Gardner’s Mattress And More

This place was an absolute disappointment. Barb took advantage of my nephew in purchasing a new mattress set. They were having a ½ off sale but never told us we were getting a FLOOR model. Over charged him and didn’t receive his bed frame. Was disrespectful when speaking to them on the phone about the matter as well. Unable to return because they wrote on the delivery receipt NO RETURNS but this is not on my nephews signed receipt. The only reason they are getting one star is for the delivery staff that my nephew paid $ 50 for in advance!

My wife and I decided to get a new mattress when moving last summer, so we went to Gardner’s. Ben was the one who helped us and, I must say, I was quite impressed with his expertise and his quiet passion for his products. I truly feel he stands behind his product line and he would be kinda hurt if he steered you toward a mattress you ended up disliking. He was incredibly patient with us as we decided which configuration of a latex mattress was best for us, and he even arranged delivery to New York City for us. I honestly feel you’re doing yourself a disservice if you’re in the market for a new mattress and don’t let Ben and his team help you find the one that’s right for you.

Saw the good reviews everywhere and decided to check this place out, though I was suspicious that the reviews had to be fabricated — no mattress store gets 5 stars across the board, right?
Being a recent college grad who has always lived in furnished apartments/​dorms, I was really unsure what to expect for my first bed-​buying experience. I was surprised to have a very laid-​back and informative experience. The salesman that helped us was great — very friendly and patient, helpful, and not at all pushy. You can tell they are very confident here (they should be) — no hard selling or sketchy sales. In fact, when we left to shop around at other stores, we thought it was very unusual that the salesman let us go without any pressure — just sent us off with our quote and told us they’d be open until 6 that day if we decided to come back, which we did. All in all, a great buying experience. Purchased our favorite bed we tried the entire day — and for several hundred dollars less than we would have paid at Wolfs. We were also surprised by the quick (and free) delivery — only 1 week — though I’m not sure if that’s the case if you do not live in Lancaster. Highly recommend!
