The Nimble Thimble is owned and run by Ruth & Mort Nierenberg. They charge a flat, modest price for sewing machine repair and do a good job (my machine was repaired quickly and repaired well). The shop can sometimes have unstable hours depending on if they need to leave to run an errand or have to shut down early. The workmanship is great, but the service is lacking in stability.
