They use really cheap coffee, brew it poorly, and charge you way too much for it. The pastries are not very good, and they’re also overpriced. A few employees I’ve encountered can be unpleasant, being employed not by F&M but by Sodexho and therefore, most likely, leading less satisfactory existences. Everything is very loud and hollow-sounding and plastic-feeling, but all inside a space that doesn’t really ergonomically suit those qualities. Oh, and the worst part is that F&M has done a fantastic job of preventing small businesses from occupying space in the neighborhood, so there is nowhere else to go to get a coffee if you are a college student in between classes.
