange chicken, as it has more crisp to it, but still so good! I gave it 4 stars though for a few reasons. The lime and mint that they serve with it is not always so fresh. They also have fried rice that is meh and the service is hit or miss. The phở is still awesome! I highly recommend and always go here!

This was my first time here, so I didn’t know what to expect. There were two of us and we shared a «Phở Ga» which was the chicken phở. I felt like it could have been more flavorful, I kept trying to see if I liked any of the sauces on the table, because it seemed bland how it arrived. The chicken was also VERY tough, so much so that my mom refused to eat it. Came in right before dinner time, so we got our food before the evening rush, which was nice, because it got busy while we were eating. May come back, but it isn’t at the top of my choice list.

Come for their famous iced coffee, stay for the delicious food. If you’re tired of the usual Starbucks iced coffee, etc, you gotta try their iced coffee! I had heard that this place had really good iced cofee, which sounded strange for a Vietnamese place, but I figured why not. Man was I pleasantly surprised. It’s probably the best iced coffee I’ve had in a long time. I’ve also tried their phở and their hot and sour soup. Both were delicious, the hot and sour soup was especially tasty. So when you get a chance, come check this place out, show our local businesses some support.

Came in here for lunch the other day, there were at least 10 people seated inside… Lights were off? Saving electricity maybe? Idk… So I come in, no one is at the register to take my order so I stand at the counter and wait. A waitress is rushing around me getting menus but doesn’t not acknowledge me. So I grab a menu and start to look through it, she comes back by me and says excuse me… I’m thinking she’s going to take my order. Nope I was in her way. She grabs some napkins and rushes off. Finally she comes and asks what I would like to order, I decide on the jalapeño(salt and pepper) shrimp. She takes my order and rushes off and hands it to a man sitting in the back. My order took less then ten minutes to prepare and literally maybe 15 minutes from time I came in to time I left. My food was hot and fresh the shrimp are big and tasty. The fried rice was not the best I’ve had but edible. The shrimp however was so good I could look past her lack of customer service and the so so rice. Will be back to try the phở!

Not a bad place, actually it was pretty good! I’m having the noodles with beef and eggrolls and vegetables. It’s very good. I liked that the noodles aren’t overdone nor were they pre made and sat in the cooler– they are freshly made per order as I could tell. The beef in it was okay, but the eggrolls were good– tasty! I’m a vegetable guy and the bowl lacks a little of the greens and it’s crunch. This place is okay, I think I can see my self coming back.

First off, their hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. This soup was nothing like hot and sour soup in the very least. It was more bland than top ramen. Might as well have just served me hot water for how completely flavorless that was. Second, they charged me 3 bucks for shrimp and only put 3 shrimp in. You guys seriously just charged me a dollar a shrimp. TL:DR– they suck. Don’t order the hot and sour soup unless you plan on being disappointed. Update: one of their employees sent me a nasty message just for posting this! How pathetic! Some people just don’t like hearing the truth. Maybe I should call a waaaa-bulance for them.

Absolutely delicious food. Great PHO! The broth they use is so smooth and warm and tastey. Wowza The noodles are plentiful and cooked just right! Go for the phở(FUH) The waitress was mildly pushy. Just a bit. But she wasn’t trying to be and I could tell. She was being nice, just a slight pushy personality. Other than that me and my wife WILL be back. Great phở. Just as good as down below. I mean way down below like garden grove where there’s a phở restaurant every strip mall…

Just had their take out and it was pretty good. I had the large phở with everything and it was delicious. Just wished they gave me more hot sauce and the other sauce. I also had the Vietnamese egg rolls and they were awesome. My kid had the BBQ pork chow mein and he ate it all so that’s a good thing. Will def be back here for my phở cravings!

This is the first PHO joint I have tried in the AV and it was great. Very pleasant staff, large portions, and low prices. I am an amateur in the PHO game so I stick to simple dishes; I ordered rare steak(separate) from the broth and it came out as desired. The steak was plenty, the noodles weren’t overcooked, and the broth was delicious. I will definitely be coming back and trying something a little more adventurous and perhaps raising the star count.

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever found. The phở here is amazing as is most of the other menu items. They do sell some quick Chinese take out meals also, but they are far superior than most of the Chinese restaurants around it. My favorite though is to get the spring rolls with the peanut sauce. Even though it is weird to have peanut sauce at a Vietnamese restaurant be rest assured that it is by far some of the most delicious peanut sauces you will ever try. Don’t knock it until you try it. This is one of my favorite places to go so you know I will be stopping in occasionally to get my phở fix.

I came in on a Sunday, it was slow. I kinda had an impression that it was because of the noodles but that didn’t deter me. The place seems hidden in the shopping center where it looks as if businesses are struggling to survive. But here, maybe a family owned phở restaurant is trying to give another example to the term, «Hole in the wall». A restaurant that’s a hidden gem, like a treasure chest full of Vietnamese culinary riches just waiting to be discovered. Walking in, the place is clean, nice, and the staff is friendly. Maybe because I’m asian too, but I don’t think that’s the case. There’s some variety for the menu items, but not too much that it overwhelms you like some places. I always go for meatball phở, or sometimes I’ll get it with flank. As it came out, it looked great, broth was clean, steaming hot, noodles cooked just perfectly. A good base to start off from. If you’ve never had phở, you have to «Tune» you noodles, kinda like tuning a car. Different flavor preferences, you can have it normal, or sweet, spicy, sweet and spicy. By adding the Sriracha and the hoison sauce along with the fresh ingredients of lime, beansprouts, and basil. You’re «Tuning» the noodles. The phrase«tuning» for phở is trademarked by myself by the way, you heard it here and from me first and it’s what I always tell people when I take them out for their first Phở experience. When your bowl arrives here’s what you want to look out for: Can you smell the aroma of the noodles before they arrive? Is the broth clean? A clean, clear broth is good Is it piping hot? It’s like ordering chili and getting it lukewarm; who wants lukewarm chili? Can you drink the broth and feel that it tastes great without having to add anything to it? I’d say that Phở stop hit everything on the checklist perfectly except for the last one, I honestly felt that they can improve on the broth a bit by bringing out more flavor of the spices. Not too much of the cinnamon, but the star anise, onion and ginger. And maybe a little bit of the meat, but not too much. It’s a good base broth, not the best that I’ve had but almost there. Phở stop, in a town where most people don’t get past their usual burgers, meatloaf, mexican and italian food. You’re doing a great thing by opening up in a place where culture is definitely needed. Where peoples tastebuds need to be introduced to another realm of asian flavors primarily of the south, and what a great place to start it off by with Vietnamese cuisine. Vietnamese cuisine is all about balance: soft and crispy, meat and veggies, salty/sweet/spicy, there’s harmony in the flavors and ingredients. And Vietnamese is more of what the AV needs, so I hope that you continue to thrive on your path to success and I wish you all the luck in the world in becoming the best Phở stop in town. Cam ung. __________________________________________________________________________ Overall verdict: Good noodles, friendly staff, clean and bright environment. Come in and support this local business establishment as I will definitely come back again. 4 stars from a noodle connoisseur, I have to be honest as I do want to give it 5 stars, but give the broth more aroma, more flavor, more soul.

Thanks to Unilocal we found another gem in the AV. We wouldn’t have known it was there without Unilocal.I got a Phở Tai and my husband got Phở 5 or 7 — rare beef and well-done flank. The broth was great, as good as one of our favorite spots in Old Town Pasadena. The noodles were perfectly cooked and a good amount — regular size is more than enough for a hungry adult at dinner. Thai basil and sprouts were not wilted with a nice fresh aroma. For an appetizer we got grilled pork spring rolls. The pork was basically a satay with a nice char, very yummy with crisp fresh vegetables inside. Peanut sauce might be nice with this, but I’m not sure how appropriate that would be for a Vietnamese place! Thanks to the lovely staff. The owner’s wife served us while he cooked in the kitchen, and she was really kind and very attentive(especially during our newborn’s short bursts of fussiness. Hey, parents have to eat too!) This was dinner time on a Saturday, but they’re obviously used to doing a good weekday lunch business. We’ve had some good Chinese food at actual Chinese restaurants in the Lancaster/Palmdale area, so it seems a little odd that some reviewers came here for gringo-style Chinese food when the restaurant is called«Phở Stop», clearly aiming to sell Vietnamese food. Not sure what that’s about, but kind of strange to give low star reviews based on that. My husband and I definitely plan on coming back for more delicious Vietnamese food! Ample parking, easy on/off highway access, tucked into a strip mall, bathroom(unisex) clean and large but not too well stocked when I went in.

Came back again. Waitress was good. New hire possibly The phở was on point. Again. I know it isnt the best phở in the world but we are in the AV not vietnam. So for what it is and where we are at. Limited choices, this place is solid. Price is reasonable. Tried the dumpligns. They were also solid. Good flavor and taste home made which they are.. They lost the steam table chinese food it seems .menu got revamped. Over all a good experience again.
