A V Ink Tattoo and Body Piercing

James managed to squeeze me in super last minute on a Sunday for a set of nipple piercings. I got in, he took me back in about 5 minutes (super quick!). He talked to me throughout and kept me comfortable and breathing. No awkwardness there. Super personable and professional. He made sure I was okay and not feeling faint afterwards. The piercing itself was quick!
The down side is that the room is so small no one can come back for moral support with you, you gotta go alone. My placement is also «off». Now that the swelling has gone down, I can see that the piercing goes more through my areola than my nipple. Still deciding if I want to heal them out or retire them.

I came in today for a nose piercing and am very happy with it! Service was awesome, everybody in the shop was very nice and helpful. The shop was very clean and sterile. I will definitely be coming back here.

I got my daughter’s ears pierced in the mall at 3 months old. She is now four and one ear is way too low. I took her to James and he was great with her. He used a numbing cream. I got a 2^nd piercing in my ears before her and I barely felt it. So different than the guns used at the mall. My daughter went after me. She didn’t even flinch. Very professional and nice. The piercing room was very sterile and clean as well as the shop.

I came in for a last minute piercing and James fit me right in. I was a little apprehensive but was assured that I came to the right place. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave me a great price.

I got three helix piercings done out of state and was referred to AV Ink from JFam Tattoo since they don’t do piercings. I just wanted a professional opinion since my ear was starting to hurt even though I was doing my best to not sleep on them and cleaning them. I can’t remember the guys name who helped me (sorry!) but he seemed genuinely concerned once he saw them! He told me they were done completely wrong with curved barbells and a large keloid was forming on the back of my ear. He took me back and helped me take them out and cleaned me up. It was defiantly not comfortable but he was talkative trying to keep my mind off of the pain. The whole thing took about 10 minutes and by the end of the day my ear was feeling a lot better! If I do ever decide to get another piercing it will be from these guys. They know their stuff and I highly recommend them!

Came here about a month ago to get my nose pierced. Everything went great! The piercer (forgot his name!) was very informative, hygienic, very nice. He was very quick with the needle, and I barely felt a thing. Once it heals up, they can change the piercing for you for free, which is great because I’m afraid to do it myself. I have had no issues with the piercing.

I recently became aware that a daith piercing might help migraines. I know someone who had tattoo work done at AV Ink and I also read the reviews here. I stopped in to ask about the piercing. James knew exactly what I was talking about and said he’d done several for that very reason. He was patient and answered all of my questions. So I decided to do it!
James was up front about the process, explained the after care and made sure I was feeling ok enough to leave the shop! (Got a bit light headed and green, apparently!)
The shop is clean and the process sterile.

This is the best shop I’ve been tattooed at. James did amazing custom work all drawn by hand! He did last minute changes with no complaint. He was more than happy to take my ideas and did amazing. Got my navel piercing here and service was great! The setting was comfortable and piercer was helpful/​clear when it can to the procedure and proper care instructions. I would recommend this place. Love how my piercing came out!

Short version:
First time here for a jewelry change and had no problems. Sterile environment and great customer service! Highly recommend you give them a try.
Long version:
I’ve been wanting to change my cartilage earring since I had it pierced last year (at a different location) but my ear kept on getting infected on and off for months. It finally healed last week and I wanted a new earring. I tried looking online for some but couldn’t find anything that I liked. So I decided to try a piercing parlor. Naturally I turned to google and the first search that came up near my area code is this place. I had no idea what to expect or if they even sold jewelry. I went anyway and was glad I did. The place was extremely clean and the staff was friendly. I told them what I wanted and James showed me the different cartilage earrings they had. Although I wish they had a bigger collection, I did manage to find one that I liked. James also offered to change it for me. He seemed knowledgeable and professional. I was happy with the service overall and would come back again for jewelry change or piercings.

I got my 2^nd & 3^rd tattoos done last night by Wade Titus. He did an amazing job! I’m so happy with the work he does. The whole staff is very professional, clean environment! I love that they use disposable equipment so you know everything is sterile. I won’t ever go anywhere else for work.

I’ve gone to many shops all over Southern California. Usually when your in a shop they have one maybe two artists that are still skilled and the others are just ok. At this shop all of their artists are off the hook. They are all amazingly skilled and so professional. I wont go to anyone else.

This shop is by far one of the best tattoo shops I’ve ever been to. The staff is super friendly and very professional. True artists! My husband and I went in to get custom owl tattoos and James did a beautiful job. His line work is impeccable! It’s been two weeks and I get compliments everywhere I go. I’m definitely returning and would recommend to my closest friends and family.

Hands down, this one of the best shops in Southern California. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The shop is sparkling clean, the staff are super friendly and the artist are amazing. James certainly knows his craft and I would HIGHLY recommend him, especially as an artist that can take a few photos and then completely create an original masterpiece.

I’ve gotten piercings here on two separate occasions.
Both times i’ve been really pleased with the work and the professionalism.
Even just entering the shop, you can see how clean and organized it is.
They have books with the artists’ work by the front desk so you can come in and see their work.
I haven’t gotten any tattoos here, but i probably will when i do it.
I’d recommend it for sure!

Tony is my new piercing artist. I fuhreakin love him. He’s friendly, funny, and very patient; he answered all of my 100 questions, all the while with a smile. He did my latest dermal (to the side of my eye) & my tragus ear piercing; he was very quick and I felt no pain during either. Also, if I do say so myself, they look pretty ahhmazing. My dermal cost $ 60 [which is the standard price for a dermal at almost all the spots] & $ 30 for my tragus.
AV ink is very clean, conveniently located, their artists are professional, friendly, and helpful. I plan to come back in a few weeks and have Tony do my next 3 piercings :] BTW, I live in LA and am driving all the way here to Lancaster, that should give you an indication that this place is hella legit.

Just had my first session with James and he did amazing work. He took so much time drawing out my ideas, even though my small deposit probably barely compensated for his time drawing, and redrawing my art because I changed my mind a couple of times. He was patient and took his time, making sure I was comfortable during the 5 hour session, and putting his heart into my work as though it was his body. In my opinion, his price was way more than reasonable, considering his amount of talent, detail and time. If you’re looking for a tattoo or piercing, you will NOT be disappointed with the guys here. James, Wade, Pops, or Edward; they all have their own unique talent and are all amazing artists. Just come inside and look at their portfolios or the paintings on the walls. Good people, great talent!!!
