I had two glasses of pinot noir and I almost can’t remember what I ate… oh yes, penne alfredo pasta. It was pretty good. I was attending a small party in the«God Father» room and it was quite small for our party of people, but was still a nice evening. The staff was great and refilled our beverages quickly. No complaints here, and it was a great Italian meal.

Second time we have ate here and only have good things to say. They had great service and the food is great! They are good size portions and reasonably priced. We just bought a house near by so we will be back!

Very good Italian food. Had an original baron. Very tasty. Along with an antipasto salad. Warning: this is not a place to go when you are pressed for time. About 1.5 to 2 hours for our group at lunch

The food is outstanding but the service totally sucks. Today we were served by zombie waiter.

First time here. I ordered the chicken Alfredo. Husband ordered spaghetti with meatballs. Meals come with a soup or salad, and garlic bread. I got salad with blue cheese dressing. Hubby got minestrone soup. Salad was a meal in itself. Blue cheese dressing was great! Hubby liked soup. Garlic bread was delicious! Hubby took the first bite. He pushed me to try a piece asap, while still warm. Bread was crispy on the outside, soft interior and buttery, tasty spread on top. Then the food came. Wow. Huge portions. I was starving, but I only made it ¾ of the way. My hubby wanted to finish his too, but he couldn’t. That’s a first! Prices are competitive. For huge portions, you get what you pay for. We will definitely be back. Will tell my family about this place. Waitress was very nice, tentative and on top of the drink refills, boxes and bill. I’m always looking out for awesome restaurants that are different(and better) than chain restaurants. I found this place! Olive Garden… No way!

Best eggplant parmesan I’ve ever had. Portions are huge. Staff are all very friendly and attentive. Sets the bar for what an American Italian restaurant should be like, from the décor and ambiance, to the wonderful staff, and of course the excellent dishes that capture the essence of Italy, Gino’s is a solid 5 out of 5 in my book.

My review is based on one thing… pizza. It’s the only item we’ve ordered from Gino’s because I so badly miss the great pizza from Philly and New York. Out of all the pizza’s we’ve ordered from them, there was only once where it didn’t meet our lofty expectations. However, when we called to notify them the manager asked if we could come back to get a new one(we couldn’t because I was just too lazy from a long workday). They said the next time we come, they’ll give us a replacement pizza for free! We picked it up tonight and it’s back to the standard we expected from Gino’s! Great pizza, great customer service, what else can I say about Gino’s other than I highly recommend this place for their awesome pizza!

Service was terrible the waiters were more interested in visiting with friends then taking care of the customers. Brought us hot plates for the salads.

So, I’m being generous with two stars. Only because the waiter was a nice guy. It’s been a long time since I have eaten at a place like this, knowing their history, I assumed they would be fantastic. WRONG. I’m personally an experienced chef, italian specialty. I know what a good meal should be. First, my friend requested off menu, early, at the time of drink order to ensure they would have plenty of time to prepare. Instead, ten minutes later, the waiter comes back and says the«chef» yelled at him, saying this was ridiculous. The request? Add a little steak on top of their manicotti dish. Wow dude. THIRTY minutes later, we received our meals. I ordered a very basic dish, Pomodoro sauce and pasta, with sausage. The pomodoro was over cooked to the point it reduced to a think sour sauce. The noodles were ok. But the sausage, wow, the sausage. It was pale, steamed and only a barely acceptable portion compared to the dish. It was dry, by dry I mean crumbled dehydrated beef in a weak casing. Terrible flavor and texture. Just plain bad. Again, the waiter was very nice and patient. Although service time was slow, another server on a four top that came in after us had them fed, full and happy well before we ever got the check. Sorry guys, stay away from the Lancaster stop, sticking to Palmdale location. Also, tell your cook to calm it down.

Our fist visit was Valentine’s Day, 2015. Our one year anniversary and we fell in love with this place. Tonight is our third visit to the Challenger Way location and every aspect of our meal is prepared with care and to perfection. We are amazed at their constancy for quality. The Chicken Pancetta w Angel hair is a «dream dish come true». I had the chicken penne primervera w gorgonzola and I am delighted. Jake is one of the best at making you feel at home and at ease while dining. We tried the location on Palmdale Blvd., but there is really something special about the team here. Always a great choice! So today we got super excited to hear that they were serving their broccoli cheese soup, and that they are periodically having it. But I have to tell you that today’s lasagna was a huge disappointment! The waiter, Marco, was great, I just wish the food had lived up to the service. This is normally a great restaurant, but today the kitchen was definitely off. The«4» raing is based on the fact that generally the food is really good here.

Garlic perfection! So good, the veal and garlic cheese bread are wonderful. If you are tired of waiting outside of olive garden get over here. Who would have thought behind 711 was a hidden gem. So good i can’t say it enough!

Oh man… I so wanted to like this place. It’s the closest restaurant to a place we moved into a few months ago, so I’ve been really wanting to try the place. I went here on Unilocal to check reviews and seemed like they were overall pretty good. I went by myself in just a t shirt and jeans, so maybe that’s why the host glanced at me as I walked in, but even though they weren’t busy made me wait a few minutes before he asked if he could help me… Asked if I wanted to eat in the dining room or the other side with the bar and live entertainment, I chose the side where they had a guy playing an electric piano and singing. Best described as really bad karaōke is all I could think of. He played the piano with the music track great, but when it came to singing I found myself chuckling it was so bad. After a while the humor left and it was really annoying. Give him an A for effort, I was thinking he might of been the owner, owners kid, friend of the family, or working free. It wasn’t a compliment to the meal at all to me. Looking forward to a nice Italian meal, I ordered veal parmigiana with pasta. Salad came without bread. Bread came after salad but before dinner so it got cold. The entrée was drowned in a load of red sauce that wasn’t very good, the veal looked like an over-fried patty slightly burned like you would expect to see in a greasy spoon diner. The pasta that came with it was cold and chewy. I took one bite of the pasta and left the rest. I finished the veal, but only because I didn’t want to spend almost $ 20 and leave hungry. Now let me try to find the positive… the place looked clean and well kept. Fair service I guess, seemed they try. Trying to salvage the meal I ordered dessert and coffee. Small coffee cup and they never offered a refill even after it took the. Crème brûlée 10 min to come out. Don’t think I’ll be going back

Pretty good… wish they had treated me like a paying customer. When I walked in everyone ignored me until they realized I wasn’t just there to use the bathroom. It was ok. I’d come back.

Okay… Gino’s has wonderful authentic Italian food and top quality drinks. But the one thing that impressed me was they did NOT ruin our dining experience by rushing us out because they were going to be closing for the night. This has happened at Foxys and Juliani’s. Thank you.

Food was good, not great… they give huge portions. I got the lasagna and pasta Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce seemed like it wasn’t cooked fresh. It was separated and very oily. The lasagna was very good. The thing that bothered me a lot is when i walked out, I noticed the had a B rating from the health department so I was wondering why the whole time I was eating my food from there.

Hands down the best Italian food in the valley ! I’ve been eating here since the 70’s and it’s the same homemade food made with love and care. They never disappoint! The food is excellent, order anything. The service is friendly and stellar! Make this a stop anytime you’re in the neighborhood or make a special trip, it’s worth it!

Man I LOVE this place and you know I have to love it starting off the review with«man». Everything in here is awesome the egg plant, the pasta, the breadsticks everything. Seriously the best Italian food I have ever tasted. Olive Garden has nothing on this place. I lived out in Lancaster for a majority of my life and I never went into this place till recently that was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. This is seriously one of my favorite places to eat. The service is great, The food is beyond great I cant say enough good things about this place because there are way too many. Someone from one of the food shows on the food network needs to come check this place out. One of the great things about this place is that you can make your pasta and food as spicy as you want it which is great for me because I love spicy food. The calamari is so awesome too. I think I am going to stop writing this review and head on out to Gino’s to eat now since writing this is making me want it more and more…
