My Place Pizza

I don’t understand all the bad reviews My Place is getting. The gentleman who owns My Place has always been very friendly and I’ve never experienced bad service. You don’t have a long wait time for your food. I usually get pizza and it is alway consistently good. The crust is perfect and the cheese to sauce ratio is just right! This is not a «fancy» establishment — it’s a good old pizza joint. So if you are looking for a good slice — try My Place!

I was staying nearby at the Marriott Penn Station hotel and needed a quick dinner in between events I was attending at the convention center at the hotel. I called an order in to the restaurant and when my husband went to pick it up he was told there wasn’t an order ever called in for us. The woman at the counter who was the owner’s wife was extremely RUDE! The owner himself was equally if not more rude than she was! The place was disgustingly dirty on top of it. I never ended up getting food from them bc of how nasty their customer service was. I will definitely NEVER be back or even consider patronizing this establishment.

This place is a hole in the wall that I wish I hadn’t found! Mediocre pizza and, like the other reviewers described, unfriendly service. My wife even thought it smelled bad, although I didn’t notice that. There have got to be better options in downtown Lancaster!

Over priced, less than mediocre pizza (generally burned). While the staff always seems friendly, the owner generally seems pissed that anyone is spending his money in his shop.
I don’t like leaving poor reviews and I love supporting local businesses, but after multiple poor experiences, you’d be best spending your money somewhere else.

Quite possibly the worst service for the most mediocre food.

This was really disappointing after weeks of wanting to try this place.

FOOD: I got my standard 2 mushroom slices and a coke. The slices really seemed overcooked and were crunchy. Now if this was a wood oven, I could accept that. But it was just the standard pizza oven.
To top it off, my 2 slices and a coke cost me 6.50 and something still doesnt add up there.
DECOR: Its your standard pizza shop. Plastic tables, brick walls.
SERVICE: Odd. I think the man and women working owned it, and they seemed like they were fighting. She was over here and wouldnt go over there and he just tossed the pizza down and called it out. Now if this was new york and the pizza was awesome it would go together. But it wasnt and it didnt.
